Red's face crossed with puzzlement as Lykoi pulled her by hand. Her deep blue eyes scanning the area as they traveled, she quickly recognized that they where not going away, but going near the girl that he had just said was dangerous. Then finally they stopped, right in front of thorned greenery. Her eyes widen when he wrapped around her tiny frame, and began to crawl with her safely tucked away through it.
Then they got to a spot where they could see out, but no one could see in. She could clearly see the blue haired child, along with.. no, no, no.. That can't be! she recognized his grisly figure, his oily shabby, unkempt hair, unshaven face, but most of all his voice. The voice she hated, the man she despised. Her step father.
As she watched the man yell up to the girl, he knew what he was attempting. He was going to do to that little girl what he had done to her countless times. She closed her eyes, turning her head away from the man. Sure, Lykoi didn't know the woods man was her step father, he didn't even realize that her being this close to him was frightening to the girl. So he wouldn't understand why her body trembled in fear as she listened to the booming voice so far, yet so near. She wanted to speak up, to tell him they needed to get away from here, but she was afraid that if she even as much as breathed he would hear her. That he would come to take her back to hell.
Red was frozen where she hid. She couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't think- not of anything but fear- The teenage girl watched the scene play in her head, the things that the man would try to do to that poor girl. Even if she was not as she seemed, Marcus didn't know that, to him she was just a girl. A beautiful, young, innocent girl. Hopefully Alice would do away with him, or at least scare the man enough he'd give up his pursuit for Red.. Please.. Please... Please go away... He'll try to hurt you!! she wanted to scream, but all she could do was sit there and watch.

She moved as quickly as possible keeping as quiet as she could. As she got deeper into the woods her entire body ached with the same chill as before, and she wasn't liking that. "Red...please Red be okay long enough for Grandma to come and get you...." she whispered to herself as she brushed her hood from her eyes looking around as she walked. Ever since having the thoughts of the axe man, and how her little Red was missing and not at home, nor at her Grandmothers she expected something was wrong. As she continued deeper into the woods she thought she heard the sound of muffled voices. "That voice is too deep to be Reds" she thought as she slowly snuck around branches and tree trunks hoping to see who was talking. Finally she saw him, a tall man who didn't seem to care about his personal hygiene looking upward into a tree. From where she was standing she couldn't see what he was looking at but right away she remembered who it was. "If it isn't that nasty woods man my daughter thinks is good enough for her.." she mumbled to herself staying hidden watching him and listening. From the sounds of what she could hear, her stomach was already churning with displeasure and she only wanted to find Red even faster. "Red...where ever you are" she said to herself quietly, almost in a whisper "Grandma's coming to get you sweetie...."

Alice hopped down a branch. She smiled even though she had taken offence to the wolfs harsh words. "Awwwnnn, whats'a matter wolfy, afraid i might break ya girl friend. Im not that cruel you know, i simply had a riddle in mind." She said as she began to giggle in the tree. shortly after the wolf had scrambled off, Alice heard the foot steps as well. He had come out of the wood with an Axe. He had asked Alice if she heard of his daughter. As far as Alice could see, the two looked nothing alike. "Tehe." She giggled in response. "I could come down and i might know a thing or two, but first you must answer..." she said with a smile and a dramatic pause as she twirled her hair, "I twirl an ax, im hefty fine, I wear big boots, just who am I? And of course, I'm eight feet tall with cute sharp teeth, I'm great and fuzzy, and dont eat beef who am I?

Lykoi looked away from the scene, watching the small girl next to him. She was shaking, and her eyes were glued on the man. A strange feeling came over the wolf, and he suddenly had an urge to run over to the man and tear off his face. He got a really bad feeling from the man, and didn't really want to cause the girl anymore grief. " You wanna get out of here? If you tell me how to get to your grandmother's house I'd gladly get you there safely. I still feel guilty ya know..." Lykoi whispered as he set one of his hands of the girl's trembling fingers, trying to be as soothing as possible. It was hard to be comforting when one was a wolf. He waited for a response and turned back to the two talking, never taking his hand off the girl's as he watched Alice talking to the man who would obviously be an assault to all five of his senses.

