I have had a few one night stands with women, (they were not interested in a relationship)
I also had a somewhat complicated open but monogamous relationship with my best friend. It lasted about a year. We are still great friends but will never get back together. It was what it was and it ran it's natural course ^_^
I still think she's sexy as hell though. ^_~
I haven't had any other girlfriends as the women I do meet are a lot like the guys I meet. Interested in one night stands or 'experimenting' which, owing to my pathetic desperation for any kind of romance, I participate in.

Oh I am with you on the being a sucker for some sort of romance...even when I know it doesn't have any potential.
As far as the subject goes...I have been with more guys than girls...I find that they have certain differences that I want at different times. Girls are definitely more playful plus I love the taboo feeling about them. It also seems like most of the girls are more into some of the fetishes I like...guys looked at me and were like 'Whoa!' lolz...what can I say...I'm kind of a kink haha
Heh, I understand completely... It's not often men want to be dominated... and they certainly don't often want to dominate in the way I'd like them to. At least not the kinds of men I'm interested in. ;D
Though that said... I tend to be interested in women my own age or near it, and men... I tend to go for younger men.
