 Kirata Kirata cocked her head to the side, examining the newcomers. "If you wanted a quest, you're in the right place." She told Komegura, then turned her attention to Athena. "Hmm. Leader? I guess you might call me the leader. I'm here to guide everyone to the nests." Her tone was reflective - She'd never thought about it before, but she supposed it was true. Kirata gave the unicorn a wary glance. She hoped the woman had good control of her steed. She did not want to have fighting amongst the group while they were here. It would be enough just trying to get the honey and come out alive. Iron Gryphon

 Athena Luraine~Onyx Beastkeeper~ I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell | I know, right now you can't tell, With a five-second glance at the members of the group, Athena had already sized everyone up and formulated a plan of her own. For good measure, she asked: "Do you have a good plan for staying alive?"
The Beast Keeper would need no such plan to help herself, but it was bad show to let your group members die.
"If not, I already do." But stay a while and maybe then you'll see | a different side of me.

Kirata Kirata flipped her wings in a shrug. "Get in, get honey, get out. Don't die. Probably split up into two groups - diversion and gatherers." That was about as far as the Gryphon had planned. She found it rather hard to plan when she didn't know who was going to be coming. Had she had a better clue, she might have had a better plan. "Still, if you've got a plan, let's hear it." Kirata didn't seem at all concerned about letting Athena plan, if it sounded like a good idea. Mostly, the Gryphon was here to guide, maybe give out some pointers. Iron Gryphon

Komegura scanned the steed and the newcomer. He had sensed them a while back, a mile or so ago, but didn't want to acknowledge that they were there, it could have stirred up trouble.

 Feeling it crushing your spine so deep-
So ******** hot all you can do is weep.
Shameless and spiteful and full of rage-
You have so much sorrow so carefully caged.
As the red pours down you want to end it all-
A tourniquet of pain to ease your fall.
"Isn't there something beautiful about the way blood runs down pure white skin?" ((When did I ever say that, my lovely? I stated that no one character can be in any two quests. I never said a user couldn't have more than one character inside the same quest.))
Bella whimpered in Mizoto's fur as the Gryphon could only gaze at Athena in awe - at her steed.
Both were incredibly beautiful.
His thoughts immediately went to Bella, who he saw as one of the loveliest creatures he had ever laid eyes on.
But this woman... and that unicorn... they were both gorgeous - in a dark, sinister kind of way.
The kind that made everything impossibly alluring.
He found himself having a loss for words.
Bella - seeming to realize this - pouted and hovered up by his ear to whip him across it with her tail, making him flinch and shake his head, the feeling having the feeling of a powerful pinch.
"Ah..." he breathed as Bella glared at Athena, seeing her as a threat. She knew Mizoto's obsession with beauty - that obsession was what made him save her in the first place. "Bella, what is it?"
"Keep your head on, Mizo!" She snapped, her tail lashing as she sulked. "It wouldn't do for you to lose it here!"
Mizoto's ears flattened against his head at her words, and he lowered his great neck - to where his beak nearly touched the sand - in a silent form of submission.
It made Bella feel a little better. She was still his only.
Hovering down between his shoulder blades, she snuggled up into him and he took the cue to raise his head again, his wings quivering in restlessness.
He had to stop from staring at Athena.
Swallowing, he lowered his head in shame.
When he spoke, his voice was quiet.
"Can we go now?""I guess it's just me - consumed by sin." Sometimes you gotta bite the bullet and swallow the gun-
Why make a mess when destruction's more fun?

Athena Luraine~Onyx Beastkeeper~I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell | I know, right now you can't tell, Two Gryphons. A dragon of some sort. Whatever the hell Komegura was, Athena doubted he could resist a sword the way her armor would. "Dragon," she asked, "what is your element?"
"Fire," Roth said, somewhat intimidated.
"That'll work," the Beast Keeper said with a nod. She shifted her weight, before swinging a foot over the massive Killer Unicorn and landing in the sand, causing a stirring of sediment. With disgust, Athena wiped an armored gauntlet across her body armor, causing an unpleasant hiss.
"I hate the ******** sand," she commented.
A slower, more scrutinous glance was spared to each member of the group. Then, shifting her weight further to stand comfortably in the sand, Athena began:
"I don't know how thick your feathers are, Gryphons, without a sword and a bit of pain on your part, but I'm guessing you have some resistance to the natural enemies of your home territory. The dragon might fare fine in whatever larger form it has."
It, she had said.
"I am the distraction, though. What you need to do first is smoke out the wasps--insects can't stand that stuff. Then, quickly, gather honey and get out. While you do that, I'll draw the wasps away with Eanue here." Athena patted the Killer Unicorn's rump affectionately. "Then," she continued, "go as far in the opposite direction as possible. Send the dragon out first--if there's any way to kill insects, burning them's it. That way any stragglers won't stay here. If you can, too, kill the Queen while you're inside. If it's dead, all the wasps are like dumb babes--useless. Since the Queen's usually too big to even move... you should all have no trouble."
Athena would be the one taking the brunt of the trouble, so to speak. Luckily, she was plenty capable of both standing up to and outrunning it.
"By the way, what can you do?" she asked Komegura finally. But stay a while and maybe then you'll see | a different side of me.

