Wes shakily clamberred to his feet. His fur was drenched with a mixture of dirt and their blood. His body ache and hurt. His nerves were on fire. His ears had begun to stop ringing as they found the source of their pain had been silenced. His body was torn and broken, but his fighting spirit kept him well. With great effort he padded his way over to Prufalas, pausing a few paces fromher. His eyes met hers, his crimson eyes sent the message to her as easy as if he had spoken it. Yield that was what he wished of her. In truth he was not sure if he could survive another attack of hers and wished for their fight to be ended.

In a final effort of strength she pulled her wings inside and stood once more in wolf form and lie in front of him as was their mating custom and yielded. He would be a suitable mate the both had strong genes with no weaknesses to speak of and she knew when to succumb to instincts, which had been long over due. Phermones permiated the air and she smiled inwardly.

Wes nuzzled her gently as positioned himself accordingly. His eyes dimmed from their glowing crimson to a soft red tint reflecting for the first time, love. Their challenge now over, the fighting now finished, he mounted her, and the ancient act of mating began.

Her thoughts linked to his as she shared his memories and he shared hers. Her body began to heal itself and recover in its act of mating. Her need for elixir diminished as they conjoined and she released a silent howl in triumph, as life quickened like electricity inside of her.

Wes felt his soul become one with hers. The un-breakable bond was formed as the two mated. His heart became whole as the act drew to a close. He removed himself from her and laid down next to her, panting, nuzzling her gently.

She closed her eyes and when she woke a trickle of blood was streaming from her nose. She narrowed her eyes and stepped to her changing robes gathered her hilt and went to see Phaeron. It is time to get answers on the infection.

As Prufalas stood up to leave, Alexis broke the water barrier surrounding the room. She bowed slightly as Prufalas passed by and then turned to look at the room, sighing mentally as she observed the mess.

Alexis placed a hand gently on a scanner and waited for the door to open. The new headquarter was guarded by the newest technology, as well as more subtle mechanisms. Alexis had been sure to wrap the headquarters in more than just man made materials, and any intruder would be in for a nasty shock. As the door opened she stepped in quickly and moved aside so Phaereon could come in as well. Alexis made her way to a small lounge area, opening a small fridge to grab a bottle of water on the way. She looked over at the guardian, silently asking if he wanted anything.

Prufalas placed her hand on the scanner and waited impatiently for it to complete and verify her identity before proceeding through where she found Alexis.
"My body is in constant repair over this virus it would appear, it heals then faults then heals again. The heirs, it would seem have been born immune- this puts them at great risk, but makes them our greatest asset in our plight to erradicate the humans as well and perhaps this virus that plagues all of us"

"I agree. But," Alexis said calmly, tapping her fingernails slowly on the table, "we should use the vampires to our advantage. If we can cause the vampires and humans to fight, that would weaken them both enough that we won't have as much trouble when we come in."

I fairly young lycan male ran through forested area of the training ground with three Elites on his tale. Lucilius has worked long and hard to be prepared to enter the rank of Elites. He still pushed himself trying to perfect his skills before he asked his Empress the chance to prove himself. His neon pink eyes stood out among his light sandy beige fur. He pushed his legs to create some distance and he suddenly leaped releasing his passion and quickly worked to drain near by trees of their water and launching them in the form of whips lashing at the three elites. The two elites at the sides of the center where sent flying back. As Lucilius landed water around his hand materialized into a trident and he jumped toward the lycan coming at him impaling the trident into his front paw. A howl of pain was let out by the elite and Lucilius released his paw then impaled his side. Lucilius quickly let go and shifted then latching his jaw onto the hilt of the Trident and dragging the lycan around as the other two recovered and lunged. He spun the third around and launched him at the two that were coming. They all landed in a pile and Lucilius released his passion chuckling as he reached for the trident and pulled it out.

Visirus had followed the scent of the man he had met not that long ago and found him fighting. He smiled a bit but quickly padded up in his wolf form looking at Lucilius with his blood red eyes he smiled wolfishly before saying "Unusual weapon choice." and it was for he had never seen anyone use a trident before and it was definetly a cool one if Visirus had to say anything to describe it. He felt a heat in his chest and at that point he turned and looked into the forested area and said "Now lets have a little spar." he smiled warmly and turned into his human form at this point. He stood there no shirt and no shoes awaiting to see if this man would want to. Being that he wanted to be an Elite, that much was obvious, Visirus couldnt see why he would turn down a spar especially one that would be taken to the forested area surrounding them.

Lucilius was bare of clothing and smiled excitedly. "Sure!" He ran off deeper into the forest without any warning. He climbed and leaped from tree branch to tree branch showing off his flexibility, aerodynamic skills and speed. His giggles could be heard as he did so. His neon pink eyes looked back every now and then to keep an eyes on Visirus's energy signature. His white sandy hair flowed effortlessly with each leap.

Phaereon was sitting on the low branch of a tree, a sword in his lap. He looked utterly unscathed from the fighting. His three charges though had wondered off during some recent events and he wondered where they had gone too, it mattered only a little, for he was sure they were 1. immune to the infection and 2. were strong. He had trained them himself after all.
