"I've been quite well actually. Ven is just trying to start something. Last time we met I wasn't in the greatest of conditions. Why is the Superior such a hard a** today?"

Xakta chuckled lightly--a sound that was not heard very often. Not by those kept alive, at any rate. "Once a month," he explained calmly, watching the sky beyond the tower, "I allow myself a day off. Otherwise, I fear I would go insane."
The Serpent Superior turned his head slightly, looking at Sylverant. "And what of you?" he asked. "You do not seem to have a busy life?"

''I don't do I ?'' she said simply. ''I do have a busy life. Y'know, trying to stay alive, trying to clone that idiot over there...'' she pointed to Ven who stared at her, mouth agape. She smirked at this. ''And then kill the clones. How does that sound like I have free time ?''
Ven's spirit still stared at her mouth wide open.
Sylverant eyed Ven and then said. ''Close your mouth. A fly can get into your m-'' she cut herself off when a fly flied into Ven's mouth and trough it, he being spirit of course. She let out a snicker. ''Never mind...''

Xakta chuckled lightly. "It is a hot day," he offered after a moment, then stood. He looked down at Sylverant as though thinking. Then, he motioned for her to stand as well. "Come. I will buy you something cold to drink...or perhaps ice cream. Everyone seems to enjoy that." He frowned a little--he, himself, did not like ice cream because he could not stand milk in any form--but it quickly disappeared. "What do you say?"

"Mm," Rix stretched and looked around. "This place needs something new. Maybe then it wouldn't be so boring. Although, harassing the Superior never gets old~" She smirked at that thought and turned around to go back to her room. "Later, Nexus."

"Why does there have to be a catch?" Xakta asked. He studied the girl for a moment. " Am I not allowed to at least pretend to have a heart, and be nice to someone?"

Sylverant shook her head as she smiled a bit. ''You can pretend, but that will only be a masquerade... And for the offer, thanks but no thanks. It wouldn't be fair for you to spend your munny on a mere ice cream or a drink for me... Still thanks for the offer...''

"It wouldn't be a waste," Xakta said. After a moment, he put his hands into his pockets. "Please. If you must know..." The man paused for a moment, and sighed. "I do not truly wish to be alone. However, I would rather stay away from the rest of the Organization for the day. I have to put up with them all of the time. A change of pace would be welcome."
