 Hayate brought in Isabelle and let her pick her seat. The students would soon realize that the questions on the paper were not all on the chapter they were studying, but also on previous lessons from previous chapters. This test that he plans on giving every few months, when they would least expect it, is what made his class the highest in grade average every year. He kept them on their toes and got them in the habit of studying everyday by the time the end of the year came around.
"The two that are new, just answer the questions on the test as best as you can." Hayate glanced at the clock. "Alright, you can begin the test. I don't want to hear any noise, if I see a phone out or notes, I will take them away and an F will be on the grade." he threatened as he walked to his desk. The students also knew full well that it was very hard to pass anything by him, but they haven't figured out why it was so easy for him to catch them either.

Noelle Frost Noelle frowned at Mr Hiruma. That satisfied look as he watched the students working on the tests...Was he deliberately trying to fail them all? But Noelle was determined. She'd never failed a class before and she wasn't going to start now! Grasping her pencil firmly, she started on the first question.

Isabelle nodded slightly and worked. They were things she had learned before so it was most easy. She signed her name and put it on his desk. "F-F-Finished......" She said softly before sitting down. She looked down and played with her hands.

Kiro started on his test calmly and smiled as he took the test being careful, and he also relised a couple of odd questions, but it didn't bug him. He read and watched the special last night so he would be ready.

Hayate nodded and took the paper and put it in a folder, always keeping an eye out for someone who thought they could get passed him. Ah ha, there's one. He stood up and walked over to where Kiro and Noelle sat. However, he took the paper from the student in front of them and took the kids phone away. "You fail this test, Jim." he stated as he walked back to his desk."But-but Mr. Hiruma..!! I was just checking the time!" the guy named Jim explained. Hayate set the phone on his desk and took a red pen and wrote a big F on the paper, then put it in the folder as well. "There is a perfectly good working clock on the wall. I warned you, if I even SEE a phone, you fail. Now be quiet."

Elpe brushed himself off, nodding at the teacher but not moving. He had...no idea where to sit, and he didn't want to take someone's seat by accident. A confusing situation, indeed. So, he stood in place, nervously making moves as if to go and sit, but still staying put. "Uh...where do I..." he began to ask, but stopped.

She sat down. She could see some girls glare. She just wanted a friend, and she always wanted to have a romantic relationship.....But it never happened. No boys talked to her. So she got her sketch pad out and sketched some Shoujo couples.

"The seats are not assigned, just pick one and do the test please." Hayate informed him pleasantly. Oh boy, these guys would definitely be shocked to learn that his 20th birthday was in 2 days, he's the youngest teacher in the school as far as he knew.

Kiro finished his test and realized why his class would be so hard. Some questions would be easy, couple odd balls, then real tough. He handed in his test and sat back down in his seat.

"Oh..uh...alright." he said as he rushed off to sit next to Isabella, giving the girl a small waving gesture as he sat down to take the test. History never was one of his strong suits, but he felt confident enough about the whole thing to..."..Well." he mumbled, completely stumped by the test within thirty seconds of starting it.

Noelle Frost Noelle finished the last question as she watched Mr Hiruma take away Jim's phone. He acted harshly, but Noelle had to agree with him. Jim shouldn't have had his phone out at all. She got to her feet and moved to the front of the class to turn in her test. She felt fairly confident. On the questions she hadn't known, she had just selected the most likely answer. Here's hoping for a B, at least! Jim, who seemed to be sullen about losing his test, stuck his foot out just as Noelle passed him. Noelle tripped and fell, sending her test fluttering out of her hands and her glasses flying. The world became a blur. And was that the sickening crunch of broken glass she'd just heard?

Kiro looked at the kid and waited for what the teacher would do. Kiro could tell that Jim was one of those guys that think there big and bad just because they don't license to there elders.

Hayate saw what Jim did, and by the time Noelle started falling he was already in the isle where she was, easily jumping over the desks, including his own, he caught her with ease before she hit the ground, but he did step on her glasses, which she would've fallen on anyway if he didn't catch her.
He waited till she opened her eyes before he checked to see if she was injured. "Are you alright?" he asked softly, helping her stand upright without tipping over from dizziness.

Noelle Frost Noelle squinted and barely managed to make out Mr Hiruma's face as he helped her stand. "Er, thanks," she said, "You haven't seen my glasses, by any chance, have you?" In order to keep Mr Hiruma's face semi-clear, she leaned closer, still squinting.
