Viktor blinked upon hearing his name and glanced over to see Sariel. Viktor nodded briskly, knowing it was an order. Many didn't simply understand the man, but Viktor did. Somewhat. At least he thought so. "I took some time and thought on who to obtain for my first summon Sabriel." He said moving again in the line.

"I decided to get the one they call 'Ifrit' as I think it was either you or Fianna that said I had a fiery temper. I thought it would fit nicely. A sort of inside joke." He said with a sly grin.

User Image Lillian nodded, knowing he had used it as an excuse. She didn't really express any interest in wanting to see them before that after all. "I think we need to catch up. It's been far too long," she answered, smiling back. Though the white mage wouldn't mind meeting the others, she had come out to the stadium to find him.

"So...let's talk," she said, looking around a bit. "I'm not sure where would be a good place for that in here though."

User Image Sariel nodded, looking to his companion. "Ifrit would be a good choice," he responded, offering the al bhed/guado a grin in response. "And I believe that was Fiana that mentioned it."

He stepped forward as the line progressed, his hand on the hilt of his sheathed katana. Fighting an aeon at all, even to obtain one, was good practice for killing a summoner if he or she managed to summon one. And having their own summoner would be also good for giving their enemy a taste of their own medicine, so to speak.

"You're just as capable as the others to be a summoner, Viktor. Perhaps, even more so."

Viktor smiled. Sariel always knew what to say to inspire the ogre looking man. "Indeed. For not many would think a Summoner could fight in close combat. I can see the surprised looks upon their faces." He chuckled a little.

"But I owe all I have been taught to you Sariel. And of course to Fianna." Viktor sort of owed them his life. They were kind to him when others weren't. They helped mold him into the man he was today.

"Together, the three of us, we are an unstoppable force." Viktor was nearly there. Only a few more were left ahead of him. The moment of truth was coming. But Viktor knew that this day he would not fail as many would hope he would.

Bahamut looked around "Hmm...this way," and again the man took Lillian's hand and led her down a few doors past the Player's Lounge. After a home game or practice, the boys tend to hang out there to relax so he knew that wasn't the best place for them to have for themselves.

They stopped at the entrance to the coach's office, indicated by an engraved bronze placard. Bahamut reached for the doorknob with his other hand and jingled it then muttered a curse to himself for finding it locked.

He whispered to himself sharply, "Blizzard." Instantly, the door knob froze over, which allowed Bahamut to yank the knob out of its place in the door and easily nudge the door open.

"Ah-ha!" Bahamut said aloud with pride. Once inside he gently replaced the doorknob back into the empty socket and threw in a small Fire spell to thaw the thing enough so it at least looked like it was still doing its job.

Mujan absolutely hated when she had to go outside the comfort of they city to gather the supplies it didn't have. It was mostly wood, but occasionally she'd strike gold and find some big run down machina someone left behind. The city was full of abandoned machina, yes, but it was small for the most part. The big stuff didn't last very long in there, because it was the big stuff that made the money. On this particular day there was nothing to be found, and she didn't even find that much wood around. She would have to find something else to make a fire with tonight. Mujan really needed to find an old heater to fix up.

Giving up, Mujan started to head back to the city before even getting that far out of it. The closer she got to the mountain, the colder it got and she was not dressed for the cold. She was able to defend herself from the dangers of the city, not the elements.

Soon she saw the glow of a foreign fire, and a makeshift little shelter. She reached around to grab the gun from her back as she approached. You never know who's a threat these days.

User Image Sariel chuckled. "It's true, we are the elite of Bevelle's force," he stated. "And you owe us nothing. We provided the skills, but you made them yours."

The swordsman pulled on the hilt of his sword, itching to draw it and attack the aeon. His training was specially molded to deal the most damage possible to any aeons and their summoners. Fighting the aeon to have a summoner would be different, yes, but a walk in the park. "Fiana will be joining us shortly as well. Though she may end up missing the fight," Sariel commented with a smirk. If they were allowed inside soon, they could easily take care of it before she arrived.

Fiana was on an errand for information for him. Their orders, among the general feeling amongst the military on the up-coming war with Zanarkand. While the officials claimed they did not wish to go to war, Sariel could feel it. He knew they were spiraling into the situation. It didn't bother him at all either.

User Image Lillian's eyes widened slightly at what Bahamut did to the door, but said nothing, just watching as he worked. When she could, the white mage slipped inside the room and waited for him.

