I didn't like Rue for the longest time, but after mulling over the ending for awhile, I decided that she wasn't all that bad ^^;. She was my least favorite character for awhile though.

chocolate_dipped My favorite would be Fakir. But, well, I like angsty, protective bishounen, so I'm biased. Mytho was too much of a flower-vase for most of the anime for me to really like or dislike him... He's just... THERE, if you know what I mean. Heh. I hated Rue in the beginning. By the end, I loved her. *shakes head in amazement* That's one of the magical things about this series. =) Ahiru was... well... okay, for a female lead. She's a little klutzy, but she's got strength of character. So I guess she makes for a much better female protagonist than say - dare I say it - Miaka, from Fushigi Yuugi. =D yea i agree...i love fushigi yugi but i loved the seven warriors more than the priestess...my fave priestess is Takikio Okuda because she is strong and she actually fights! anyways besides the point...sorry bout that. my favorite character is Rue...i think shespretty cool...i love her villainous costume though very swan lake Odile-ish.

I would like to see a really nicely made version of it IRL <3. well in swan like costume designs usually Odettes costume would look more like Kraehe's costume than Odile's the bodice are very similar except for the colors obviously, both Odile and Odette's costume have the feathers on the tutu to show that yes they are birds. But the Act II 32 fouettes...O.O its like WOW i wanna do that one day. it is really hard, not as hard as when in the ballet Giselle (i love referring to it because it is one of my favorites) when she goes crazy it take the life out of you, she has to have tremors and all this stuff that makes really think she is really dying (because in the ballet Giselle has heart murmur she cant overexert hierself...) i love the costumes for swan like, they very beautiful yet excruciatingly expensive. i wish gaia has a tutu set in different colors for each ballet genre like the long tulle tutus in the romantic period or the classical tutu. it would be very cool.you know like the color red and black for Don Quixote, white or black for Swan Lake or Raymonda (gold too for Raymonda), Blue for Le Corsaire,and Pink for Sleeping Beauty and it would also be interesting with matching colored pointe shoes! unfortunately Gaia doesnt have it...i would start a petition but i dont know many dancers on gaia....and i dont know if it would work.

I like every character, but I would go with Fakir mostly. Each character is awesome, and very unique in their way ^_^

Something about those tough characters you know are hiding something... I love it. I always felt sorry for Mytho though gonk . Fakir was so rough with him.

Most definately Ahiru, though I'm sad that there is no Uzura on the poll.
I don't see Ahiru and Fakir ever getting together, though.
**Spoilers**
Though there obviously are some feelings between the two, I believe it only to be respect and friendship, not romantic love. Ahiru did what she did because she loves Mytho, and I just don't see her transfering her feelings to Fakir very easily. And while Fakir does care for Ahiru, I think it stems from his respect for her and willingness to fight and sacrifice everything for his best friend Mytho.
And, and Ahiru is a duck.

My Favorite Character is FAkir, I new from the beginning when I first say him that he was going to be my favorite. He's so protective, and misunderstood by people looking on, then as the story went on I found myself liking him even more.
I liked Ahiru because she was cute, but she was never in the running to be my favorite, sorry Ahiru but I want to be your friend. ^w^.
Then there is Mytho, I can't stand him, and I don't know why, I mean his character is so cool, or well it could be.. but nope, I can't stand him, I think he's my least favorite.

It's hard choosing a favourite. I guess it would be Fakir and Ahiru if I did have to choose though. Ahiru starts out as a typical scatter-brained, klutzy magic-girl main character (the kind that usually deters me from liking a series) but by the end of the series she's turned into a stong and dependable character who truly earns the right to be called a herione. She's a welcome break from standard magical-girl characters.
Fakir I love because he's the resident angst-ridden bishie with a terrible past. But more so, I love his character development. He goes from said angsty person to showing many layers of depth to his personality. Also, my favourite scene is when (not sure if this is a spoiler, but I'll highlight it anyway) Tutu is stuck in Drosselmeyer's world and he saves her with his writing. I love it when he called out her name and she was able to get out. Proud member of the Fakir faction. xd

I can't decide between Ahiru and Fakir
Ahiru reminds me of alot of lead female roles but she also doesn't. She has the main attributes of any lead but she also has her own way of doing it. (if that made sense to anyone you're a genius... sweatdrop ) Besides, she sweet and caring while being hilarious at the same time.
And Fakir...well what can I say, I was attract to in the first season because he was acting like a jerk! sweatdrop But then he mellowed out and opened up more which made me like him more. Besides Fakir was so misunderstood and it gave him an edge... xd