"I fight...and I think...therefore I don't think I need to say anything...I don't like spilling my guts out for all to see at the first meeting. And second...killing the wasp nest would be counter-productive because that would lessen the amount of honey that could be attained in the future...a waste if you ask me." Komegura replied. He didn't like Athena very much...something about her seemed...fake...but he couldn't but his finger on it...but for now he had to trust her and go along with her plans. "In regards to the 'what can you do' question...I can survive, that's all you should really need"

Athena Luraine~Onyx Beastkeeper~I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell | I know, right now you can't tell, The... fighter... obviously didn't know much. It was literally impossible to kill every wasp, and insect colonies were surprisingly resilient things--anyone who tried to exterminate them knew as much. Obviously, these giant wasps were something akin to both ordinary wasps and bees, as only bees crafted honey (where wasps were carnivorous creatures). Once the Queen died, another wasp would step up to take its place--though not in a fashion timely enough to make the remaining wasps attack the fleeing honey thieves.
"Think better," Athena said with quiet annoyance. "and how well you fight will be up to the wasps, not you or me." But stay a while and maybe then you'll see | a different side of me.

"Fine...have it your way...what am I supposed to do? Go along with the rest of them?" He asked, pointing at the others. He was starting to get annoyed at Athena, something about her screamed at him, something he disliked about her.

Komegura's eyes lit up when Athena mentioned speed "Oh I don't think the problem will be me keeping up with you...". He was an odd one after all. A Beast Demon...yet quick as a lycanthrope.

"Hey!"
Scowling, her tail puffy, she flew up so that everyone could see her, her wings fluttering.
"Are you two going to stand here arguing all day or are we going to get down to business?!" She snapped in her high-pitched voice, setting her paws on her hips. "Presently there are two more people heading towards the rendezvous point, and it would be nice if we had a solid plan ironed out before the sun sets! I am NOT about to stand here and listen to you two bicker all the live-long day!"
Another reason Mizoto admired Bella was that she was very courageous when she needed to be - albeit sometimes it was a moment when she needed to keep her trap shut.
Forcing himself to move forward - lest the Beast or Beast Keeper tried to harm Bella, he raised his head and stuck it in between the great horse and the fairy, shielding her from view.
"Bella, please calm down," he murmured to her. "Like you said, we can't waste time arguing."
Bella merely scowled, huffed, and settled on top of his head, wrapping her tail around herself and sulking as she glared at Athena and Komegura both. "I guess it's just me - consumed by sin." Sometimes you gotta bite the bullet and swallow the gun-

 The mage that Gen had turned out to know had been batty. Very, very batty, but undoubtably genius. Within minutes Mae had felt herself falling, swirling, and spinning all at once. Then, all of a sudden, she felt warm. Her eyes, which she had squinted when the whole thign started, slowly opened. She could see figures in the distance some yards away. The process of that spell had made her woozy, but they were undeniably at the site for the quest. A sigh escaped her. Secretly, she'd been hoping that it wouldn't work and she wouldn't have to do a quest she'd get no reward from. Mae didn't drink. Even the wine used in church was unfavorable to her. It made the other Priests chuckle.
 Gen's eyes glittered. It had worked! She knew that she could trust the old man! Crazy people always had the most amazing talents. She waved her arms around as she jogged forward, pausing only for a moment to make sure that Mae was following along behind. "We're here! It's not too late is it?" She questioned. Reaching them she stopped short, a wide and bright grin spread across her face. "Not to late, right?" she repeated, unsure if all of them had been able to hear her from the distance before. "Oh, and I'm Gen by the way!"
Mae sighed before reaching the group. Immediatly she assesed them. A strong group, most of them well dressed. A few had spots they needed to cover in her opinion, but it wasn't so bad that she wouldn't be able to focus on her work. "Hello," she greeted with a much smaller smile when compared to Gen's. "I'm Mae Lawings. I hope that I can be of help to everyone."

 A lone wyvern soared high above the desert, never once glancing away from it's chosen path, not even when it's cargo started suffling about on it's back. Eventually, Necron finally managed to locate a spot to sit on which gave him some view of the ground without being poked by sharpened scales, or beaten by the creature's wings. Maybe a wyvern wasn't such a good choice. Maybe a unicorn would've been better. After all, had he chosen something that travelled on land, he wouldn't be in this rather embarrasing predicament.
The Cardmaster was truly and utterly lost. He knew that the wasp's nest was somewhere in this huge desert, and that the team planning to attack it were situated some distance away. However, the desert was huge, and as far as he knew, without any landmarks visible from the air. With a sigh, he ran his eyes across the parched land once more, failing to notice the few specks that were the rest of the questing party. The wyvern glided lazily over their location, their passanger missing them completely on his first pass. Had he been a little lower down, and the wind not whipping his hair so madly around his face, this would have been a hell of a lot easier. However, even if the master had not noticed them, his 'pet' had. The scaly creature began to circle over the party's location, much to Necron's confusion. As far as he could tell, there was nothing there, so why bather drawing his attention to it?
....From now on, I choose my own path,
even if it leads me to Hell."
