What about the whole Kuthian thing? I think its either at Helgrind or the dwarven name for the Beors, since Otik said their true name was a secret to all races 'cept dwarves.

As many of you may know the book Eragon is being made into a movie, which is slated to come out later this year maybe early next year. I hope it's good, for the books certainly were. anyone else excited about this?

He was an ok writer I thought but his ideas were a little cliched. Maybe I'm being too hard on a young writer but I guess I'm juz used to reading from really good writers like Orson Scott Card, George RR Martin, Anne McCaffrey and people like that. Even Brian Jacques was an awsome writer even though, like Paolini, he wrote for a younger audience.

that reminds me, I've been thinking of reading Tolkien's The Sulmarilion (I think that's how it's spelled) I was wondering if anyone knew if it was any good?

i have no idea what your talking about, but I watched Eragon the day after it came out and I personally thought it was really good...I didnt read the book, and there's supposbly many differences between the book and the movie

yeah alot of my friends who read the books are complaining. I didn't get to see it yet..I'll prolly rent it when it comes out on DVD. people say these deagons had feathers and fur???!???
