ok i agree with most the point im seeing. however i would like to point out that FF is one of the best RPGs ever made and yes it is a series only because of its success. but look at the success of KH it beat a few of the better FF games cause it attracted gamers of other types as well. this being said they made KH: CoM and are working on KH2. Plus they are still bargining with movie rights for it as well as talking to disney about a tv series. KH is turning into a gaming series and will probably be a big hit for awhile like the FF games. i mean if anyone saw the secret ending to KH it was THE BIGGEST pointer to KH2. showing what looked like 3 Riku's. one with covered eyes, another with deul keyblades, and just a third. but yet at the end of KH:CoM it showed the real Riku heading off with Micky but left the 'fake Riku' or whatever you'd like to call it alone to make his own choices. They keep a hook in there games as a connected series where as FF makes a new game and its not connected except for X-2. so in my oppinion FF being a series really doesnt matter in the case against KH. what im asking is taking in the elements of each game which is better?

Chris_Masters does KH have a movie? does KH have over 10 games in its series? FF is better thats a no brainer rofl rofl you do realize that what you said is exactly like saying "Pokemon is so much more badass than Naruto", right? think about it. Something doesnt have to be worldly renowned to be good. Naruto is unheard of to most americans that i've heard of, yet i see it everywhere and enough (and have even seen a few episodes, manga AND the 4kids dubs, which by the way, were SURPRISINGLY good given the fact that 4kids is horrible when it comes to dubbing anime). You dont need to have a movie based on something to make it badass. and you dont need a whole line of games to make it badass as well. For example, most people have played and enjoy Halo. I personally disagree with that fact. But does that make it better than the Timesplitters series? Timesplitters is mroe hardcore than Halo could ever possibly be, with a bunch of different TIMED attack challenges, enemies you must kill that are hard AND have 1 hit kills when they touch you, and doesnt have a wait time after you die in multiplayer combat. Timesplitters should be better in all respects, but it isnt. It's not exactly that Halo has a better story, it's simply the fact of playability. People like new things. Final Fantasy, (even i am admitting, given the fact that -I- am a pretty hardcore FF fan myself), has gone down the drain a little bit. The games have lost most of their challenge, certain scenarios seem rehashed, and the movie was only something as a teaser and fan-service. Advent Children has a few MAJOR plot holes that dont make any sense when you actually know FF7 well enough to see them. Just because there's a movie and 10 games in the series doesnt exactly make it greater than all new-comers. I found KH MUCH mroe entertaining and loads more challenging than FFX. But with some people (i.e. Chris here) it all boils down to "are you biased?" and "are you a fanboy/fangirl?"

Sakura-Kyoukan my point is Kingdom Hearts was made for last gen consoles and therefore the system it uses is different. Also it's generated tword a "Disney" aka younger age group so the story line is going to be more comedic and less critical Final Fantasy: although their last few games have been fair flops, has had tremendous experiance and can sometimes write a AWESOME story, much better than you will ever find written by disney. Also i hear FFXII is going to be good. But we shall see. i see 3 problems with what you said. 1.) Quote: Final Fantasy: although their last few games have been fair flops, has had tremendous experiance and can sometimes write a AWESOME story It's not guaranteed by any means at all. You've played the games, so you should know. 2.) Quote: much better than you will ever find written by disney hmm, if i remember correctly, didnt it say "Square-Enix" in the opening credits before you could choose to start a new game? 3.) Quote: Also i hear FFXII is going to be good FFXII is going to be based off of a world similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced. I love FFT for the PSX, but i loathe FFTA for the GBA. Tactics advanced pales in comparison to FFT. if you dont believe me, play both games and try it out for yourself. With this in mind, the main thing that i hated that hampered my enjoyment of FFTA, the "judges", are also having a part in FFXII. i'm honestly worrying if it will be as entertaining as some of the previous FF games. if it turns out being a RTS Final Fantasy game that also has those judges in place with the combat, i'm not even going anywhere near that game.

YOU IDIOTS THATS THE POINT OF THE FREAKING POLE ITS TO ADD YOU OPINION AND ACTUALLY PICK WHAT YOU LIKE BETTER. for instance FF7 was good but personally i liked 9 best. ff7 might have been fun but it doesnt mean that it was everyones favorite... it was just really good like these other question people ask. there both good it just depends on what kind of opinion you have.

I like Kingdom Hearts because of the combat system and the fact the cutscenes were shorter than in the other FF games. I didn't like the camera too much, though sweatdrop .
EDIT: KH is much newer than the FF series, so that alone speak volumes about the game, the GBA game, and the upcoming sequal.

Manji-luo no, i think 2 is coming out in janurary. Hmmm...I'm not sure about that...There was a lot of dialogue in the first KH and there's bound to be as much, if not more, in KH2. My point is there's a lot of dialogue, both written and vocal, to be translated from Japanese to English before the game goes Stateside.
