Angeline sighed and got up, knowing that if the teacher was as late as they were, they most likely weren't going to show up. She followed the other girl out. The moment she was outside, she pulled a pack of cigarettes out of her bag and pulled one out. Placing it in her lips, she set the pack back and grabbed a lighter. She lit the cigarette and inhaled. Sighing, she blew the smoke out and began to walk back to the dorm. She spotted the new girl with a new Prefect. She decided to keep an eye on them as she slowly made her way back to the dorm.

He stopped for a second when she mentioned hunter, but then continued on, not wanting to give her the satisfaction of being right.

" How in the h*** did she know? I'm not even on the vampire radar yet, one mission in, one kill, no rep, a nobody. Yet she knew..."

He shrugged off the creepy feeling she gave him, almost like a comforting feeling, but he knew it was probably vampire mind manipulation. He thanked his lucky stars that he was unusually tough against them. He cleared hi mind as walked up the road back towards the day student dorms for his first nap in hell.

She smiled weakly and nodded. "Yes. I guess I got a little turned around is all." She yawned and blinked sleepily. There were a few rays of sunlight starting to peek over the eastern horizion, but sunrise was still a little ways off. "Is that teacher always late and or never shows up?"

Before Chris could get to his nap, a flustred Yuuki approched him. "Um, Chris, have you seen Zero recently?"

Angeline took a long drag and blew the smoke out and up into the air. "Yeah and no. They show up sometimes, and sometimes they don't. It's a lot like flipping a coin really." She said before taking one last drag and then tossing the cigarette on the ground, grinding it with her shoe while she exhaled the smoke. "The name is Angeline, by the way." She said.

Chris kept his eyes forward, listening to Yuuki, but not really acknowledging that he was hearing her. He kept his eyes and ears open for any sign of zero.

" Zero certainly has changed. I grew up for part of my life with him. He used to smile, now and then. His brother Ichiru and him were inseparable. I wasn't around very much. I was mostly there to be trained, not to play or interact. I would eat, train, and then come home and sleep. I guess I was lucky to come home later than normal that night. Ever since then...he's changed, something about him now is...off. Like a part of him died 4 years ago. I guess it's not easy to watch your family get slaughtered by your enemy, but then again, coming home to find the mess doesn't do wonders for your sanity either. I followed his progress for a few years after the incident, wondering if he was holding up, only to find out he was taken here. It's been a while since I have seen him. Today was the first time in 4 years that I have spoken to him."

Nodding her thanks, she bustled in and looked around the open and spacious common room that was there. "The Locke family... quite the name to live up to..." She smiled. "Now I know where I've seen you. Father and I paid a visit to one of your family's corperations. There was a painting of you and your family in one of the main offices." She bowed slightly. "Forgive me, my full name is Lasali Aleanmitore. Um... Angeline? I, uh... don't know which room is my room." Laughing nervously, she rubbed the back of her head. "I haven't had the chance to fully settle in."

The expression on her face was strained, yet unreadable. "Oh. But maybe having you around will do him some good? I'm sure there are good memories tied to the two of you from growing up." Stopping abruptly, her expression turned to one of contemplation and a tinge of horror. "Why don't you rest, Chris. It'll be a long day tomorrow. I think I know where Zero's at now." Without waiting for his reply, she took off back towards the Sun Dorm.

Angeline bowed her head. "A pleasure to meet you at last Lasali Aleanmitore. I've heard much of you from my Father. He wishes I were more like you, actually. Part of the reason I was sent here." She said, motioning for Lasali to follow her upstairs. "I believe you are in the one next to me, actually." She said, leading the girl to the rooms. Sure enough, the room next to Angeline's was Lasali's. "Here ya are." Angeline said. Taking a quick moment, she ducked inside her room and changed back into her 'comfy clothes'. She opened the door to her room, another cigarette in her mouth, though it wasn't yet lit. She wore her jeans and black tank top that one would see her in when not needed to dress up for school. Her room had obviously been redone to not look so... schoolish and like she was in a mental institute or hospital. It had black curtains to keep the sun out as well as black paint on the walls. Several band posters were put up on the walls and her covers were askew on her bed. Clothes littered the floor. She kicked them out of the way and stepped out into the hall. "Heh.. Sorry bout that. The uniform makes me uneasy." She said.

Chris was settled into his bed, almost in a deep sleep, when he heard what sounded like a small scuffle and a few grunts from the stairwell not too far from where he was. His instincts told him the same thing his training did, and he was out the door with Mercy Killer in a flash. He was still in his boxers and undershirt as he ran down the hall to the stair way, and was blown away by what he saw when he reached them. Zero, his childhood best friend, eyes aglow with the red of the monsters he swore to destroy, feeding upon Yuuki. He pointed his gun at Zero's head, and spoke in an assetive, but calm voice.

" Zero. Put the girl down, this is not what you want to do. Put her down before I put you down."

He clicked the strike hammer on his revolver letting Zero know he wasn't kidding around.
