Senstren

Senstren grinned back. He could feel Yawgmoth's energies focusing underneath him. Quite clever. His wards would almost completely negate a direct magical attack, but they had no effect on influencing things to attack him. "Well, I guess this leaves us with only one option then..." He said, raising his hand, palm up and pointing two fingers at Yawgmoth. "Draw." He said, loudly enough for Yawgmoth and probably the onlookers to hear. With that, he flicked his thumb out, causing a white spark. The bone fragments immediately launched towards the back of Yawgmoth's knees, flat side first, in an attempt to buckle them and drop him to the ground. From Senstren's fingers erupted a searing white line of fire, aimed at Yawgmoth's stomach was at standing level, where his chest or neck might be if he fell. Senstren could only hope that this would be enough to break his concentration away from whatever he was targeting.

At the words 'draw' Yawgmoth ceased to be in front of Senstren the air where he had been standing was hot and warm. The energy matrix had been discharged and a planeshift had occurred. In his mind the titan cursed himself for having to resort to it against someone he considered to be so much weaker. But, those caster types tended to be brainiacs and were often much smarter than they first appeared. The tearing aether spat Yawgmoth out to Senstren's left where he whispered a silent command to the shadows that had come alive.

A large tentacle, much thicker and more advanced than the ones before, bore from the necromancer's shadow and moved to wrap around his neck attempting to strangle him. This, combined with the titan's sudden vanishing act would cause the bone fragments to hit their master since Yawgmoth was no longer in their path. The choice was his, be hoisted up and choked by the tentacle made from shadows or be blasted by own bone fragments. Either way it wasn't likely to be very pleasant.

"What?!" Senstren yelled, releasing the spell and grabbing at the tendril at his throat with his left hand. Letting it take his weight, he pulled his legs off the ground, dodging the bone fragments. He held out his right hand, quickly drawing a symbol to summon his scythe from the ground. It shot over towards his outstretched hand as Senstren struggled for breath. Catching the weapon, he rapidly began draining energy from the scythe into his body, causing his body to radiate Free Magic, symbols forming in the Necromancer's mind.

"Last pitiful attempts at doing something with that scythe hmm?" Yawgmoth taunted as the tentacle tightened its grip. The titan moved swiftly back in front of the necromancer and his expression changed from egotistical taunting to cold calculating precision. With Senstren's body being held aloof by the strangling tentacle the opportunity was now. His intent was to pound the sorcerer like a punching bag. A flurry of rapid punches each aiming for vital areas to cause the most damage launched from his powerful fists. Whatever magics he was gathering had better be potent lest he be beaten to a pulp, within an inch of his life as they had agreed upon in the beginning.

Intresting Said the voice. Reok made no response. He was intently watching the fight now and determined that if he were to ever get in a fight with yawgmoth he would either have to restrict magic, which he'd rather not do, or be ready with his own form of teleportation since that seemed to be the norm around here. Still he saw flaws in the tactics used here. While Yawgmoth's abilities seemed endless and very well timed it was evident that he had either not forseen the earlier scythe's return or was too stubborn to admit it's threat. His reactions however seemed to make up for this but Reok didn't think that burn mark on Yawgmoth's back was necessary. Senstren on the other hand had pointed his own gun at himself and had failed to use it to full advantage from Reok's point of view. If he had hoped to bring Yawgmoth himself to his knees with them then why not try to use them to strike the new enemy behind him? Right now it seemed Senstren was focused more on his own condition rather than that of his enemy. A policy that had it's pros but an equal amount of cons. Turning to Ziven he commented, "It seems the one with the Scythe is having some difficulty. I recall that this contest was not to be to the death so then are we responsible to see to it that this does not happen or can we trust the participants themselves?"

Blue eyes observed, pleased to see the outcome before her. It would seem neither would be injured too greatly, though injured they both were.

When Reok spoke again, she seemed slightly alarmed at his comment. After a moments pause she smiled a little and nodded.
"I am only able to speak for my husband, whom is rather honorable, despite being rather .. well .. evil in most opinions." she said softly, looking back to he and the other man. "Besides, if he did anything that was not expected, he knows I would be most displeased and would act accordingly."

The adrenaline running through his veins caused Senstren mind to begin racing, pulling forth more and more symbols into being. With the final master mark, Senstren released the spell. Pure white flames erupted into existence, covering Senstren's entire body, flooding the landscape with nearly unbearable heat and painful doses of light, bleaching much of the nearby wildlife. Senstren pulsed more energy into the attack, causing the flames to reach higher, and slowly widening, threatening to engulf Yawgmoth. Heat resistant or not, this much raw energy would hurt.

A twinge pulsed through Yawgmoth's senses. His skin began to crawl, light energy always gave him goosebumps as a fore warning that something bad was about to happen. "Shadowfury" he commanded closing his fist as the energy exploded from Senstren. The shadowfury spell caused the infused energy in the tentacle to overload and explode in a mass of darkness. The purpose? It was quite simple, to buy time. The explosions of dark and light would cancel each other out slightly and Yawgmoth was immune to his own dark magics. This should shield him just long enough to get out of reach of the spell. This wouldn't do any damage to Senstren unfortunately, his powerful light energy would devour the shadowfury's magic before it could cause damage there was no doubt about that. The shadowfury spell's power was directly related to how much darkness was used, that tentacle wasn't a lot. The titan used the opportunity to get the hell out of the way and bolted in the direction opposite the spell's epicenter, his leg muscles denting the ground with each strong shove of his feet that gave him surprising speed for a man his size.

