Did they require your social security number or bank account number?
If they did.. you need to be more cautious.
If not, don't worry!
I think Gurren Lagann is pretty awesome. Mechas powered by FIGHTING SPIRIT and it's really fast paced (like every 8 episodes could be an entire freaking series @_@ )... yeah. I'm a fan razz

They asked for my social security number, but I know that they normally ask for that so they can do a background check. If they asked for my bank account I wouldn't have given it. I call today though and everythin' is in order. I also had them email me a receipt. My mom is just really good at makin' me get paranoid about things.
And I just can't get into Gurren Lagann. Like all my friends adore it and I don't see why. It just seems like any other Mecha (which I'm actually a huge fan of) but with kinda ridiculous lookin' ones. I dunno, maybe I just haven't watched enough.
Hmmmm, I dunno what to suggest. When I cosplay I only do characters I like and can play as. I also always pick characters who have glasses, since I wear glasses. So I can't really suggest anythin' because I'm not sure what sort of anime you're into.

I'm not a huge mecha fan. I mean, I really liked Evangelion, Macross Plus, and Escaflowne.. but that does not a mecha fan make.
To me it's sort of a parody / dumbed down sort of mecha system. Explanations are overrated... it's a comedy, but also has a lot of dramatic stuff happening. I dunno.. it's exactly the kind of stuff my brother would write and I've grown up liking his sense of humor xd
Suggest anything even if I don't know it? I've watched a lot.. and can watch more.

Oh god, I loved Escaflowne! It was one of the first animes I ever saw!
And I guess I just haven't watched enough of it. It just seemed kinda dull to me when I saw the first few episodes.
And since Code Geass is my favorite anime then I'd recommend that. There's an awesome outfit I saw someone do of one of the characters called Euphemia, but you'd have to have seen the end of the first season to truly appreciate it, and I don't wanna ruin it if you haven't seen it. It's like sayin' what happens in the 25th episode of Death Note. xd

And another quick update. I leave for Indiana at 5am tomorrow mornin' and I find out today from my roommate that the apartment is uninhabitable. The landlord had agreed to do things to the apartment that have not been done, so now it looks like we won't be goin' there, which means I'm goin' to Indiana with absolutely nowhere to live. It's gonna be quite a day tomorrow.

It's goin' amazin'! They've agreed to replace the carpet and clean under it and everythin', and the apartment is HUGE! The rooms are so big and the ceilin' is way way high!
My roommate also rocks and I found some awesome furnature and supplies today. We have to both sleep in the livin' room downstairs since the carpets are gone and won't be replaced until Monday upstairs in our rooms, but it's given us a lot of bondin' time. They're obsessed with zombies, and this makes me happy!
I also have wireless internet all set up as well as netflix, AND I found out that the monthly rent here is $50 cheaper then advertised!
But yeah, I'm incredibly happy and excited to start school now!
