Potions Master Snape Phantom of Manhattan doesn't exist to me. Erik dies. The end.
I did so enjoy all the singing in that movie. And in Sweeney Todd ("Pretty Women" shall forever be one of my favorite songs from there).
So long as you get to it sometime in your lifetime.
And Merry Christmas to you too. Loved that film, it was really gritty and cark and the singing was great, but its so funny how there was so many characters for Harry Potter in that film

*read it before it got popular. Even then, I thought it wasn't the greatest thing on the planet, rather something you read just to kill a bit of time* >>
One of my teachers is an ex-Disney animator. She was the one who put me to sleep, but it was at the end of the class. We watched the first scene in Pinocchio and we did a frame-by-frame analysis of the animation. Also, we learned that Figaro literally goes transparent when he opens the window.
*was the first person to notice this* XP

I finished the series just as it was getting popular. I thought it was okay, but not worth rereading. And I thought the plot was a bit sketchy too. If the series had ended with Edward eating Mary Sue... I mean, Bella and running off with Jacob to make sparkly were/shapeshifter-spawn , I probably would have liked it better. But only a little.
You know, for an ex-Disney animator, you'd think she'd be a little more... Not boring. Interesting. I've never really liked Pinocchio, but I like a lot of the old Disney stuff.

I think making the entire sparkling thing a hunting tactic would automatically make the whole series a lot less retarded. I never got beyond the first book, but I hear Bella and Jacob had a lot better chemistry than Bella and Edward. If so, Meyer should have ran with that. *does, however, know of the half-vampire abomination that Edward ripped out of Bella's womb...*
I have a love/hate relationship with Disney. I like a lot of their older films (after Mulan, the only recent traditionally-animated film I liked was Treasure Planet. I have yet to see The Princess and the Frog, but I heard it was pretty good, so I have faith in that one), and I liked the Disney Channel back when it had class, and wasn't trying to rip off of Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. And then the parks began to turn from "something for everybody" to "let's make EVERYTHING entirely kid-friendly"...not to mention all of the lousy direct-to-video/DVD sequels...
Well, it was only boring when we watched the scene frame-by-frame literally for like twenty minutes. I know she was trying to show us the timing and subtle changes between scenes, but...up until then it was actually fun.

I think the sparkling was supposed to be a hunting tactic, but seriously, how many people do you know that would be absolutely mesmerized by some dude sparkling like he was made of diamonds? Not many. In fact, I know a lot of people(myself included) would run like hell. I did notice that they never said the others sparkled though, so maybe it's just Edward? And the plot holes that riddled that book were terrible. They had every cliche in the book and still Edward has no defining qualities except his mindless hatred of Jacob and his bloodlust towards Mary Sue. And speaking of Mary Sues, could Meyer have made it more obvious that Bella was just an excuse to write about herself as one? I mean, she based an entire major scene on a DREAM she had. Mulan was totally awesome. I liked some of the Pixar stuff too, like Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo. And that makes more sense...

From what I know, Meyer had a dream about the sparkling scene (a girl and a guy in the meadow and the guy sparkled) and didn't want to forget it. Thus, Twilight was born, and I don't think she put much thought into the sparkling after that. And whether she intended this or not, Bella's so under-developed that it's easy for literally anyone to put themselves into the fantasy, which may be why the series got so popular...that, and the new generations don't seem to read as many books, so it's partially because that's probably literally the first book some of the Twitards picked up for fun...
The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Treasure Planet, and Beauty and the Beast tend to be my highest picks. I really don't like much stuff by Pixar except Monsters, Inc. and the Toy Story movies. *not counting down to June 18, 2010. Nope, not at all*
Yeah. I fell asleep through part of it. I don't think she noticed.

Yeah. I fell asleep through part of it. I don't think she noticed. rolleyes Twilight has got to be the biggest waste of time any writer has ever gone through. I will say that The Host was good, despite my hatred for Meyer as a person. And this is true. One of my friends never read at all, basically, but she picked up Twilight and got HOOKED. Of course, this was after I had finished the series and had realized how terrible it truly was. There are now more Twilight things in Hot Topic than Harry Potter or anything manga/anime related. It's even got an aisle in a half to itself! D: If this doesn't stop soon, I may just have to stop going to Hot Topic and that's gonna suck, because I get a lot of CD's/ Harry Potter merch there. And I'm also considering going to every possible carrier of Twilight books, and moving all the Harry Potter books over them... But not before putting sticky notes on the Twilight books that say 'Snape kills Edward' or something to that effect. XD As for your Disney movie preferences, I have to say that I'm basically in agreement. Though your mention of Toy Story amused me because when I was little, I was terrified of Mr. Potato Head XDDDD On a completely unrelated note, I joined a FaceBook group of Death Eaters, just because I could and in the info they listed it as a religious organization. I laughed really hard at that.

More like Voldemort killed Edward. Robert Pattinson did play Cedric Diggory, after all.
Oh, I forgot The Black Cauldron. That one is so underappreciated.
I have no Facebook. Gaia is addicting enough for me. >> Still, that is pretty funny.
Aside from Toy Story 3 and Deathly Hallows, I am currently counting down to a few other movies coming out this year.
