This is like... the first guild I've seriously been in where I haven't had power.
I guess you can't know the feeling of losing it in my case.
Considering all the guilds I run-in are practically dead. xD

Crunge Okay, I'd just like to say that we had to demote a lot of people because there were too many people with crew privileges. We needed to weed 'em out. So, it wasn't selective, it was based purely on those who have asked to stay as crew and given us reasons why. Everyone else got demoted, so don't feel bad. After all, it's not like it's the end of the world. It was to organize the guild so don't get your panties in a twist. Srslay. The guild captain and I have talked, and we decided that we need to thin out the staff in the guild, and the reason you're still seeing so many vice captains is that love2ladybugs has not yet done her part of the job. I am just a vice captain, so I cannot demote other vice captains. Again, don't get mad at us, we're trying to keep the guild orderly. It wasn't personal, and it was not just for fun. I really took into consideration who would be valuable to keep a crew and who wouldn't, and we may even cut it down even more. No offense bro but you have way too many vice captains and captains as is. Why not then figure out who you want as crew and vice captain etc i.e. who seems fit for the job. I just think that it's kind of a stupid excuse really. Having a lot of crew versus vice captains would help keep the guild clean. Crew is actually a good position because it keeps it limited to keeping the guild clean. Thus keeps a lot of the other stuff a little more controlled. So if anything cut the vice captains by a lot and demote the vice captains to crew.

Well if you had read the whole thing you would understand that it is our intention to thin down the VC's to about 3 or 4, and that I do not have the ability to demote the rest of the people. Only the main captain can do that.

I'm not upset about getting demoted.
I'm just upset that you didn't even tell me why in the little "send a reason why" messagebox that comes up when you go to demote someone.
I mean s**t, a simple "We're trimming down the crew members" message would have been nice, but all we got was a blank message saying LOL DEMOTED.
Personally, I was offended by the fact that you didn't even bother to tell me WHY you did what you did, WHEN you did it.

Well, going by the the weeding out going by who hadn't asked to stay on, I have a thread in the elections to work with the avatar section, but got demoted anyway XD

Sounds like a slight case of "Powers no fun when everyones got it", I thought this guild was for fun, is there really a reason to demote people before they've done anything wrong as crew? Shouldn't judge the quality of a guilds organization by the size of its, erm, crew, it just means more people can add more people for positive growth.

I have been demoted/kicked out before, though. Sucky feeling, but I never did participate in that particular guild, anyway.

She just sort of cleared out people from the crew list for no reason.
I'm putting everybody on crew, and you'll only be demoted for being a bad cookie.

(But crew don't get announcement privileges, they have to contact a vice captain to organize an announced party.)

Nobody will feel left out anymore, but we'll still have VC so that we have SOME control in case you all rebel on us.