What is mine, is mine for good reason.. Marcus- The Woods Man...
Marcus licked his lips as he watched as the girl playing with her cobalt hair. He grinned as she spoke of a question to answer, how hard could this be? The girl couldn't be anymore then 10, her mind would be on bunnies and candy. He was prepared for anything she would ask him... or so he thought.
what kind of s**t is this!? he thought at the riddle, he guessed the first one. It had to be him, after all who else was fine and twirled a axe? He thought haughtily. But the second part really got him, he circled his mind endlessly to find the answer, however it never came. What would happen if he didn't answer right? Would she answer him if he asked? What kind of games was this girl playing? I don't have time for childish games! That little b***h can get me locked away if I don't hurry and end her! his anger got the better of him, he sent the axe into the tree with a loud "ARGH!" emitting from his throat.
"The first one is obviously me!" he shouted up, removing his axe from the tree as he racked his brain once again for the second answer. I'm eight feet tall with cute sharp teeth, I'm great and fuzzy, and don't eat beef. Who am I? You have this, how hard could it be.. Eight feet tall, what is eight feet tall.. No idea, cute sharp teeth.. What animal has sharp teeth that are cute? A bunny, it has to be a bunny. The eight feet tall is there to throw me off! That sneaky little devil! he thought to himself, smirking as he gave his second answer, his voice full of triumph, surely he had this.
"The second is a rabbit, you tried to trick me with the eight feet tall part. Now then, come down here and give daddy a kiss!" he said with another chuckle, knowing that the girl was to young to understand the meaning behind his statement. His laugh was sickening, a laugh you heard a group of drunkards give when they saw a woman they wanted to have. A laugh most women found disturbing and creepy. A laugh that he gave all to often, especially around his daughter. He could still feel her hair between his hands from their last encounter. He wondered what this child would feel like beneath his hands.

Red watched as the girl twirled her hair almost provocatively as she quizzed Marcus, the small teenager couldn't watch anymore. It was all to disturbing, to familiar. To think that he looked at her with those same hungry eyes, the more she thought about it, the more she remembered, the more she remembered the harsher her trembling came.
Little Red was so engrossed in her own racing mind she barely even heard Lykoi speak. But feeling his hand take over her tiny one, she felt a soothing calmness come over her. Realizing that it was his hand over her own, she felt her heart flutter a bit, she never had anyone hold her hand in comfort before, it was kind of... nice she thought. But the thought was quickly interrupted by the woods mans laughter. She quickly frowned, twisting her tiny hand in the wolfs hand, squeezing as a answer to his question.
"Get me the hell out of here" she said flatly, turning her head to face him, her blue eyes showing obvious fear in them, revealing a deep dark secret the girl held away from everyone, her mother, grandmother, everyone. She wasn't ready to face the truth yet, wasn't ready to admit she had been a victim of such a thing, not only that but for so long. She felt like if she said anything now it would only make her look bad, when before she was afraid to speak up because she didn't wan to hurt her mother. Marcus was perfect to her mother, he came in at the right time.
Red remembered the day well, her mother brought home this man, he seemed nice at first, he made her mother smile, and it all seemed to go so well! Then he began to show favor towards Red, the more he came over, the more she caught him staring at her. Sneaking around the bathroom to watch her pee, peeking in her window when she dressed. He even came in and used the rest room right in front of her while she bathed! She remembered that day well, he kept asking her to uncover herself, let him see.. But she never did, she wouldn't allow him to view her in a way only a special person could do. That was the first day she really missed her father. And every day since, she had wanted nothing but to get away from that man. To leave and never come back..

Lykoi felt the girl's hand grab his own, and he smiled toothily. It was nice to know someone didn't completely loath his existence. He noticed how Red reacted towards the man's laughter, and he wasn't at all comforted by it. This is a lot deeper than shes going to let on... He thought to himself as he prepared to get the girl away from the Woodsman. He was still unsure about Alice. He knew she was fine on her own but still worried that she would enrage to man to a point were he might do something regrettable. He only hoped he was wrong. "Alright, lets go."
Gathering the girl's small frame in his strong arms once again, the wolf pushed out of the brambles and moved with her a bit deeper into the forest, a place he was sure the man wouldn't be able to see them. Then he set her down and instructed her to get on his back. His arms were cut up but the wounds didn't really bother him too much. The sting would soon wear away as the cuts began to heal. All he really wanted to do at the moment was get the girl to her grandmothers. At least there he knew she would have some protection from the terror she knew as her soon to be step-father. Even the idea made bile rise in his throat. He had a feeling the man was not in the relationship for the mother. And this sickened him deeply to a point of were his bushy fur was on end once more. Strange how a few hours with the girl and his hair seemed permanently on end. At this he chuckled and prepared to leave with his little ward.

