"I can teach you. For now, let me cast one on you." Cirus focuses his magic and casts a minor illusion spell on her, concealing her tail. She has a hat for her ears. "I don't really do illusion either, but for obvious reasons, I have a few illusion spells. Anyway, away we go." He nods to her and heads off to the infirmary with George.

Raine nodded in silent thanks for the spell he cast on her tail. They both headed towards the campus, George in tow.

It happened quickly. Like they were waiting for their cue to move in, as though they already knew what was going to happen and had positioned themselves in anticipation for that. The meteor that fell from the sky into the lake, the twisted wreckage of metal and silicon, that's what they were after. Several water excavation teams move onto the shore of the lake, setting up tents and a wide variety of equipment. It seems as though some of the workers have brought their kids.
To the trained eye, the variety of equipment they bring is absolutely unnecessary. They also appear to not be working together, but against each other, competitively. They unload several work boats into the lake and begin looking for the site of the crash. Excavation cranes and sonar and everything. Whatever it is that's down there, they -really- want it...
