Alicia Mary watched him puzzling over the orange and smiled to herself eating hers slowly. "Mine is Alicia Mary." She said after a while, not sure if he even cared. She yawned a bit reviewing her recent past and staring up into the starless sky. There were tiny dots of light but far fainter than stars. It felt... lonely out here, she was secretly glad of the company, not matter how odd...

Klaus just layed back on his cot and yawned a bit as he started to reprocess events. The arm was starting to get uncomfortable, just for being cold and metallic. He sighs and starts thinking of what he had to do the next time he woke, which he was working out several ideas, such as going up higher to see if they could spot a larger island. This idea was tried before, and it only ended with him finding a large island. To bad he couldn't' remember how to get back there. He lets out a sigh at his incompetence at making a viable map, though objects shifted and moved, so landmarks were hard to remember.

Alicia Mary hummed softly to herself and moved so she was sitting with her back to the railing. She knew it wasn't wise to sleep at a time like this but she really didn't care. The universe had been turned inside out and sideways. She was just lucky to be alive... She pulled her jacket close around her and moved her bag so it was in her lap, cuddling it a bit for warmth and pulling her metal arm in against her. Metal conducted heat far too well, she got terribly cold if she didn't insulate the arm. She didn't dare use any of her stored electricity to heat it, she didn't know when she'd next be able to charge it...
Her mind drifted falling asleep as she shivered a bit.

After she fell asleep, he went over and put the blanket he was laying over her he sighs and rubs his head, keeping the pillow for himself. Since she was asleep, he went open his box, unhooking that arm, he put the normal looking one back on, and it locked in place as he layed back. This one was made to be insulated as well as feel like a real limb, with no outward signs of being false. It didn't even make any noises like the rest, being a perfected item. he closes his pack, hiding the rest as he layed down on the front part of his dingy once more, just staring up.

She stirred slightly as he came over but did not waken. She did not sleep soundly that 'night', nightmares flitting through her mind like bits of shrapnel. She woke after only a few hours and shivered, noticing the blanket almost immediately and looking around a bit confused as she remembered what had happened.

Klaus woke up a little earlier then here, used to having short naps instead of a long sleep, due to the probability of someone trying to steal his stuff. There may or may not be people after him, but he was still quite paranoid. Klaus had just finished his portion of a can of beans, leaving it out for her in the same manner as the day before, a second spoon in the portions he didn't eat. He goes sit on the front of the ship, staring out, wondering where to turn.

Alicia Mary looked over at him for a while then folded the blanket up slowly and putting it where he had taken it from. She stared at the half orange for a moment and blinked focusing a bit. After a little while it was a whole orange. That would be fun to see him wonder over... if he noticed...
She picked up the can of beans and the spoon rubbing her arm to warm it up again then eating slowly. "Where are we headed?" She asked softly.

Klaus just relaxes then gets up, stretching out a bit. He goes to the wheel, pulling back, making the ship suddenly pull up towards nothing in particular. When she questions about heading. "Its anyone's guess. Unfortunately, due to some kind of force, the rocks and islands move around, making it impossible to draw out a detailed map." Klaus explains as he yawns a bit. "I tried building a life detector, but The rocks emit a low level life reading that messed it up." He says with a low sigh. After elevating for a while, he swings it in a random direction, the ship just puffing along slowly. "Better find some island soon, the need more water and fuel if they have any.." He says as he grabs a cup, pouring water in it, sipping from it then setting it down in front of her as he goes sit at the back of the vessel, leaning against the guard rail.

Alicia Mary swayed at the sudden change in direction and grabbed the railing before she fell. "Can't you warn me before you do that?" She complained and shivered a bit finishing her food. She looked around then back at him. "How... can you detect life?" She asked puzzled. She had never heard of such a thing.

Klaus looked at her. "Why should I warn you?" He asks as he sits there, closing his eyes. He moves both his arms behind his head, his left one looking now like a regular flesh and blood arm. He yawns a bit and just relaxes, staring out into the nothingness, trying to figure out where something is. "Well, Life gives off a special electrical-signal. If build a device that detects these low wave electronics, it can pick up living creatures. But as I said, the rocks give out a similar field with no way around fixing it." Klaus says as he lays there

"Because I'm not very good at compensating..." She grumbled and shivered giving his arms an intent stare. She frowned. But last night... "Ah... I see... You can... you have different arms?"
PostPosted: Sun May 23, 2010 9:45 pm

"Hm? What do you mean?" Klaus teases. It seemed she noticed, but he didn't mind. The little ship shrugs along taking its time as there wasn't much else to do this morning. He perked up, seeing a small island in the distance, though he doesn't tell her yet. The only reason he saw was due to his goggles acting as binoculars. "So, did you bring any provisions?"

"You have a brain, what do you think I mean?" She asked slightly annoyed. His next question caught her off balance. "I... have some jerky and potatoes... and a few foods you probably wouldn't recognize... not much though..." She said slowly.
PostPosted: Sun May 23, 2010 10:18 pm

"Ah. Okay." He says about the food. He uses his foot and turns the will softly so the start heading towards it. He notices a familiar mark on the island and sighs. He had been here before. There was nothing but a small patch of forest and some water, which will do them some good. Klaus turns his attentions back on Alicia. He smiles at her. "What both arms are normal are they not?" He asks teasing her once more.

Her eyes went to the island, ears pricking forward slightly. "Hm?" She looked back over at him and hesitated. "No, not quite." She said eyes going to his left arm. "They just look normal..." Though she had to admit, she couldn't even hear the inner workings of his current arm. Maybe if she was closer she could but... it was so silent... and moved so naturally... but... not quite. There was a faint mechanicalness to its movements if you looked really hard and knew what you were looking for. Then again... that could just be stiffness... right? No no no... stop being silly... she had seen it before when it was different. She couldnt go doubting herself on this, she had to trust her memory and senses at least.