"Are you sure we're able to stay in here?" she asked, a bit concerned on his breaking in. Even as she asked though, her eyes trailed over him. He had always been fairly well toned, and she quickly found herself having to turn around and look at some of the various trophies displayed on a shelf or two. She had to hide the bit of blush that had managed to surface. Even though she didn't look to him in a romantic sense, Lillian had to admit that he really was a handsome guy. "I'm glad you got in. The Abes are one of the top teams..."

"A bit late to worry about that now, Lilly" Bahamut said with a chuckle and a grin. "But yeah...I tried out for the Abes about six months ago, played in my first game a week later..."

Now this is the part that got the silvery-haired man stuck. Apologizing wasn't really once of his strong suits, even if the situation demanded for one. Like now. Even for a childhood friend he had to pause for a few moments to must up any nerve.

Finally, he looked up at her and sighed, "I'm....I'm really sorry that I haven't talked to you in the last year or two. Things back home...have been uh...complicated."

Aww, how could you leave such a lovely creature all out on her lonesome, hmmm?
You're the reason why. How the hell could I possibly explain the fact that I've got a jabbering, idiotic parasite of an aeon existing inside me. She'd think I'm crazy! Ow, harsh words, I'm sad. If anything, I'd like to think I mega-times enhance your sex appeal heh heh heh heh... Pfft...keep telling yourself that.

User Image Lillian turned back around to face the blitzball player, shaking her head. "It's okay. I thought that maybe we were just growing up and you wanted to be elsewhere," she answered, smiling a little still.

"I...came out here to find you though," the white mage began, her hands nervously fidgeting with her clothing. "Remember how I used to want to be a summoner? Well, I...decided recently that I was going to try to do it. I haven't gone to the temple yet because I really need at least one guardian. Even with an aeon, a lone white mage isn't going to get far on her own."

It felt awkward, asking for his help when she hadn't seen him in over a year. Yet, at the same time, she knew there wasn't too many people she'd trust as much as him. Here went nothing though. "I know you're busy with blitzball, but...would you be willing to be my guardian?"

Ornias had temporarily left the "home" he created to hunt. As he was returning, he could have sworn he saw someone in the distance. His brow furrowed together. Was he hallucinating? Ornias's eyes immediately retreated to his sword that he hid in the shelter. But it was too late; the person was already too close.

"Friend or foe?" He called out, tensing with each syllable. Ornias wasn't really in a mood to fight.

Viktor smiled warmly at Sariel. "Still, I feel that I owe you and Fianna much." He looked ahead again, quite surprised that time had passed by so quickly. He supposed it was due to having a friend around that made time fly by quicker.

"Well I hope she hurries." He said with a chuckle. "She's going to miss out on all the fun." Viktor was next in line. "Won't that be a shame eh Sariel?"

User Image Sariel looked on at the front of the line, feeling more and more eager to take on the aeon. "She'll get plenty of chances to fight one. After this, the two closest temples are either Zanarkand or Macalania. What information she brings back will determine which of them we go to next," he stated, brushing his bangs a bit with a flick of his hand.

"That's not counting other encounters we may have as well," he added in more quietly. Honestly though, Sariel was ready for Fiana to return. They needed to move out of Bevelle and soon.

Viktor's hands began to sweat not with anxiety or nervousness, but rather with eagerness. Like a child that was waiting for his parents to come home so that they may go to the candy shop. But this was no candy shop he waiting in line for, nor was he waiting for candy...unless a sick minded individual would EAT an Aeon.

It wasn't long until the Priest turned back around and opened his mouth, spewing the three words Viktor was longing to hear.

"Viktor Anton Demidov?" The man asked as he eyes settled on the brutish, ogre of a man before him. Viktor couldn't help but smile a bit eerily and let out a squeal of excitement as he dashed off into the Cloister. The Priest stood there, mouth open and his eyes wide.

"Ready or not," Viktor called out as he was nearly all the way inside the Cloister. "Here I come!"

Mujan stopped advancing when the man spoke, but held her gun steady.
"Vneaht... uhm... Friend i-if you are" She spoke English as good as the next person, but her words were still heavily accented so she spoke slowly. The man seemed to not want to fight as much as her, but she's been hurt by faulty assumptions in the past.

She turned her attention for a second to his shelter and fire. Both required quite a bit of wood. He could possibly have extra around there somewhere. Mujan took a few moments to think of how she could sneak some off with her, but she tried the easy way first.
"Do you have any more wood?"