Red was so startled by the Wolfs voice, she nearly gave away their hide-a-way spot when he said it was time to leave, but not giving it another look, the tiny girl quickly nodded, and moved with him to exit the brambles. As he carried her in his arms, she found herself snuggling against him for the trip. She was emotionally exhausted, and ready to find someplace safe to stay. Rather or not that would be her grandmothers she had no idea.
She opened her eyes wide when he sat her down, barely even noticing the trip, did she fall asleep? Wouldn't doubt it... she thought to herself as she looked through the thick branch of trees, strange how the more time she spent with this being, the deeper in the woods she got. If she knew any better, she would of thought he was going to gobble her up just like folklore. A smile crossed her face at this thought, that would be a blessing in disguise.
Upon seeing that he wanted her to get on his back, she hesitated a bit for a second. He was already hurt, and she wasn't light, a full 109 lbs to be exact. But, seeing he had carried her in his arms this far, it would probably be easier for him to carry her on his back. After this assumption, she wrapped her hands around his shoulders, being clear of his neck. After all, she didn't want to choke her hero. The she jumped on his back, wrapping her legs loosely around his waist. "Way to make things awkward." she muffled to herself, feeling her face turn scarlet at the current situation.
"Thank you.. Lykoi.. Not just for keeping me alive this long, but not making me stay to watch what my sicko step father would do to that little girl... If she had any idea what kind of man he was, she would not be toying with him. ." she knew that she would owe the wolf a explanation about the history she had with that man. She was already sure the wolf knew they lived together, this was his forest after all.. So, surely everything that happend didn't go unnoticed.
Red layed her head on the Wolfs back, trying to keep her expression the same, remote, she didn't want to let him know, the world know, that she was hurting on the inside. She was scared, terrified, and didn't know what to do next. She needed to check on her grandmother, the poor woman was counting on her for food... At that, she looked at the wicker basket that was attached to her arm, sighing. The food was now cold, and most likely not any good anymore. When she got some place to properly dispose of the contents, she would do just that. She knew how Lykoi felt about the forest, and didn't want to do anything to farther upset the wolf.. She was growing fond of him, strangely enough. (I'm always a paragraph short!)

The girl's weight was barely noticed, and Lykoi smiled at the way she wiggled herself into position. Humans were strange and funny creatures, and he was beginning to see their potential for good. After Red settled into place, he began to run. It was no mere dash as well, Lykoi was proud that he moved like a human lighting bolt. He knew full well that Alice would eventually catch up to them when she was finished playing with the woodsman, and he wanted to make sure to put some space between them so that when she did arrive she wouldn't be out for blood.
Arms securing the girl's body tightly, the wolf kept his pace, and proceeded to finally ask about the man. "Red, I know you've only known me a few hours, but I'm pretty sure I've figured that vile human out....Did he hurt you badly?" Lykoi knew that in some way or another, preferably not the way he was thinking, that disgraceful human had done the girl wrong. And he was NOT okay with it.
Lykoi watched the forest zoom by as if everything was on fast forward. The sun was starting to sink, and the gloom or the forest was slowly moving in on the pair. The wolf didn't like the thought of being out in the open at night, and wanted to get as far as they could without having to worry. It would be best to stop somewhere and stay the night. He knew the girl's grandmother's house would have been only a few hours away for her, but because of their detour he was sure it would take a while longer than she had expected. And for some reason or another his heart went out to the child's grandmother, who was probably alone and heart sick for her little one. He knew that he would be.
Smiling, the wolf pushed his thoughts to the edge of his consciousness and kept on running. He knew of the perfect little place they could stay. It wasn't much, but it was home. He hoped the girl wouldn't be too uncomfortable with the thought of staying in his den. Lykoi decided if need be he would sit outside for the night and let her rest. It had been a very rough day for her.

