Me and two other girls were guys in that play. (Other parts in the play like Mercutio, Tybalt, and the prince were changed to be female roles. My performing arts club is mostly female.) One girl had to ace bandage her chest, but my shirt was baggy enough so that my chest wasn't very. . . er. . . noticable. ninja There haven't been too many incidences where guy's had to play female roles, but I think in one case we actually made the guy into a cross dresser . . . .

The office actually doesn't like performing arts club for some reason though, so we're always on our toes not doing things that other clubs do all the time. (Like for a while they wouldn't let us practice on stage even when no one was using it after school stressed ) But we survive. We had to completely rewrite this latest play. It used to be a Treasure Island spoof, but now its more like Gilligan's Island meets Star Wars xd

It was at Space Camp. ::pokes quest:

Well, we had to scrap the star wars spoof idea. stressed We had this one scene where Luke and Leia were having some family time with Vader, and so they were playing baseball with lightsabers, and Luke accident hits Leia. That was funny. But now we're just gonna do a shakespeare play so that we can actually have a full cast. . . But Othello isn't funny at all. . . *sigh*

Yea. The way it usually seems to go with Shakespeare is: Tragedy = everyone dies, Comedies = everyone get married. But there are some exceptions. . . . Our school usually has two plays each year. One is any old play and the second is always Shakespeare. This year we were so off schedual that our director said only one play. And so many people had to quit the play because they either couldn't be there the day the play was schedualed for or because they just hated the play we were doing. stressed So we didn't have a cast. So we convinced our director to let us just do Shakespeare and push back the date of the play. So, at least we have a cast, but I'm kinda bummed about getting cheated out of doing a comedy. Now I'll actually have to act. . . xd

aww... but normal acting can be fun too cool or you could "turn" it into a comedy XD but hey you guys get two plays a year? lucky... every year for us is a made up comedy that our drama teacher creates... and only one play... but it takes half the year preparing for it so I dont think we'd be able to fit more then one in a year...
