"The boys call me Zero." He smirked at the man's strong shake, and gestured back at the other man with his free hand. "An' this here is Yuu. He don't talk too much--" Zero clapped Yuu on the shoulder, sending the smaller man stumbling slightly. Yuu sent a seething gaze up at Zero, straightening and tugging his garments straight again.
The two seemed to make a up a cliche brains and brawn combination. Zero towered over the two men in his presence, but he seemed friendly enough... like an overgrown teddy bear, and just about as hairy. Yuu was smaller, with squared shoulders, a straight mouth and a taunt face.
"Least ye know yer way about a ship," Zero commented, looking over Zev's work. He then shrugged. "Ye must've been desperate fer work to come under the Lady Captain's command..."
"Zero," Yuu warned, nodding to Lmai across the deck. She seemed oblivious to their conversation, however and Zero waved dismissively.

: Zev smirked and took his hand back. "Nice to meet you Zero, and Yuu." He nodded. He cleared his throat and listened to him.
"Actually it's how I get around. I pick a ship and climb aboard. Done it ever since I parents left me port when I was a lad." He shrugged and looked at Lmai when Zero mentioned. "Now I was so much desperate for work. As I was desperate for a sanctuary more or less. See..." He paused for a moment.
He started up again with smile, "I stole a bit of a wager that was on the table when I had been dealt a bad hand. So I figured only right thing was to let me have the money since I was cheated right? Well I thought wrong and well Miss Lmai there," He thumbed over his shoulder at her. "Let me hide on board. So I'm doing this for free till we get to port unless you she feels I need to stay aboard."

Zero listened to him, then laughed loudly. "So YER the lil sinner. Those blokes tore the damned town apart tryin' t'find yer a**." He laughed again, elbowing Yuu in the ribs. "They were beyond pissed. Yer lucky the Lady didn't turn ye over't the port guard then an' there."
"ZERO." Lmai's voice carried easily over the deck. Zero snapped straight at the bark. Yuu seemed to almost grin, as if he wanted to say "I told you so..." "Why aren't you down below making sure our cargo is secured properly?!"
"Aye, Ma'am." He shrugged down at Zev. "I'll see ye later boy." And he shuffled off below deck, with Yuu in tow. Lmai walked over to him.
"Making friends already, I see," she commented, smirking.

: Zev smirked and held back a laugh at his comment. Then barely held, but he did, when Lmai spoke to them.
"Yeah I suppose." He said as he watched the two head below to secure the cargo. He turned back to Lmai trying to peace his words together correctly.
"Lmai," He started, "remember that I promised to be outta your hair when we make it to the next port. Unless you feel I'm suitable for another job or so." He smirked and added, "but that'll cost ye."
He chuckled making it hard to know if he was joking or serious.

Lmai had her hands on her hips, making sure Zero and Yuu got to their work. She glanced over at Zev when he laughed, grinning a bit herself. "Oh really, now? Well, ye'll just have to show me what ye got."
(Might be the last time I'm on for a while. This weekend, between Comic Con and finally setting out toward Louisiana, things are gonna be pretty hectic. Much love to everyone.)

Bell paced frustraedly across the deck. With a good tail wind and favorible tide, they were makeing head way but still there was no sign of a mast on the clouded and distant horizon.

The fog on the night was so thick that someone could have cut it with a knife. There was a faint orange glow coming from within the shroud. It was a large faint glow. Inside the shroud was a ship burning, still easily afloat. The men moving around on the ship would try to make sure that it would stay that way until they were finished. The men on the ship that weren't moving on the deck, wouldn't.
There was another ship floating right beside the burning ship. This ship had dark sails. On the sails, there was a winged skull. The wings looked like angels wings. Crossing the skull were scythes. At the helm, stood Azreal. He was looking over the work going on on the other ship. They were almost finished.
As the last man crossed over, hauling a chest away to below decks, the gangplank was pulled back aboard, the ropes were cut, and they let the ship float into the sea. A moment later, the boat sank.
The Angel of Death sailed away from what was left of the ship. It exited the fog as the new morning dawned. Azreal looked into it and smiled a humorless smile. One that usually said that someone was fixing to never smile again.
