Yumi and yuki looked at eachother, and then at the same time they said,

"All right, I will explain each criteria one at a time." Dante replied. "To undergo metabolism means that you take in energy to function. For example, you eat food to gain the nutrition and energy you need for the day. A plant goes through photosynthesis to make their own food to gain the energy they need. Any questions before I go on?"

"Maintain homeostasis means that your body keeps changing to maintain balance, so you won't get sick. If you do get sick, you body fights it off to restore balance. Same goes with plants and other living organisms. Any questions now?" Dante replied.