Alice laughed openly happily at the mans failing to figure her riddle. As her laughed grew louder, it changed to giggling and to a maniacal laugh that then returned to her sweet little girl laugh. She understood the mans words and his intention and was unphased by the axe, but rather it stimulated her. She wanted him to be wrong so bad. "Too bad, so sad. It was a bear with lots of hair!" She shouted in a mockingly cute laugh as she pulled out her wand from her hat, which was slightly bigger than the hat itself. She waved it in the air with giggles emitting from her person as she held her bunny tight with her opposite hand. As she did so, a bear began to a bear behind the man. The bear looked around angry and confused before spotting the woods man and making a full on charge. The man must of missed that this tree had sap and a beehive filled with honey in it, which Alice first intended to use on the wolf. The sap was on his axe and a bit of honey had landed on his shoulder and boot.((sorry if im godmodding anything))

When Lykoi began to run at a 'dash' Red's arms tightened around his shoulders, her face baring into his back, her eyes even closing tight. It was strange for her, to be on this mans back, while he ran.. He was rather fast of someone who looked so human, it actually shocked the teen a bit. However, all that was set aside when he asked her about her step father.. The one question she wasn't looking forward too..
Time seemed to stop in her mind, even though she could still feel the air around her move, it was slow, cold-freezing- really. Everything went by her so slowly, that she felt like she was standing still as she reoccur the memories in her head. The things that had happened to her on numerous occasions. She couldn't handle this, why did he have to come home so soon!? She was just starting to get over all that, and she was going to speak to her grandmother about living with her soon. She was fifteen years old, going on sixteen in a few months.
"You could say that.. I guess.." she answered in a icy voice, it wasn't full of spite, or anger, just cold.. She hated being reminded that she was dirty now. Or at least that is what he would countless tell her. He never took her innocence away, but he did get damn close. Her eyes darken as she watched the ground, falling into her memories. "Hopefully Alice knows to defend herself.. I was her size when he moved in." she was actually a little younger, about six when the man started coming around, eight when he began to show interest in her. And of course, her mother was oblivious to it all, thought it was just because he was someone other then her father.
"Lykoi.. Do you think Alice will be okay? " she asked, obvious concern in her voice. She didn't want anything to happen to the girl, no matter how cruel and unusual she was. She sighed, laying her head against his back, looking sideways, watching the trees pass her by, noticing the sun was setting once again. Day two, lost in the woods. How lovely.

As she listened to the words of what she thought was a small child and that of the axe man her eyes scanned the forest best she could. "I curse the day when I started growing old" she mumbled to herself as she moved around to a closer tree truck so she could see. She had thought she had seen a small glimpse of red move in the thorns on the other side but had tossed the thought away blaming her old weary mind. "Its my mind playing tricks, and all because my hope for finding my grand daughter is so strong" she said to herself trying hard to ignore the chest pains that had started to grow in her chest. When she finally moved closer she saw a small girl, then heard the laughter that made her spine shudder with displeasure. The laughter was like something from a horror movie one would watch in the dark, and she didn't like it one bit. Her stomach churned even more as she saw the axe man laugh, then grow angry at her and throw the axe towards the tree. She didn't like the way he was behaving, and hoped to god Red didn't deal with such a thing. As she continued to watch the pains got worse in her chest and she continued to stop herself from coughing. She would have to go back soon or die on the forest floor without ever seeing her little girl again. Then she heard the words from him, and she nearly fainted from the illness that crashed into her. "Come give daddy a kiss..." is all she heard, and she knew that tone all too well to have taken it in the way he was trying to make it sound. She watched horrified that her daughter had planned on marry this....this.....she couldn't even think of a word to describe him she was in so much shock. "I'd love to help her, but I seriously must get back to the house before I collapse" she thought to herself still watching. Only then did her eyes widen as the girl made a bear appear, and watched as it started attacking the man. "Good girl.." was all she could say before she turned around and began to rush for home hoping she might find Red on the way.

Lykoi slowed a little, listening to the sound of the girl's voice as if she had spit ice all over his back. For one strange reason or another, one of Lykoi's hands reached for one of the girl's on his shoulder, touching it softly to show he understood. It was painful to talk about and he knew that memories like that were better left alone. " Trust me...Alice is no weakling. Shes a lot older than she appears. And a lot stronger. That girl is scary." He said playfully. Dropping his hand back down, he sped back up, heading full speed towards his home.
When the pair finally arrived, it was dusk, and the sun was preparing to set. Lykoi slowed himself to a mere walk, the girl still clinging to his back like she was going to die. Little did she know that he was one of the least aggressive or hostile creatures in those woods. His cave was small, but comfortable. Setting her down, the wolf pointed to the cavern and smiled widely. " Welcome to my home sweet home, I know its not much, but hey, its all I need. Your welcome to stay in the den, I'll make up a fire so we stay warm and lit up." He said happily. It had been years since he'd had decent company, and he was really excited about it. He was giddy as a pup, moving quickly and excitedly around Red as he gathered up sticks and looked for herbs to make her a soup out of. Then he realized how much of an idiot he was being. Stopping, and taking a deep breath, Lykoi turned back to the girl. "If thats what you want Red. If so, I'll stay outside and keep watch over you." He said softly as he dropped the logs he had gathered up near to opening of his cavern. All he wanted was to keep the girl as unstressed and happy as possible out in the darkening woods.

