beaulolais great gigi Dominantly text books. For pleasure I have several going, depends on the length of free time I some how obtained. They're a history of the Christian hell, The Iron Elves books, viking history, and some mystery book I'm starting to regret. me too, but i don't count that as "reading"! xp for pleasure, i am now reading Small Gods by Terry Pratchett And why not? My text books are surprising good this year, very fun and understandable unlike last year. I'm still recovering from organic chemistry. Now I have the new John Connolly book!

Finished The Tenderness of Wolves by Stef Penney and now I'm reading two books, one fiction and one non-fiction.
The fiction I'm reading is Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice; getting ready for Halloween smile
The non-fiction I am reading is Last Chance to See by Stephen Fry and Mark Carwardine, which is about endangered species and what is being done to protect them. It's really good.

All four Hitchhikers Guide books, in order. I'm on Life, The Universe, and Everything right now. But I just started, and I'm already halfway through, so I should be on So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish by sometime in the next two days.
To everyone who said they are reading a Dark Tower related book: I read those all a few years back. Fantastic series. If you really like it, you may wish to check out TheDarkTower.com and get in on discussions, or meet other Dark Tower fans. I've been a member for, oh, two or three years, since when it was still .net.

I'm currently reading A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. I kept on hearing good things about the book from friends and from various web blogs. I hope it's a good book. However, I'm sure that I'll enjoy it since it does seem like a type of book that I would like to read.

If you really like it, you may wish to check out TheDarkTower.com and get in on discussions, or meet other Dark Tower fans. I've been a member for, oh, two or three years, since when it was still .net. There are five books in the Hitch Hiker's guide by Douglas Adams. The fifth book is The Restaurant at the end of the Universe smile There is a new book that Eoin Colfer wrote, but this angers me quite a lot. The Hitch Hiker's guide should have been left at Douglas Adams' death.

Well, then, I am missing one, and someone has lied to me. gonk
And yes, no one should have been allowed to continue the stories after the passing of Mr. Adams. I heard about that and almost screamed. I very nearly went mad.

RenkonNairu Re-reading: * LotR (currently on Towers) * Black Jewels Trilogy (sometimes it seems like I'm always re-reading this) Reading for the First Time: * Nordic Folk Tales and Legends, A Collection If you are interested in Norse mythology, you should pick up the Eddas (prose edda and poetic edda). They are must-haves! Also, I am currently reading The Terror by Dan Simmons.
