Sanji Zentari Jakar

The Endless Fatigue

At the Prince's request Sanji lowered his energy. It was rare that he had to even think about it, but with a little concentration he was able to hold back enough to allow the Shinigami to recover. The Yo'Kai around him whined a bit in complaint, but were quickly quieted by a quick stare from their master.

The first general stood silently while the Prince spoke to the Shinigami. Something about a military system. Captains and Captain-Commander. Gotei 13. Really, it didn't make much sense to Sanji. All that really mattered in the end were the Prince's orders. Once they were dismissed Sanji looked to his fellow Generals and then back to the area around them. In the distance he could see hundreds of ratty shack buildings and beyond that a large white wall. From what Sanji could tell that is where he needed to go. In fact, he could feel it.

"As you command, Prince Daemon."

A whistle blew across the group and the Yo'Kai hounds jumped up to their feet and immediately started into a run. Sanji himself also launched forward in an eerie jump that had him practically gliding across the ground. It was probably the most he had moved in a long time, especially with any speed, not that he was the fastest around. Still the air was forced to separate around him and a billow of wind could be heard passing around him, picking up dirt and spraying it into the air.

Sanji made his way through Rukongai and once at a good distance from the other Generals and the Prince he allowed his ability to return to its normal level. For the people of Rukongai it was like a plague was spreading throughout the districts. Without any reason people suddenly became drowsy and fatigued. They stumbled and fell before passing out and others immediately fainted. If one could trace the large circular path of bodies then they would see a snakelike movement as Sanji was not moving in a straight line for the wall. He assumed the others would make such a movement and he himself preferred not to get in their way with his ability and he was sure they wished the same. As the First he would be able to take care of himself. There would also be little worry of him being caught as those that got close enough to see him were always unconscious.

Beleza sighed disappointedly as she head Persephone's head hit the ground. Her parisol did its job by shielding her from the subsequent spray of blood, and when she had stopped she was able to shake that blood off and close the umbrella with a smirk. She really didn't want to be the only girl here, but it was too late now. As Daemon told them their orders she simply nodded in silence until it was time to head out. "Yes, my liege." She said as she fanned her face gently. Then Kotaro stepped out and she couldn't help but smile toward the man. While he was clearly a brute she couldn't help but admire his features. She was a fan of anything Japanese despite her Portuguese heritage and Fuma's face paint was something that she found oddly beautiful. She didn't have time, though, to sit there and admire things, there was a job to get done and she was going to move out right away. With Sanji heading off in his serpentine course she took off at the diagonal. They were to head toward the strongest reiatsu they could find? Well there were two that she was sensing above all else at the moment and one of them was paired with another smaller one, so she figured she could kill two birds with one stone by heading there. And so she took off, headed toward Seireitei, toward the Eleventh Division specifically, for the reiatsu she felt was Kenpachi's and the smaller was Kango's. She didn't know either of the men, but she knew that if she showed up it would likely be a good chance to fulfil her mission...

Navitas listened closely to Daemon's orders and all was said and done he turned to face where Sanji and Beleza had gone off to. Sure enough they were headed in the right direction, he could feel it. With an excited grin he brought himself to a crouch and looked to Kotaro, "Fuma, let's go. In the name of the Empire!" And with that he pushed himself off into a high speed dash for the large white walls. After a while he finally made it to the outside of Seireitei, and he slid to a stop at the base of the massive wall. He looked up and could clearly tell that there was a barrier that surrounded the city. He leapt up and tried to jump over the wall, curious to know how strong the barrier was, only to be pushed back. As he figured, it wouldn't be passed through that easily. No, he would have to enter via other means. He stepped forward and placed his hands against the wall, feeling the stone it was made out of slowly start to drain his reiatsu. "How primitive..." He said with a smirk. The barrier did not go through the wall. This would be simple. He took several steps away from the wall and held a single hand out in a fist as he focused on one point on the wall. His eyes seemed to focus on such a small point that it was almost as if he was trying to look at a mark the size of a pinhole from thirty feet away. The fact of the matter was that his eyes could "see" individual molecules through the use of his power, and he was looking for spots on the wall that were in a certain stage of resonance. Finally he found the right spot and as soon as he did he opened his hand, extending his fingers until they were good and rigid. The motion wasn't necessary to perform, but it helped him concentrate and that's all that mattered. The wall suddenly began to rumble and in a matter of seconds it cracked and then crumbled into a pile of dust. He smiled and stepped up, walking over the pile and into Seireitei silently. He expected that anyone who wanted to could enter from there also. The entry was relatively silent. If he'd wanted to he could have blown the wall apart, but Daemon said to maintain the element of surprise, so that's what he'd do. He'd hope that Kotaro would do the same.

Fuma bowed and followed after him silently. He was easily able to keep up with his superior and when they arrived outside of the wall Fuma could only guess what was coming next, but his guess would have been wrong. He was hoping for a nice big explosion, but that would not be the case. Instead the wall simply disintigrated into a hole that was small relative to the sheer size of the wall itself. The entry was silent, which was actually kind of disappointing. In any case he knew that there would be plenty of fun to be had within, so he readily followed behind Navitas. Kotaro wasn't stupid. He heard Daemon's orders, and the fact of the matter was that Fuma could easily blend in with most surroundings, so keeping things stealthy would be a simple task, even if he did raise a little hell here and there. For now, though, he would simply stay quiet until he was given the order to go off on his own.

Sanji Zentari Jakar

The Endless Fatigue

Now Sanji had been sure he had seen something similar to a gate in the wall on the other side when staring from afar and if his assumptions were correct there would more than likely be more than one of them. Coming around the wall he soon spotted a second gate just like that on the other side. It had to have at least been a forty-five degree angle, which suggested there may actually be at least four if not more. Coming up to the wall out of the streets of the slums Sanji found himself staring at quite a large fellow. The giant ape like man was standing in front of the gate as if guarding it. Now he was kneeling. And finally he was laying in a slumber on the ground in front of the gate. It was rather pathetic to watch really. Why would they have such a weak creature guarding the entrance to this place? Was it because those in the slums around them were even weaker? Sanji could only assume as much.

The four Yo'kai and Sanji simply stepped around the Guardian of the Gate and stepped up to the large mass itself. Examining it a moment Sanji was able to determine it did not open like your normal door. There were no hinges. So Sanji could only conclude one thing. Reaching down he dug his hand into the ground and soon enough his fingers wrapped around the bottom of the gate. Gripping the base tight Sanji suddenly thrust up launching the large gate high into the air. It took a little bit of energy, but it was not much.

With his Generals off to perform their duties, Daemon was left alone on the cliff with the scientists. He glanced over his shoulder and addressed the leader once more, "You there, I find myself curious about something. I could not help but notice a note of recognition in your eyes when you first saw me."

The scientist leader looked up and replied, "Y-Yes, mi'lord. You were once a Shinigami here in Soul Society. A lieutenant of the 14th Squad."

Interesting. He, of course, had no memory of this, but why? Every other Marak'Hai Daemon had come across remembered their past and the crimes that brought them to Hell. He knew nothing. What was more, he also lacked a zanpakuto that many of of the other Ha'Kai and even some Yo'Kai carried, but eventually discarded. Would he finally be able to find answers here?

"Get back to work. I expect this gate to be open within the next couple of days." he said before stepping off the edge of the cliff and plummeting headfirst towards the ground below. Bare seconds before he hit, there was the barest flicker of movement and Daemon vanished, heading towards the gated court in the distance.
