Kara grabbed Quin's arm and stood up. "Quin, what the hell is he talking about?" She grabbed onto her side, which the blood was starting to run down her side.

ripping his shirt he tied the wound off, his expression worried. " he is saying.. those wolves are being used to turn humans, to test blood lines or the like.." Zai caught his attention and he stiffened. Quin growled as he took a step foward, his voice sharp. " Do not encourage--" his words cut off as a dart, spindly and sharp, hit his chest hard. he paled, staggering back and falling on the bench next to Kara. he could move.. but it was slow, like he was underwater.
" Dont look so shocked, Quin.. Riley has had trouble with you for years, it only makes sense that i would have something to use on you." his mood, usualy so playful and deviant, was down right deadly. crossing his arms over his chest he studied Quin through a narrowed gaze, eyes cold. " Riley may have raised you from the grave, but make one wrong step and ill put you back in it." shifting his attention he studied Zai, all buisness. " even cut, and you have a deal. money is little to me.. results is the reward."

"Alright." Zai pulled out a piece of paper and wrote down the name, Salazar Neri. Handing it to him, she glanced over at the one formarly known as Shade, Zai then said, "If ya want me to personally handle arranging a meeting for you two, that can be arranged."

Kara pulled the dart out of Quin's chest and made him stay sitting. "Good thing my blood is emune to lycan crap, one plus to being the ste[ daughter of a necromancer I guess." She looked up at the two that were standing and glared at them. "Why do you want to do this to lycans? One day one will come back and get you for making them the way they are, sometimes they don't want to be a wreckless animal. That is what your stuff will do to them. Pur Lycans can't control their anger and will hurt everyone around them."

Zai didn't look at her, but said, "Look, the lycan I know, good guy. He'll want this, probably needs it. Against one's will...? Well then, chemical race to finding a reversal will come out." She shrugged. "Like in the 1800s when they discovered a vaccine for vampires, of course, the trend has long since died out."

" then ill give it to him, for a small bargin of course." his eyes rested on Kara and he stalked closer, ignoreing Quins quiet growl. he stopped a few feet away, his expression amused as he knelt to eye level with her. he let his wolf rise, fur ripling across his skin and his eyes change before takeing human form agian. " you creatures.. so mislead. vampires have come out on their own.. wolves didnt choose anything of the sort. why, in this time or any other, would we tell the truth to you? lycans of the Pure breed are not what they were said to be.. we are animal, not human.. the fault lies in the human blood contamiateing our race, it gives us humanity.. and insanity. i plan to fix that."
as he straitened his gaze flicked to Zai, his expression oddly cold. " there will be nothing to fix.. my chemicals bond to the host, leaking out any sign of human frailty. with this.. even a half breed would be able to become full blood."

Kara was tempted to growl but didn't. "Monsterous." She couldn't stand the pain anymore and used her fire powers to burn the marks shut. "Whoo, my first scar." She looked back at Quin. "Are you going to be alright?"

Zai admired him, but now, was very very interested in discovering the compounds of this substance. Reversing the chemical reactions might kill, eh? She kept the thought to herself, but nodded and said, "Of course."

" Quin will be fine.. i cant kill him, not without Riley letting me. but he may be a bit.. off until it wears off." the word 'monsterous' echoed in his mind, and he grinned. it was.. he understood that, but he also had a dedicated mind to saveing his race. the wolves were blending too well with humans, from what he saw it was killing the animal in them.. he wouldnt allow it. as he turned away he tossed Kara a small vial, saying softly. " wait until we leave, then give it to him.. let him go too soon, and ill have to kill him. wether Riley wishs it or not." the vial was a diluter, it would allow Quin to regain his body function faster than letting the drug wear off. he was a monster, but not a cruel one... usualy. turning to Zai he bowed at the waist, saying curtly. " please, do lead on."

" Here is not a safe place, the ruins would suit us if your up for it." Psyc replied evenly, unphased. he understood current events just fine.. from what Riley had talked about before, things were a little heated there.

Kara's fangs inlongated and her eyes turned to a blue fire, anger rising in her. "If I wasn't smart I would try to kill you myself, but I value my life and Quin's." She took the vial and placed it on the bench, away from Quin, knowing better then to put it next to him. "You better head to another part of the city or something, I won't stop Quin from getting up and getting the vial himself."

" a threat.. or a promise? i enjoy both." the look he sent her was chilling, though his voice stayed light. " by all means, do so. Riley will dislike it, but im in no way bound to keeping him alive. a word of advice though.. i kill him, and you will have no chance of bringing him back." it was a clear warning. he would tear Quins soul to shreds before he allowed anyone to try and threaten him. Psyc played for keeps, kind hearte notions had no place in his world.
