"s**t s**t s**t!!" yells Jeehawd as he jumps around like a fool trying to avoid being hit. He eventually finds a depression in the ground, and dives into it. He takes time to get his bearings straight, then spots Keizo spraying into the woods. Taking a hint, he primes an incendinary grenade and heaves it deep into the foilage....
Oh s**t, the smoke is from the resulting brushfire is going to give our position away to the artillery...
"We gotta get out of here fast!!" he yells to his squadmembers. "Bombardment comin'!"

"Right!" Keizo tried to look up from behind a rock but a bullet sent chips of stone flying at him and he ducked down again, holding his helmet. "Get the Specter to strafe the entire ******** jungle!"

The ominous whine above them proved Rachied's warning. Keizo swung his rifle and surveyed the jungle one last time before starting after the sniper.
A mortar round crashed through the canopy and exploded a good sixty yards ahead of them.
"We've can take a couple more rounds before they get home in on us," Keizo warned the others. "Let's head for higher ground and have the bird high time it over here and take out those guns."

The trees around them started swaying as the chopper passed overhead.
"There's our bird!" Keizo yelled, casting a glance over his shoulder. The artillery had stopped firing, so most likely they were being pursued by the infantry Rachied had driven back.
The mercenary dropped to one knee and lit a flare, waving it over his head.

((Let's speed things up a bit...))
The chopped swung in and picked the team up out of the clearing, the door gunners shredding the surrounding jungle and driving the infantry back in terror. Having nabbed all the mercenaries, the helicopter swung back up into the sky and dissappeared with a little rader jamming magic.
Keizo grinned at the others and dropped his pack and rifle onto the floor of the chopper.
"Now that's how it's ********' done."

Rachied turns to his squad trying to calm his adrenaline down a bit and says, "Was it just me or did those mortars get a bit close, but all this meens is we check out or informants more carfuly."
He looks back a a bullet torn jungle wasteland behind him and says, "I guess I'll feel better when I get back to base."

Keizo shook his head in mock disapproval, grinning as the rush of battle died away.
"I put in a request for our squad to be exempted from any missions for the next few days, so we can all take it easy," the squad leader informed the others. "But don't get too complacent," Keizo added slyly.

Specter flew them out over the ocean and soon had them landing on the surfaced Sidewinder. The ocean winds were calm as the squad was greeted by naval personnel and led down into the ship.

"Enjoy your time off," Keizo said, slamming two beer cans onto the table in front of Jeehawd and Rachied.
The room was furnished like any normal living room, complete with couches and a big screen TV. There were certainly benefits to working for a private entity rather than a government army.
"Shaken," Keizo called, snatching a pool stick off the wall and heading for the table, a frothing beer can in his other hand. "Let's play."

"Sure, I will really enjoy this time off," Shaken hung his steyr on the wall and lit a cig and put the balls on the pool table. He inhaled deeply and blew smoke into the light hanging from the ceiling. He watched the smoke fall slowly. "Your break?"

"Damn right," he answered, setting the can on the table where the others were sitting and making the first hit to break the triangle.
"Give me one of those," he demanded, motioning towards the cigarettes. "Where'd you get those from, anyway? They don't sell 'em on the base."
