*clears throat*

scream Prepare your optical receptors for the greastest piece of Lyricism I am proud to share with the selected masses!! whee

Happenstance happens to stand in the sand.
Passive as savageness crashes the land;
drastic and massive, it fastens my hand.
Bedazzled I pass it and cast to the bland.

Entities enter my intimate sense.
Pensive I sympathize with present tense.
Sentiments settle in synchronized dance;
hence I embezzle apprentices since.

Errors that mirror the surrogate stares;
careless the terrors that tear us from there.
Shared with the rarest of prayers; I fair,
scarily wary of perilous lairs.

Ever endeavor to sever the bind.
Blind and inside of my effortless mind,
climb til I find that I never inclined.
Shepperd the clever to weather the grind.

Farewell, farewell. The fair, the well,
both tell of tales of hellish hells:
embellished failures, pale and stale,
for as we scale the elders fell.

My friend, I send; I lend thee this:
instead of fending, mend for bliss.
Nor bend, nor blend, nor ever miss,
the pen depended on the wrist.

- Thomas Frisbie

Now if that did nothing to sate your lust for lyrical enlightenment, then this'll do even less... My verses are embedded within if you crave another taste of my essence.

twisted Enjoy. twisted

Intrepid, he crept the cobblestone path
In each rapid step, the hourglass passed
A grain of sand which fell in dance
The frail and bland t'which hell entrance.
The gates of nether: open mawed;
Erased forever in broken fall;
As pacing brethren hope and call;
From safe in heaven's sloping halls.
His tears sink far below his faith
As reapers sow his heart of hate
And mirrors glow in darkness waits
glimmer's flow embarks to sate.
For at what cost, we scorn the dread
In passing, watch the yarns of thread
As absence often warns of shreds
Of what we loss, to mourne the dead.

stare Yeah... Tragically, the hands that crafted that piece of artwork were not connected to mine own arms. gonk I was simply the "inspiration" behind the melody. stare Or something to that effect. blaugh Eitherway, I take comfort in knowing you enjoyed it. 4laugh

@ Az - You weren't kidding when you said it was long : p
But wow, it shows you spent time on it and its beautiful all of it mainly the first half really made me think of whats going on in the world today and the towards the end, what we all are fighting for, our own version of perfection.

My opinion anyway smile

How do you know you have not read my words!
-scratches head-
Wait those are my words....you just read them....
You have not read my poetry!
Much better
-glares with a false sense of anger-

I have actually had some of my poems published.
I still do not think they are any good though.