For a moment the flames disappeared underneath the cloak of darkness. Mere seconds later, the flames blasted through and once again illuminated the cliff side. This lasted for about five more seconds before the fire died down, revealing Senstren on his knees, shoulders slumped, head bowed, smoke rising from his arms and back. The choker around his neck radiated a strange blue light, pulsing slowly. The necromancer slowly lifted one foot, and then the other, standing painfully, multiple ribs cracked or broken from the pummeling that he had taken seconds before. He looked down at the scythe, which had split in half at some point during the blast, for a good amount of time. Finally, he looked up, gazing directly at his opponent, eyes shining with master marks. "That hurt." He said flatly, pulling in what Free Magic energy he had left and raising his hand, palm up, fingers spread apart.

Reok squeezed his eyes shut and forced out a small half dome of his own energy to try and counteract the magic. Both he and Ziven were a good distance away and Yawgmoth's counter had reduced the spell's potency it seemed but precuations seemed necessary. Not entirly unintentional was the fact that the dome covered both Reok and Ziven as he wasn't sure what her meathods of defense were and he had forgotten her seeming ability to teleport. It was no question that this was a spell a bit beyond Reok's blocking ability and a good portion of heat got through. Let me help, weakling. said the voice as it seemed to slightly override Reok's body and powers. His eyes were open to slightly now and his iris seemed to have changed almost to red as his shield was reinforced by a second wave of energy output. When the spell had died down Reok sort of slumped over with his head on his duffle bag, not quite laying down but not quite sitting up either. Damn, if you would only learn to look after yourself from time to time. The voice said almost audible to the outside world now that Reok's mind wasn't interfearing.
The voice wasn't sure why he had helped Reok. He supposed it was his fear of what might actually happen if Reok were to die. Would he still exsist? Would he even want to still exsist without someone to talk too? Could he find a new host? Or would he forever remain in Reok's head?

The Titan stopped in his tracks as the flames died down and looked back over his shoulder as the necromancer stood on shaky legs and held up his palm as if he were ready to cast another spell. "We must admit you almost caught us by surprise. You should quit while you're ahead." Yawgmoth called out turning to face him. His arm too now outstretched and pointing at Senstren. Red lightning began to crackle along his arms starting at his shoulders.

The lightning gathered into a small purple orb that was about the size of a golf ball to start but steadily grew until it was about the size of a basketball the red lightning orbiting it. "We'll let you in on a little secret. Our Darkness doesn't not explode. It implodes. This is to say, rather than cause damage by excessive concussive force it eats away at matter causing it break down and collapse upon itself like an acid of sorts. You're in no state to run." he called out calmly. "If you fire a spell, we fire this. We think, we could get away unscathed or with minimal damage. However, in your condition you probably won't escape. You will die. Our agreement was not to kill you. We think our fight is over." he called "End it. Or We will."

Before she realized she would want to be moving, her tea disappeared. Now moving her arms, pulling her cloak and skirt out from under her feet so she could stand freely, was just long enough to give her the signal that someone else was doing something. Sensing the barrier immediately as it was being conjured, she halted her movements, not knowing which sort it may be and the consequences if she were to touch it. A wave of pride washed over her, she looked to Reok asking; "You are able to conjure a barrier also? .. Reok ..?" she asked softly. Realizing that he was weakened, her expression returned to stern concern. Touching his shoulder gently, she asked in a kinder tone. "Are you ill?"

However, hearing and seeing what was happening between the two out on the field, she frowned a little. "My apologies newcomer, I must see to this fight." she said softly again. With a small pop, she disappeared, reappearing next her husband. She did not say anything, she merely looked up at her love for a moment before looking out to his opponent, tilting her head slightly. Though her mere presence would likely be enough to get them both to realize their spar was in the process of going too far, she would speak and she would act if they did not stop in this moment.

Senstren stood still for a moment, small blue sparks flying between his fingers, debating whether or not to attempt to counter the attack. After a few tense seconds, he sighed, and lowered his hand, allowing the energy to disperse. "I know how cliche this must sound, but although you win this time, when we next meet in battle, you will not escape so unscathed." He said, attempting to return to an emotionless face, but ending up with more of a grimace.

Yawgmoth closed his hands and the energy dispersed with no more crackling sound. He lowered his arm. "We don't care how cliche it sounds. We look forward to such challenges. We hope, your words maintain true. If you were to mark us further than a burn across our back it would mean the fight was fun. There hasn't been a real challenge for us since Aliator. We hope you change that sorcerer." he smirked.

His smirk however faded as Ziven appeared and he turned to her with an angry expression and let her know point blank how he felt about her almost interfering in his fights. She knew he hated anyone interrupting. "You do realize, if you were any other woman we would kill you where you stand right?" he said sternly. "Do not disgrace us again." he pointed his finger at her and then walked over picking up his shirt, dusting it off and then sliding it around his shoulders. For as much he loved that woman she certainly never seemed to learn when it came to combat.

"Then I guess I will take my leave until our next battle." Senstren raised his hand, palm down, causing the scythe pieces to elevate into his grasp. He did not remove his gaze from Yawgmoth, though he wanted to mourn the loss of his beloved weapon. Pulling the remaining energy from the tool, a smaller circle of white flames sprung up around him. "Farewell Lord Yawgmoth." He turned to the woman at his side and bowed slightly. "Madam." He felt like he had seen her before, possibly in the main room of Angel's establishment, but he couldn't connect a name to the face, at least not right now. He turned to the newcomer and gave him a similar short bow. "Sir. I trust this encounter hasn't scared you away from the Red Dragon Syndicate." With that, he snapped his fingers of his left hand, and the flames rose and fell, leaving no trace other than burn marks and bone splinters that Senstren had been there.
