Mari grew irritated on how much it reminded her of herself. She looked at Ramona with gentle eyes she used to show her little sisters and brother before they passed. "Listen, life can throw whatever it has at you. You can either dodge it or try and catch it. Try and retrace your steps to see what went wrong with you and your brother and work from there." She said, surprised she was giving advice about sibling issues. "You should try and make up with him before he's gone or your gone." Mari said, feeling as though she just stabbed herself in the chest with her own dagger.

she just smiled weakly and told her friend "Ive done that so many times but whatever I do it cant be helped he always showed up as the one killing me from the inside until I was nothing but an empty shell" ramona lowered her head "I tried to talk to him but he never seemed to take any interest in patching up our relationship" she took off the choker she was wearing and at the side of her neck ther were deep scars made by a sharp knife

Mari gulped. She didn't quite understand it, yet it seemed familiar to her. Suyaki would probably know why I feel familiarity between this, Mari thought. She looked through her books and found what she was looking for. "Read this before the others. It might help." She said. "Taking three Steps is a book that show how to go through many issues like this." She braced herself as she walked up to Ramona and slightly touched each mark. "Hold still. This might hurt a little." She closed her eyes and sent her energy through her. She opened her eyes and let go. "It won't heal them, but it will fasten the process." She got up and went back to the shelf to put the other books away.

Mari closed her eyes, folded her arms, and smirked slightly. "Will anything ever be able to break a broken soul." Mari started to quote her favorite quote, "Trying to fix a broken heart is like trying to fix a mirror... might as well leave it be instead of getting hurt trying to heal it." She sighed. "My soul is far from saving, so I do my best to help others." She said.

Mari sensed the being which didn't feel familiar. She took out Naibun and Mizu immediately. "Who's there?" She said in a firm and cold voice. Her eyes turned a dark crimson red instead of her regular red eyes.

A small animal like demon jumped from behind ramona causeing her to hiss at the demon

Mari pointed one of her swords to the small demon. At first it seemed as though he was too small to be a problem, but she knew to not judge a book by its cover. "Who are you?" She said, sounding as cold as an Alaskan blizzard. She tried to control her anger, or else she might come out.

"Mattie! oh wow when'd you get here?" she hugged the demon tightly with a huge smile on her face.
"I just got here mona" the demon spoke with a strangled voice

Mari's expression went completely blank. "Mattie?" She asked. She seemed to be a little befuddled.

Mari out down her swords. "Sorry." She mumbled, annoyed. She put Naibun and Mizu into their cases. There was an agglomeration of articles next to them, but she tried to not get caught up into it. "So one of your five brothers?" She said, sounding shocked. She never really knew, or remembered much of, a large family such as that.
