A lot can be said about relativity. (giant blanketing statement)
Today was my mom's birthday (forty-nine). And I surprised her by taking a train up, baking a cake at Megan's house (we hadn't talked for exactly a week, and then she just texted out of the blue), and then hiding out in my own house while my mom was doing a teleconference. It was sick. She had no idea. And I brought her a scarf I made..
The celebration was right out of the blue, she thought we would be celebrating this weekend, we still are, but. It was something fun. So I came home with a cake, we played a card game. Talked. I bragged about my Bejeweled Blitz score, she obsessed about playing Bejeweled. Jolly time, really.

That does sound like a good time. More exciting than recent birthdays I've seen.

Damnit, Stan! You're making it incredibly difficult for me to stalk you! Jeez! All I want is a pair of your underwear to keep under my pillow and you just keep shutting me out! Ugh!

Stan. It's a birthday. Also. ... Wait a second. Is your birthday the same day you have listed as the birthday on Gaia? If so. It was before October 4th, but after August 21st. (I know because I wished you happy birthday on the fourth.)
Anyway, it's cool, keep your secrets, Stan.
May 12th. Gotcha.
Anyway, part of it is just that I like surprising people. I will go out of my way to make something really lame a surprise. Like, any other sane person would be like, "oh and this." And I'm like, "YOU HAVE TO GUESS." Or, "close your eyes!" One of those lame tendencies I have.

It's cute. It shows that you're really dedicated to making someone's birthday memorable.

Dang Jimmy figured it out. Curse my honesty and youth and jazz. pirate
Also, that sounds pretty nice Jimmy. Lame, maybe, maybe not (no offense), but the thought really does count. I think so at least.
