"Oh i see...i have to admit i was doing the exact same thing." He chuckled and looked over at one of the cracked windows. "In fact i was chasing a ghost a couple minutes ago because it kind of took something of mind." He looked at her with a warm smile, "Do you mind helping me out?"

Alice chuckled.
"A ghost huh? Sounds like something right up my alley."
The girl flipped her book open and paged through the spells,trying to find something useful. Of course as usual there wasn't much. She frowned and looked up.
"Did it look like anything in particular?"

"It was just a ball of light that flew off with a necklace of mine. Thats why there was so much noise before." He said looking at the direction he last saw it.

Alice stood up and wandered down the hallway the way he was staring. She hummed as she went,opening doors along the way.
"Well come on than. Its probably just hiding."
She trotted ahead of him still opening every door in sight.

Alex nodded and followed her his eyes scanning the room for the flying orb of light. He really needed the necklace back..he almost felt bare without it.

Alice skidded to a halt after opening every door in the hallway. She looked around somewhat forlorn. The little will o' wisp was hiding very,very well. Maybe it had taken up refuge in some kind of object.
"Maybe I could track it with that..."
The girl paged through her book silently as she tried to find the page.
"I'm Alice. Whats your name?"
She asked softly without looking up at him.

"Oh yeah, I'm Alex. It's nice to meet you Alice." He said obvious that a smile was on his face. He watched skim through her book.

Alice gave an airy 'aha!' as she read the page silently. No matter how often she used this summon its chant always slipped her mind. Understanding the basis of the spell the girl shut the book and concentrated hard on an empty space nearby. She flicked her wrist in a neat throwing motion and a grinning cat slowly materialized from the shadows.
"Success."

Alex watched with curiosity and smiled at the cat that began to appear. "Wow, magic must be really fun."

Alice nodded in agreement as the cat cackled and hopped onto her shoulder. She stroked its fur slowly and somewhat cautiously.
"Sometimes. It must be taken seriously or..."
She trailed off with a gentle smile as she gestured to her eyepatch. She coughed and changed the subject.
"Sir,this is the Chesire Cat. It can probably help us."

Alex looked at her eye patch finally noticing it. He was to amazed by her looks and magic that he didn't even know it was there. He looked at the cat and smiled, "Cool."

"Cool? Son,I am much more than coool..." The cat purred with the same annoying smile on its face.
Alice flicked its nose and reprimanded it as she explained the situation slowly. The cat listened calmly and rather silently.
"Cheshire-Puss," She began gently,"we need you to hunt down a ghost for us. It took Mr.Alex's necklace. Could you...?"
She finished. With a nod the cat began to slowly disappear,until nothing was left but its grinning head. The sight was a bit creepy and unreal if you didn't know better. It winked at Alex before it disappeared completely.

"Would awesome suit him better?" Alex said with a light chuckle as he watched him disappear. He looked at Alice wink at him so he decided to wink back at her. He couldn't look pass how pretty she was.

Alice laughed.
"The Chesire Cat is very,very confusing. We might have to wait awhile for it too come back."
The girl dusted off a metal side table and sat down on it,ready to wait the cat out. The cat would often play around before it finished a job. Stupid cat.
"But everything in this book is a bit strange to tell you the truth..."
She gestured to the grimoire she had set in her lap.

"Oh i see, well all this is confusing to me," He chuckled nervously and sat on the ground and leaned against the wall behind him. He wanted to get to know her. "So can you tell me a bit of your background?"