Red felt a smile of reassurance come across her face, the girl did strike her as being 'wise beyond her years' as her grandmother would of stated when she was younger. This actually made Red chuckle a bit to remember how her grandmother use to tell her that one all the time. 'You are wise beyond your years, Red..' she thought to herself.
She looked to the west, watching the sun make a beautiful setting of vibrant colors behind the clouds, that was the one thing she loved about a day ending. The sunsets.. She smiled as she watched the shades fade from one to another. She could almost feel the warmth, taste the sun kiss as she diligently played peek a boo behind the clouds, getting ready for bed. "Good night. Sunlight" she said in a hush whisper, this was something she had always done, every since she could remember, she always told the sun goodnight. Her grandmother would just laugh, her eyes twinkling like the stars above.
Little Red turned back to the Wolf, looking at the small cave that he had stopped in front of. It was cute, a little shocked, she expected him to of stayed in a house much like her own. Just because he looks more human then Wolf doesn't mean he lives that way. she thought to herself, he was obviously very proud of his home. And she had to admit, for a wolves den, it looked pretty cozy. It looked as if it would keep her safe for the night at least.
Red giggled as she watched Lykoi scrabble about like a chicken with his head cut off, grabbing a branch here, log there. Even a piece of flint rock to start the fire with. She was dizzy watching the young wolf circle around her like a busy bee. He must not receive alot of company she mused to herself, something, anything to keep her mind off the fact her step father was hunting her down like a dog. Hopefully Alice would show him a thing or two about hurting little girls. Hopefully the girl was as strong as Lykoi said.
"You don't have to stay outside. This is your home, I don't want to be a reason for kicking you out. Plus. You've saved my life twice, I seriously doubt you'll do anything out of line.. " she said in her sing song voice. Siting down in front of the Den until she was invited in. She was always told that she shouldn't just walk into someones home unless they are there with you, and they invited you inside. As she watched Lykoi, she removed her hood, then releasing her honey shade hair down from it's bindings. She smiled, watching the sun begin it's last dance.(Yut, check the OOC when you can.)

What is mine, is mine for good reason.. Marcus- The Woods Man...
The woods man turn full circle when he heard wood begin to crash down around him. He knew the sound all to well, after all the woods where his play ground after all. -seeing he made a living destroying it- It was a over sized grisly bear, his maw was covered in a grotesque assortment of blood and flesh from his prey. He even had chunks of him taken out from other predators in the woods.
His eyes where quick to observe the way the bare moved, watching for when the giant beast would go to swat at the man. He quickly gripped his axe, ready for anything the beast had. -or so he thought- Only thing he didn't realize was no one was fully prepared for what a bear would do, they where dangerous and lethal, which is how so many people die from their attacks.
He dubbed away any thoughts he had in his mind, any doubts he contained about the creature, he had this. I can take this! he thought to himself, and as the bear charged at him full force, the axe man took his favorite weapon and sent it flaring into the bears left shoulder. This only angered the bear The bear stopped for a moment, stepped back on his hind legs, and released a loud and terrifying roar. Then he went to use his over sized front paw to slap at the woods man.
The man quickly thought, if the bear hit him, it would knock his head off. He'd seen it twice while he was working. And knowing his luck, it was the same ugly bear. So he ran around the other side of the tree, right as the bears paw went swatting where the mans head once was. He glared up at the child who was laughing as if this was some sort of child's game. Hop scotch or jump rope. It only angered him more. But he didn't have time to think about the little witch above him, he had a much more frightening foe in front of him -or so he thought-
As the bear began to come around one side of the tree, the man quickly dodged around the other side, meeting the bear from behind. He grabbed ahold of the bears fur, pulling himself on the creatures back, and just as quickly as he maneuvered around the tree, he sent the axe into the nape of the bears neck, over and over again, until the beasts head was severed so bad the animal fell to the ground with no more then a loud thud.
