Robinkit... no, paw, was surprised. She thought she would become a warrior apprentice, like the others. But nonetheless, she was happy. She had an important job. She ran and sat by Sparrowfeather. Her bright green eyes watched Tigerpaw. Then she let her mind wonder for a second. Hey! Both the medicine cat and his apprentice had birds in their names! Cool! Then she shook herself, and reminded herself that she had an important job to learn, so she had to be focused.

"Oh don't worry. You were meant for the job, so just be yourself." Sparrowfeather whispered quietly into Robinpaw's ear.

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. Tigerpaw, from this day forth you will be known as Tigerfeather. Thunderclan welcomes you as a full warrior." Solarstar jumped down and licked Tigerfeather's head, who returned with a lick on the shoulder. The clan began to cheer again: "Tigerfeather! Tigerfeather!" Solarstar joined in before speaking to Tigerfeather. "Since it is still early in the day, you may help out in some duties before your vigil tonight," she said.

"Tigerfeather! Tigerfeather!" Beetlefur chanted. He padded up and nuzzled Tigerfeather's neck. "Congratulations," he siad.
Tigerfeather smiled and licked Beetlefur's ear. "Thanks. I'm proud to be a warrior now," she said.

Robinpaw sighed "Good." She was glad. "Do we get to start my training now? And do I get to stay with the other apprentices?"

Solarstar nodded, then left the clan and headed towards her den. She sat down in front of it and watched over her clan. She was proud to be their leader and cared deeply for all of them. Solarstar got up and went into her den to take a short nap.

"Unfortunately, you do not get to stay with all the other apprentices. You get your own part of the medicine cat den. And yes, we may start your training now. We will be going to get Juniper berries. They are purple berries found on dark green bushes with spiky leaves. They are for belly ache and for cats with trouble breathing." Sparrowfeather explained.

Robinpaw was sad that she didn't get to be with the other apprentices, but happy that she got to start her training. "Ok!" she said optimistically. She looked around for a dark green bush with spiky leaves.

"I think we should look near the stream." Sparrowfeather advised. He walked out of camp, with his apprentice. "You'll also learn to hunt and fight. So you'll have both training." Sparrowfeather informed her.

"I wanna be an apprentice to!" Tawneykit called out in a tiny determined voice, "Hush, you need to be 6 moons old!" Swiftwaters said quietly to the kit, trying to hold back her laughter.

Solarstar woke up from her short nap and stretched. "I needed that," she said, refreshed. She padded out of her den and spotted Swiftwaters with Tawneykit. "Is someone excited to be an apprentice?" the leader asked with a small laugh. "It's ok to be excited. I was when I was a kit."

Tawneykit was bounding around, when she noticed a small bird that must have fallen out of its nest, "Solarstar! Look!" She mewed happily before she stalked it and caught it with only a little trouble. Swiftwaters laughed, "Tawney! Where did you learn that?" Tawneykit placed the chick down by the two, "I caught it didnt I? See! I could even be a warrior at this rate! Or-or even a leader like you, Solarstar!" Swiftwaters giggled a bit.
