A small smile came to her face as she listened to the other within the resturant. and she could not help but allow a small mumbled laugh to escape her mouth. It must have been good to live at the temple, it was apparent as he was not accustomed to the food here. She looked over to him and watched as he grabbed his Katana. Once again it would appear that somone was mad at her already, just for finding their life more amusing than her own. She watched for a moment longer, but then her eyes turned to look through the small circular window that sat beside her. She would do her best not to make anyone else mad, as she did not hardly have to strenght to even lift her weapon, let alone survive any ruffle she could have accidentially caused.

Anima placed her finger on her chin, "Mutton?" She blinked, looking at him, "For breakfast?" She raised a brow, finding nothing funny about his comment, "Sure, we have it, but are you sure you want it for breakfast?" She looked up, looking at the girl, "Sorry ma'am, I will be over there momentarily..." A small sweatdrop appeared on the back of her head, facing the wall, Wow, three people, I hope I can keep the orders right...

Ryoto at once heard a chuckle from someone else who had just entered the restaurant. However, the waitress did not seem to be affected at all, just confused that he would want mutton in the morning. Trying to block out the laughter from the newcommer, the samurai nodded, confirming that he was still interested in the mutton. "Yes, for me, this is just supper. Mutton would be grand." After he had completed speaking to the waitress, his attention turned to the one that had chuckled at him. Trying to hide the flush which had appeared on his face due to embarressment, the samurai quickly took out a small hand-sized book, opening it to the marked page where he had most likely have left off.

Anima shrugged, walking into the kitchen and kneeling down to the ground. She opened a door that was off to the side, cool water underneath. She pulled out a peice of meat, looking at it carefully, "Yup, this is the right kind..." She closed the wooden door, only to pull open the one to the fire, fanning it. She wrapped some wet string around the peice of meat, quickly placing it onto grill-like set of bars just above the fire. She sighed, closing the door and heading back out, "Your mutton will done in a bit sir" She walked over to the girl, "So ma'am have you decided on what you would like?"

Kent had just finished his breakfast when the messenger came. The boy of 12 said,"Master Rashin wants to see you right away." Kent got up immediately. Master Rashin was not very patient and Kent did not want him hurting her. Kent followed the boy past all the houses to a large house near the center. Kent entered the house alone.
Inside the home was furnished luxiorly. Kent headed upstairs to the second floor and knocked softly on the door. "Come in," A harsh voice said. Kent entered the study. One light was on near the door, the person also inside was shroaded in shadows. Kent shut the door behind him. "Your next assignment." A picture fell into the light. It was several bad photos of a samurai. One had a decent photo showed the face.
"His name is Ryoto"
((Hope you don't mind broccoli. This will get me in with the other active members seeing as I don't see and ninja NINJA ninja posts))

Ryoto brought his attention from his book to nodd at the waitress. Once his appreciation had been noted, the samurai at once returned to his reading. However, even as he read the words which meant so much to him, the samurai could not help but bring his attention to the waitress, who now asked for an order from one of the other customers. The woman whom the waitress waited on was the one whom had earlier taken interest to the food he had ordered.
Could she possibly know of the temple?
Hiding behind the pages of his small novel, the samurai peeked over them, trying to get a better look of what was to come. He had decided that he was to watch her every action. Even though she looked poor, there was something about her aura that seemed familiar... much like his own and his peers at the temple. Could she possibly have the heart of a samurai? Wanting to know more the samurai watched...
((It is no problem Kent... get some action into this roleplay lol))

Anima looked over to the kitchen, "Excuse me ma'am" She walked into the kitchen, opening the door, pouring some water into the fire, quickly grabbing the peice of meat and placing it into a block of wood, pulling out a knife. She cleaned her hand off on a cloth, quickly chopping off a few peices of meat, "He never did say how he wanted it..." She picked up the peice of wood, looking at the slightly pinkish meat, carrying it out to the man, "Here you go... I have no clue how much the owner would usually say it costs... The real waitresses know..."

Ryoto's attention was taken from the newcommer to the waitress who had magically appeared in front of him with his mutton. "Oh, thank you..." Once the waitress spoke about not knowing the price, Ryoto went into his pocket and took out some gold coins. "Here. I think this might be enough for the mutton and for your tip. Thank you very much." Placing the money on the table, the samurai went back to his reading.

