Leonidas
Burning Avarice

"Finally, we are all here. Enough time has been wasted, let us feast upon the light and consume this beacon." Leonidas smiled cruelly enjoying the possibilities of what he could do with his strongest asset was uninhibited by his greatest obstacle. With the Mars Star in his possession, the only possible threat might be an army of Mercury Adepts empowered by the Mercury Star. With out the Mercury Star though, they would be no more than ants beneath his boot.

And here he was, standing at the foot of the unguarded Mercury Lighthouse. It's beacon's light spilled over the outside edge of the aerie and was swallowed by the ageless man's greedy eyes. The ignorant world was unprepared for him and he would make the world regret it. Their first mistake was mounting the Mars Star in an incomplete Lighthouse unable to properly defend it. Their second would be failing to defend the only counter to his prize from razing Prox.

Nonchalantly, Lenoidas waved his hand. Such a fundamental psynergy such as Move was as natural as breathing for the Fire Master. The decorated statue that poorly hid the entrance to the Lighthouse jumped aside, eager to please. Confidently, he strode into the depths of the lighthouse, pausing at the entrance only to beckon his subordinates to follow after him.

Passing under the first blue stone arch, Leonidas almost hesitated taking the next step, for he found himself suddenly accosted by a heavy weight over his entire being. Almost hesitated. The Lighthouse's own Mercury psynergy would exert it's pressure on his mind and on his psynergy for his entire visit, as if it could sense his intentions. He was expecting the Lighthouse to resist him, but it would soon learn that nothing would stop Leonidas Aztarath.

Eathle looked and see a group in the distant "I hope that's them"
((forget that 1 lol that was me misreading things))
Eathle followed them

((May, they're already inside the lighthouse))

Leonidas
Burning Avarice

The first puzzles were simple. Various treasures and chests littered some of the rooms, but Leonidas would not be distracted. He was after a far greater prize than mere gold. As they progressed further though, his patience for the puzzles thinned. Initially he'd been amused by the little obstacles. Serving to savor and build up to his approach of the aerie, he'd allowed himself to consider and have his minons solve the puzzles properly, however after they began squabbling in a room with three doors, and a shallow pool in the center in the middle of which was a weight sensitive switch about who would have to be left behind to stay standing on the switch, Leonidas was done playing by the lighthouse's rules. It had ceased to be entertaining and he now simply wanted the Star.

The next room was lined with statues similar to the one at the base's entrance, evenly spaced along one wall of the winding hallway. One or more would most likely hide a passage way to continue, though, the hall way did appear to continue around the corner some way...

((I realize I'm sorta dragging you three along. I just want this group to get ahead of Maewen and Drake the way they're supposed to be and catch up with the current timeline of events. We should be good after this post and you can have more free reign. We get to wreak the rooms starting with this one.))

Eathle was the only one the split up from the group and went after the chests faster then the others cause she sometimes have treasure on the brians today but she quickly catches up with them but 1 peace of treasure cought her eye and she went after it and gotten seprated from the others "oops" Eathle walked around finding more treasure and soon found herself lost in large maze of pipes.

Simon

Simon followed behind Leonidas silently but ever watchful. Not only for potential enemies but at his allies tendencies as well as faults.
He chuckled as Leonidas became irritated.
Perhaps we should be less cautious about the tower's anitque sculptures and find the star...Just an idea...
Simon was trying to enrage Leonidas just enough to take down a couple of rooms, so that the trail up the tower wouldn't be so long and obstacle filled.

Leonidas Aztarath - Burning Avarice

The madman cackled with malice at Simon's remark, the very suggestion twisting in his mind. "A splendid idea, my friend. Let's just do away with it!" At that, the man unleashed a powerful blast of his fire psynergy, decimating the architecture around them. Walls and statues crumbled, and streams evaporated- such was the sheer power of the man's psynergy. "This is the power of Alchemy!" So long as the Mars Star is within my hand, nothing will stop me from claiming the others. With great determination, the man strode forward, his eyes burning with desire.

Leonidas
Burning Avarice

The marauding flame master blasted through any obstacle he encountered, with what someone may describe as a sadistic merriment, the twisted pleasure derived from destruction that resonates with all men's dark sides blazed freely in Leonidas. As wanton as it was, his carnage was not heedless. The man knew well enough not to bring the whole lighthouse down upon them all.

For a moment, he noticed that they were short one body. "Where is Eathle?" He absently mused but dismissed the thought. "Never mind, she can take care of herself."

Ascending the final stair case, the passage opened to the aerie bringing a painfully chilling wind. Leonidas frowned slightly and wrapped his flame aura tighter around him, forcing out the cold. Then he examined the rest of the lighthouse's highest floor. The sun's low angle had already nearly completed its setting behind the mountains to the west. It's red glow, while providing little warmth, cast upon the surrounding sea as if setting the very water aflame. A most fitting setting to witness his imminent victory. The thought rekindled the fire master's dark grin and he turned to face his prize.

At the center of the aerie hovered the beacon. Leonidas could feel the mar star, pulsing in it's mythril sac at his waist. Protesting it's proximity to it's natural enemy ever since setting foot inside the lighthouse's cool stone halls, it's objections now threatened the integrity of it's container.

Leonidas chucked softly to himself. "You feel it as well. Our ultimate enemy. Once we've conquered it, nothing will oppose us." He extracted the Mars star and teased it with his aura. It began to pulse in time with his heart beat and with each beat, Leonidas pulled it's endless power into himself. "Water and Fire are true opposites. Enough water will extinguish a fire, but enough fire, will boil away any water!" With that last utterance, he drove his power into the heart of the beacon.

And it popped. The beacon's light vanished and nothing remained. The aeire cast into darkness, Leonidas approached the hollow above which the beacon once sat. What was this? In the Mars lighthouse, the aerie was the Star's home, here in the heavens above the worldly domain. He glanced around again, turning away to look out over the land and sea. So where was the Mercury Star? Was the Mercury Lighthouse so different from the Mars? Suddenly, he noticed a soft blue light reflecting off the pillars and statues around him, originating at his back. Turning furiously, the beacon had reformed and returned to placidly casting it's light over the frozen world.

Leonidas ground his teeth, glaring at the swirling oversized bauble, floating there. Mocking him. him!

Simon

Simon watched Leonidas from the top of he staircase. Watching how he was slowly losing his temper. This was the most powerful man in Weyard...
He stood there, silently analyzing his most powerful ally, and possibly, his worst enemy

Leonidas
Burning Avarice

Leonidas's rage seethed, but it did not boil over. He took a moment and calmed himself. At that moment, he remembered that he was in fact not alone. Resealing his anger behind a small icy smile, he turned to his companion wind adept.

"My friend. As I seem to recall, you hail from Hestteka, correct? From the Anemos region? Would you happen to be familiar with the Jupiter Lighthouse? If the Star is not at the beacon, then where might it.. be?" The fire master trailed off. Despite possibly arriving at an answer of his own, he was interested in hearing what Simon thought on the matter. For all the fire he wielded, Leonidas's gaze held no warmth.
