Skie simply nodded as she motioned him inside. It wouldn't do to shun something so much more powerful than her. Especially when he had yet to be hostile. Skie was not one to make enemies when she didn't have to, it did not bode well for survival. Besides, who was a Sand Demon going to tell about her dwelling.

Lena continued on her way. She wondered if she would meet up with her former traveling companion on her way to the village. She had been following a lead about her past in a small village out in the middle of nowhere while gathering the fruit.

Dervish chuckled lightly, "Please, ladies first. It's only polite after all."

(Hey Jessi if it's me you're speaking of she's pretty far from any village, like smack between the two.)
Skie motioned to the string she still held in her hand then the boulder and waved him in again. She would need to reset her little trap from the inside, meaning if he wanted to come in he had to do so before her in order for her to reset it.

[[Lena and Dervish know each other, a slight carry over from the last time we played in this rp. Thank you though ^.^]]

(Well like I said she is smack in the middle of two towns, so you could run into them that way. Her hideout is under ground but Zy's character should be able to sense you walking on the sands if you're close enough. Ne Zy? If not my character will be heading to one of the towns once it's dark out.)

[[okidoki]]
Lena drew closer to the center of an unmarked sort of path between the two major villages. This is where she would have to decide which one to go to.

Dervish chuckled softly, "I can see how it works from here, and if I wanted to enter before you I would be inside already, I have a friend to meet, if you don't mind more company?" He left it as a question, she did, in fact have a choice in the matter.

Skie frowned beneath her scarf and hooked the trigger wire on a temporary peg, she used it when she had to make more than one trip to carry things. Reaching up she pulled the scarf from her short dark hair, letting it fall around her neck again. Her hand moved to the goggles and pushed them up, revealing her rich brown eyes. Making a motion to him she was inquiring if it were another demon. She wasn't in the habit of opening her sanctuary to others. There was no way she would have lived this long if she had. A demon in her home was one thing, if he had wanted her dead she would have been by now. But two was not a comforting thought.

"Like me? Nope, human, old friend of mine." Dervish said lightly, his smirk never leaving his face.

Skie snorted, they couldn't have been too old or they wouldn't be this far out from towns. Taking another moment to consider it she nodded, his friend could come as well. Whoever it was would not be able to find her home a second time without a guide. A few she had helped in the past had tried and failed. In the desert a pile of boulders looks like almost all the other pile of boulders. Unless you knew what you were looking for.

Dervish bowed elegantly, grin almost splitting all the way across his face as he rose, "I thank you for your hospitality."
A whisper of a breeze blew across Lena's face, a faint push in the right direction, an obvious signal from Dervish if you knew him well enough.

Skie made a point of gauging the time, using the sun to do so. She wanted to head to town once it was dark out. It was a rule for survival out here, to do most your work in the night instead of the day. Dropping her pack next to the rope ladder she returned to lean just inside of the boulder. Any one passing by within sighting distance would never see the small girl.
