Daniel leaned in curiously, careful not to fold his arms on the table anywhere near the spilled ale. "What kind of 'job' are you speaking of?" he asked.

Anthony leaned over the table as well, slapping his hand in spilled ale. "C'mon, fess up. I'll take a job with this one, but I got ta know what I'm doin'" He nudged the small man with his elbow. "Eh? C'mon, jus' a job, right? give's me somethin' to do, if I drink much more I'll be hittin' the floor!" Anthony let out a laugh at his accidental rhyme.

Daniel casually wiped the spot on his sleeve where ale had splashed up from Anthony's wet smack on the table. "Definitely helps to know what you're getting into before you get into it." He took his arms off of the table to avoid getting splashed again.

Nova obnoxiously sighed, so loud that everyone in the pub, despite the roaring noise they were making, could hear. 'Listen, boys. We are from a place where we have learned not to trust so easily. Take it as a compliment that we've spent this much time conversing with you.' Nova stood up, noticing that all eyes in the pub remained on her. 'Clearly, this is not the place to begin revealing any secrets. Let us go now, then later you will discover all you need to know. You have my word.'

"Yes, there are too many eyes and ears here." Alysia added. She then stood up and made her way out of her dark corner.

Daniel watched them head toward the exit, turning in his seat to see everyone watching them go. Some of the eyes were turned to him and Anthony.
Rather than squirm under the gaze of the crowd, he quickly stood up and followed the ladies out.

Alysia got right up to the door but paused to turn around and see the men follow. Now out of her corner, the shadow cast by her hood was pierced by the bright flames of the lanterns surrounding the entrance, revealing her fair, freckled face and emerald, green eyes.

Anthony bot up with a grunt. He did manage to pull his dagger from the table, and nearly break the table in the process. He left the sack of gold for some thief and/or server to take it. He followed the group out, being the last one. It made him feel better, like maybe his days of glory were not quite behind him.

Daniel froze when he saw her eyes, his breath caught in his chest. They had a strange arresting quality to them. Unfortunately, he froze too soon, Anthony's large figure bumping into him and causing him to squirm sideways, trying to fall out the door with as much grace as permitted past Alysia's lithe figure. He somehow managed to keep his footing and stumbled onto the dirt path outside the tavern.

Nova raised her right eyebrow at Daniel. 'Not another one. Stop daydreaming, you will need to keep focus from here on out.' She smirked, 'Life will now become interesting for you two. Say goodbye to everything you thought you knew.' Nova stepped out of the pub into the small village which held it, the blue sky was turning darker and darker with each passing second. 'We will start heading off into the forest north of here. There we will be safe from unwanted ears. We will set up camp and then we will inform you of everything you have been wondering.'

Alysia pulled back her hood and welcomed the fresh air. As she undid the knot that held back her fiery, red hair, she looked up at the sky. The surrounding buildings blocked their view of the orange horizon. "Won't be long now." she whispered to herself and began walking briskly to the western edge of the town.

Daniel scratched the back of his neck, slightly embarrassed. He welcomed the cool air, though; helped him blush less.
He cast a glance over at Nova. "Yeah yeah, I'll be focused lady. Just be sure to really 'inform' us before we stray too far."

Anthony laughed and slapped Daniels back. Out here in the sunlight, Anthony came into full view, and whether this was a good or bad thing was up to the viewer. His dark brown hair had length now, for he hadn't touched the style of it since his last job, weeks ago. On that note, his stubble added detail to his face as well. He was, surprisingly, odor free. Though his hair was unstyled and growing, it was rather clean. His large axe was strapped to his back, the blade just six inches from his head. down on one thigh he held a smaller hand axe, and to his other his dagger from before. The dagger, how ever, was not visible at first glance, for it was covered by a patch of fabric.
"Oy! Don' be like that! a little strayin' is good! 'Ell, once I lost m'self in the fores' for two weeks. Came out ta a clearin' and ya know what I found? Some poor welp got 'imself killed by a big-time bandit, but the bandit was still there, and bleedin' ta death. I offed 'im, and picked up a bounty so large I fed m'self for more days I could count!" He slapped the boy on the back again. "You worry about the little things, guv'!" Anthony puffed out his chest. "Let's head along then, eh?