Anima took the money, "You are welcome and thank you..." She looked up at the door, seeing the owner step in, looking at the two. She hid the money in her hair, walking back into kitchen while the owner walked over to the girl. She sighed, counting the money, "Nice tip..." She hid the money in a pocket in her sleeve, fanning the fire a bit.
The owner walked over to the girl, watching Anima head back into the kitchen where she was supposed to work, "Hello ma'am, I am unsure of the cook got to you yet, and she is only a waitress when it comes to these early mornings... So, what can I get for you?"

((>> How is it that the day I decide to not log on, that everyone posts? erg...))
Ryoma glanced around. The girl, the other two samurai, the restaraunt owner...there was a reason why he was never sent undercover. Interaction with too many people, well, let's just say that he was claustrophobic. Sighing and shaking his head, he turned and left the restaraunt without being seen.
He continued to walk down the dusty road, heading back towards the temple. Perhaps there might be a peddler, or someone with food back there, where he could be alone. He shook his head. Of course, sometimes he really did wish that he could interact with others, especially in large groups...but no matter how hard he tried, he always ended up running away. Ryoma knew that his problem didn't have to do with how he was raised, or anything of the sort. It was caused by something unexplainable...
The boy reached the temple, his footsteps clicking on the stones as he entered through the front, for once. He wasn't able to find a wandering peddler or anything of that sort, but he did find an orange tree. He picked one of the ripe fruits, and went back to practice.

((I had writers block...)) Yukana knew he was watching her, she could feel his eyes trying to peirce her soul and as the waitress approached her she simply pointed to the menu, her finger directly below what she wanted. The young woman had happened to order a hefty helping of wonton soup with teriyaki pork, which the waitress wasted no time in placing the order once she had writen it down. She then watched as the waitress caught the other samurai off guard with his own meal and she smiled, though from a distance, her facial expression had not changed. It was next her turn for the meal and when it was placed down before her, she wasted no time in devouring it, though she did so rather slowly to hide her hunger, making it seem as though her thinning body was part of some training, or rather a spiritual obsession. She then waited, wondering if he would watch her again, dare to look at her and think she was not doing the same.

Ryoto had in fact, turned his entire attention to the book he had out in front of him. While he read, the samurai, every now and then, took a bite of the mutton that was kindly placed before him. Luckily, everything had gone fine and his first time in the marketplace was not a disaster; or not yet. After reaching a finishing spot in his novel, the samurai closed the book and stuffed it back into his sash which he kept attatched to his side. There was still much meat to be eaten, but there was no need for hurry. After taking another small bite from the meat, the samurai looked up to see the one whom he had been watching. Immediately, he spotted a katana strapped across his waste. Why hadn't he noticed it before? He had never spotted her in the temple nor was a female samurai ever mentioned to be in the roster. Could she not be of this town? Slowly, the samurai rose from his seat and made his way towards her until he stood directly beside to where she sat. "Excuse me, but are you a samurai? I couldn't help but notice the katana, the weapon of the samurai."

Anima flew through the wall inbetween the kitchen and the eating area, a large, red handprint on her cheek. She slowly sat up, rubbing her cheek, "Ow... Sir, that is my tip! You have no right to take it!" The owner scoffed, "After you making this mess, I have a right to take it! Besides, since those samurai sold you to me, you have no right to talk back to me!" A grin spread across the man's lips, disappearing seeing the costumers, "Oh, I am so sorry, but this girl does not know her place in society..." Anima growled, How did he pull the money out of my secret bag in my sleeve, none of it jingled either...
((Sorry, in real life I am upset at something...))

Hearing the cry of the waitress, Ryoto at once spun around, drawing his katana. As he stared at the owner, he whispered to the female samurai, "Excuse me. But I have some business to do here..." Immediately, he stepped forward toward the owner, pointing his katana at his face. "How dare you strike this woman! Don't you know that it against our Dynasty to strike those who have caused no harm!?" The samurai bared his teeth, taking a step closer to the owner. "Now I suggest you give back this lady her money. For I have given it to her myself. Or... I will have to force you to give it back." The samurai was now in fighting stance, awaiting a stupid act from him to give him the right to chop one of his arms off.
(( Hope all is alright... >_<;; ))

The owner steped back, a grin slowly appearing on his face, "Well, how about a deal? You take her as your slave for the price of the food and the tip you gave her..."
Anima's eye twitched, quickly getting up, pulling out one of her feathers, tossing it at the owner. The feather flew as it were a dagger or a knife, penitrating and sinking into the owner's shoulder, "I am not just an item that you can just sell!"
