Alice shook her head and picked up the abandoned,torn,and bloody shirt. It wouldn't do if the police began to suspect the building as a murder scene and wandered inside! The girl walked after her friend briskly. It was indeed becoming somewhat dark but she was sure that they would be able to find their way back.
"Lets try not to take any more detours."

"Yeah ok..." He said looking up at the sky to see the moon already out. He smiled and looked down at her, "You want a ride?" He said as he slowly turned into his wolf form. He was the size of a horse!

Alice scratched the wolf behind the ears and raised an eyebrow quizzically. She gently sat on his back patted him good naturedly.
"A wolf with a poor sense of direction? I've never heard of such a thing."
She said with a smile.

 Alex's tail wagged happily as she scratched his ear. He then began walking toward the direction he prayed the school was. Hearing her comment made him laugh..but who knows what that sounded like when it came out from a wolf. Enjoying the ride? He said telepathically.

"Well.."
Alice started with a serious look on her face.
"Its better than riding a dodo bird."
She continued to scratch Alex's head as she surveyed the road. Less abandoned homes and more actual houses. And barns. Lots of barns. She frowned. Since when has this part of town been taken over by farmers?

Alex chuckled again and his tail wagged more as she kept scratching his ear. As they continued to walk Alex could smell delicious live meat. He looked around to see farms...and as he did he saw chickens and cows roaming around everywhere. It was all so tempting.

Alice hummed as they wandered along and kept an eye on their surroundings. After seemed half an hour they finally stepped into the town. The Academy could be seen towering above everything..though it was still a ways off.
"Well,would you look at that."

Alex smiled, "Awesome..ok i'll pick up my speed so we should be there in at least half an hour... Hang on!" He said as he couched down and lunged up into the sky and he began running at full speed down the hill into the town.

Alice squeaked and clung too him as he jumped. She buried her face into his fur and sighed.
"Tell me when we get there."
She murmured,her eye clamped shut.

"Sure thing," Alex said as he jumped up on the roof and then from there on he leaped from rooftop to rooftop the Academy getting closer.

Alice made a soft squeaking sound each time he landed. The girl wasn't used too such a strange mode of transportation. She opened her eye for a peek before gasping and shutting it again. Heights + Alice = Not a good mixture. After all,she always seemed to be falling.
"Scarrrrry..."

Alex came to a quick stop, but made sure she didn't go flying off his back. He sniffed the air then heard his stomach growl loudly, almost sounding like a monster. His tail and ears drooped as he finally felt his hunger set in. In the distance he could smell someone roasting a duck.

A loud grumbling sound startled the girl as she sat up abruptly. It took her a few minutes to realize that it was her furry friend's stomach. She rubbed the canine's back for a moment as she thought.
"Your really hungry aren't you?"

"Yes," he said hanging his head almost as if he was ashamed. "I haven't eaten in 5 days."

"Oh,you poor thing!"
Alice exclaimed. She rubbed his head as she mulled over what too do. The town had restaurants didn't it? Or they could always wait till they got back too the schoo- no,dinner would be long gone by than.
"Well than,what would you like to do? I have some money somewhere..."
She murmured as she rummaged through her book. The girl usually just kept money and such in it. It beat carrying around a purse at least.
