Goldlily wikkedwitch Nathanael Nevermore I understand. Before starting Crosshaven, I looked for an RP for ages, and every time I found one that was literate, it was inhospitable. There are adults on Gaia, and mature teens, they're just in the minority. I'm sorry about your sour experiences. They can turn a person off to Gaia completely. I've had a few myself, to the point that I don't roleplay on Gaia at all outside of the guild. I feel lucky for being among so many good RPers in this guild. I think that will be made even moreso by having the two of you with us. Oh you're so kind! heart Matter of fact, everyone is kind on here and it makes me feel all warm and spongey inside... not sure if that is 'good', but it does! xd Me and the Amalla-meister, here, we're good friends in Real Life. RPing together will be interesting, I can guarantee it. Although... this time, the difference in our characters might not let us bounce off the walls, destroy things, get drunk and all those other fun things it takes to run the old Inn. Needless to say...she is one of the people you DO NOT want to run into.Ha! Speaking of which..you wench! Anyway, i just wanted to post and say that you take the time to read other posts...even if you are not interested. Some events may affect the whole Crosshaven world...so pay attention to the antagonists!! the Sushi thread is one enemy(Kalamari Ten tickles)...so is Labyrinth of shadows as stated above. Hollow is a b*****d most of the time--and I don't care how cute he is being with that little girl! He will kill you if ordered or just for the hell of it--watch your step around him. River is a dark character with unstable mood swings....Brother Cameron may be a priest, but he has issues (See church of all saints...page three and on.) Cross of life and Death is a subtle enemy...you don't know what he is up too, but he is even more powerful that Elenca and a hundred times older.... anyway, that is some background on the baddies...I also have not mentioned the crow guy, and the man who just tried to kill Colon on the hospital thread. Hopefully, uh, this information is not too intimadating...but I thought I might sum things up for you. ~Fauntine

I did look into the "Labyrinth of Shadows"--very very VERY well written/played out/creepy--so I sort of know what's going on. I dont want to get into too much detail about Lucretia--I want everyone to ask HER about herself, not me. But I can say this--her ability (singular: ABILITY) is spiritual, not magical. But I have said too much already!! AHHHHHhhhhhhhhh!!! *Runs off a cliff into the "You've-Spilled-The-Beans Meat Grinder" and DIES.* ...I really didnt want to say that. *Cries and goes to sleep.*

yes definitely...hm...i can't think of any other hairstyles he's ever had except for the green, red, light brown splotch with his longer hair, short white hair, and his long length of black hair, his short black hair, and his medium length of black hair. wow he has had a lot of hairstyles.......same with frankie (: ...mikey had a pretty big change with his hair, bob i don't know other then long blondish, short blondish, and where his hair hangs over his face........heheheee ray don't even get me started......AFRO AFRO AFRO!!

I won't...but you should also know that no one can outright kill you. There has to be a death match announced, and both parties have to agree. Any other time you can be injured...and badly, but not killed without consent. (doesn't sound right somehow..."without consent?"...lol)

I definately know how you feel! One of my guilds has an issue with activeness and literacy-but I stay on because of my friend there--it's fun with her!!! And we're the only ones that really RP-so I don't deal with too much trouble!
Anyways, even with the now pointed out dangers of Crosshaven-I must be oblivious-it's really fun!( sweatdrop I think that's been pointed out already.)
(and, I can't believe that many 'bad guys' popped out of nowhere(or at least it seems that way)-I mean, I know about Goldlily and Kalamari--but that's it... sweatdrop ...)

The Pale Girl (she really has no name, she's only given aliases so far) isn't really one to kill randomly. She and her... business partner?... are really only after three people, and that's because they're being paid an ankle-wobblingly large sum of wealth to do so by parties undisclosed.
She might rough somebody up if she gets a bit of a whim to do so though. twisted

WEll the aubrey guy did kinda pop out of nowhere...but as for the others...it was a slower process. You really don't know what Cross of life and Death is up too, nor the Kalamari (aka pale girl) chickie. River is not evil...she is just complex I think...as well as BRother Cameron and Elenca...all of which are extremely complex characters with distinct personalities. Elenca has chilled a bit, but you never know when she might get all nasty again. Anyway....jsut wanted to point out that they all didn't appear out of thin air... sweatdrop

stare I've been, well, reading snippets of stories--so I haven't seen all the developmental processes going on...like I said, I'm oblivious...just realized the whole bad guy list had expanded past my knowledge, and pointed that out...which, is sad because it means I'm not paying a whole lot of attention to the events in Crosshaven...
--and I must be reading the posts without all the antagonists-(in my viewpoint)--cause I haven't even heard of some of the guys listed sweatdrop

Don't fret!! There will be a list out shortly that will let you know everything that is going on in the threads in summary more with frequent updates. You will be able to know all about the meanies and heroes running around that you may have missed then. So no worries. Although as far as I know, Elenca is one of the best known since she made her debut in the first annual mixer in Crosshaven so all that where there at lest know about her. As for the others unless your character has interacted or come upon them for some reason your character is not supposed to know they are running around until they do come across them.
Anyways, I have stopped rping outside of the guild completely because of the things mentioned here. Everyone here shares the love for RPing and I think that is what makes Crosshaven great and fun!

Nobody needs to worry about Heather Go/Hergo, though. She's just a radio Deejay/Radio Station Manager. She just has a good heart. She was offered a super hero gig in Go City, but without an adaquate answer to the question: "What's in it for me?" she turned it down. The guy in charge of the hero team was hopelessly autristic, but with a HUGE ego.

Hey, witch-y, I'm just hijacking your thread to say that I agree about not RPing outside the guild. Once I get a little more involved, I'll probably quit the few other threads I'm in, because wow, all the literate people are here. Yay!
Also, if you play with me at some point, please bear with my style--I like to go into useless (descriptive/background) information a lot. I try to trim that down before I post, but still. I'm all excited about my character, even though she hasn't done much of anything at this point. sweatdrop

You can start a new RP thread at any time, and a lot of players have their own. It can represent a place, or a storyline...
And if you want, I will work you into some ongoing storylines... just PM me and let me know what kinds of things you like to play.
I'll initiate plot... and get you involved.
