Damian Myrddin What would we use for the albums though? Should we have a guild account on photobucket or what? o.O? i suppose that's a possibility. i think faith meant album threads, but it would be easier if we found a place to host for all of us.

I wouldn't mind, as long as there are people willing to help out. Plus, if most of the personal info was collected, birthdays and vitals could be taken and automatically put into the Member Information and Birthday Access, instead of repeated PMs to Astri and Nusumi, hunting down everyone.
What sort of info do we want to collect outside of name (real or otherwise), birthday, interests, and a short paragraph or two about themselves?

Give plenty of categories thoguh, so they don't feel obliged to fill out everything and share more than they're comfortable with.

I'll just take down suggestions until it seems like a viable thread. Some things should obviously be mandatory (like actually posting or a minimum number of information filled out). Back to brainstorming. sweatdrop

Ok i got one. Make a bar. Like now. Cuz i tried to make one. And you said no. "You cannot have that bar cuz i am making one and you have no power". Well...you didnt quite say that. But still. I want to have a bar here D=

I was thinking. to reduce thread count maybe you could delete old, pointless, or just duplicate threads. well to clean up the place. It's be great to have it with like 4 threads or main heads.

kinda my idea of a clean place, if a thread becomes inactive for say a month, it is obsolete and should be either upgraded or cut off.

just my idea... Personally, I don't mind leaving old threads there. I don't know whether autodelete is active, if it isn't I'll think about cleaning house. But Gaia DOES tell you which threads have new posts when you view the topic listing, so it's not like it's that confusing.

Some people just don't think things like this through. They just get caught up in the idea of being a member and then don't act on the commitment. I've seen it happen in extra-cirricular groups, I've done it to all the guilds in my sig (in fact, I'm only active in this one). It happens, Astri. I was actually going to suggest the idea of contacting these people, but you beat me to it.
Also, I just recieved a PM from a member asking for permission to start a bar thread. I know there is one in the works, but people are bound to get terribly impatient. Is it going to go up soon, or should we just allow the creation of multiple bars (though precedent would make that a double standard)?
