"Er, right." Max sighed. The Deku Prince was a stubborn brat, but that wasn't going to stop him. Max, fighting his usual anger issues and his instinctive violent behavior, held his breath and counted to ten. He exhaled, then inhaled deeply, then slowly walked over to Capoi. "Listen. I promise we'll get you out of here. I'm sorry I didn't treat you properly before, I, uh..." Max quickly thought of an excuse. "... Thought you were a monster. I didn't realize you were royalty, and you deserve to be treated as such. Isn't that right, Justin?" Max gritted his teeth and gave Justin that "follow along" look, and then turned back around like nothing happened. "Now, if you'll be so kind, O Great One, can you please return my friend from that cage? I'd sincerely appreciate it, and we can leave immediately after that to return you home."
Max turned around to face Justin again, but this time, Max stuck out his tounge, and clawed at it his fingernails. What have I done?! He hissed to himself, punishing himself for sucking up like a pansy.

Justin gritted his teeth, the last thing that he wanted to do was make the twerp happy, but it looked like it was the only way out of this place. Although, Max did it so he played along.
"Right, right" He looked from Capoi to Max, trying to hide that he was lying through his teeth. "I'm sorry..." He sighed in disgust and sneered at the final words, "...Your highness."
He waited for a second, waiting for an answer but then remembered Cole up in the vines above. "Don't worry Cole, once I get out of this I'll get you down with my boomerang"

Capoi huffed once more and smirked. " That is a little better. " Capoi said as he flapped the Deku Leaf once more at Justin again. The wind pushed Justin back to a secret button where he had Justin hit before to have the cage come down. The cage flew upward and Capoi looked at Max. " I've been stuck here for a while. It was a just in case kind of thing. " Capoi said as he looked up at Cole. " Cut the young boy down. He had kept me calm and built up my hope in this chamber. " Capoi said as the boy smiled down on them.

Justin growled grudgingly and walked over to Max and Capoi, trying with all his might not to kick the stump across the room. He looked up at Cole, who was tangled in vines. He took a minute or two to observe the tangle and decide how to throw the Boomerang. He took it off of his belt, aimed, and threw it. The boomerang flew up just above Cole, slashing the multiple vines that were trapping him. The vines gave out and dropped Cole to the ground, but he was not harmed due to the soft floor. The boomerang then came back, but due to Justin's inexperience with it, the item did not directly come back to him, it tilted more to the left and hit the wall. "Whoops" He said embarrassingly, "Looks like I should work on that." He went over to the boomerang picked it up, hooking it back onto his belt.
He turned to Cole, who was still on the floor. "You alright?"

With the ripping of the vines, Cole fell right on top of Capoi. Cole landed on the Deku Prince as the Deku Leaf flew upward. " Um... sorry. " Cole said as he grabbed the leaf. The Prince was unconsious now. " Yeah... I'm fine. But I doubt he is. " Cole said as he got up and pointed at the Prince. " Oh well. Let's leave. " Cole said as he held the Deku Leaf.
Cole started to flap the Deku Leaf around. It was fun. Cole flapped it as a door opened behind them. Cole had triggered a wind lock. " Shall we? " Cole said as he moved toward the door.

Max started to walk into the next room, but he caught himself, and his eyes went wide. He sprinted after Cole and Justin, trying to stop them. "Guys, wait! The exit is up the stairs!" But as soon as he said that, a giant rock slab slammed over them, trapping them inside. "Dammit! I knew it!" Max cursed, slamming his fist against the rock wall. "Well, let's try to find a way out of here..."
He made a thorough observation of the room. Torches every couple of yards around the perimeter to light the room. A very, very high ceiling. "Looks like that covers both floors." Max nodded. The ceiling was barely visible from so high up. Most of the floor was flat, though.
Suddenly, Max heard a rumbling. Small, hail-stone sized chunks of rock fell from the ceiling, and the area was coated with a thin layer of dust. Max stopped to cough, and waved the dust away from him, using his arm as a fan. When he stopped, though, a looming figure was standing over him.
A large, slightly chubby priest stood before them. He had white robes, and a long object wrapped in cloth on his back. Though the object he carried made him seem taller, he already towered over the four. He held a book with three triangles on the cover, and walked with an air of dignity that probably made many people respect him. Eventually, he opened his mouth and spoke quietly. "Dungeon rats, prowling around for meager treasure in the darkness..." He nodded. "Disgusting." He looked behind the group at Capoi. "Is that or is that not Capoi, heir to the throne of the Deku Kingdom?" He gave a small smirk.

Cole looked at the figure that had dropped from the ceiling and covered his face as the dust picked up. It blinded Cole for a moment or two before he flapped the Deku Leaf before the dust cleared. " Um... no? And who are you calling a dungeon rat? " Cole said as he looked at the figure. He covered Capoi as to block Capoi from this giant figure. The figure was kind of scary.

Justin stared in amazement at the huge figure in front of him, speechless. He observed the man, noticing the sign on the cover of the book. I know I've seen that before... but where? He thought trying to remember what it was. He then remembered, he had learned it in school... It was the ancient triforce.
Justin pulled his sword out of it's sheathe, pointed toward the man. "Who are you?"

The man smiled faintly. "Watch your tone, boy." He said with an emotionless grin. He slowly reached out for the sword. "This weapon you have here..." He took two fingers and gripped Justin's sword between them, lifted it clean out of his hands, and threw it across the room. It spun and spun until it hit the wall, lodged in between two stones, making a large echo within the large chamber. "You should be cautious, and choose your battles wisely. For I have only come here for one thing, and that is all. You'd best take your friend to where he belongs. And with that, I bid you adieu. Good day to you, sirs."
He approached the boulder that was blocking the door, and stood silently for a moment. He closed his eyes and touched the rock with one finger after a brief moment, and the rock shattered before their eyes, and he walked through the door as if nothing happened.
"That man..." Max said. "Who was that?" He walked over to the Justin's sword, lodged within a crack in the wall. "I don't think we'll be able to pull this out..." Max sighed. He reached back and took out his own Longsword, still within its sheathe, and handed it to Justin. "Sorry. This is all I can give you. But don't worry about taking it from me, I have another sword, after all." Max nodded. Though it felt good to do a nice thing, they had to get out. "Nice new toy, Cole, by the way." Max nodded, glancing quickly at the Deku Leaf he took from Capoi. "We should get out of here, though. I don't want to be trapped in here forever. And Justin's still a bit wounded."

"Thanks" He took the sword from Max, "I appreciate it, and I'll make sure to give it back some time" He waved it around a bit, getting a feel for it. It wasn't exactly like his sword, but it's fine for now. "I may adjust it a bit in order to get it the way I'd like." He hooked it to the back of his tunic and looked at Max. "You don't mind do you?"

"Keep it, I don't care. I don't need it." Max grunted stiffly. Keeping that sword was like carrying around a memory of his father - the one who disowned him. It was that very sword that he used to defeat him in a duel; and it was that very sword that made him an orphan. "Keep the damned thing." He started to get angry about it, but he calmed himself down. "Make any adjustments you like." Max stated calmly, turning around and closing his eyes, taking a deep breath.
He then walked over to the Deku Scrub Prince, Capoi. "Let's go." Max threw the young boy over his shoulder and began to go up the stairs. "Thank the Godesses that his isn't a Goron Prince. We'd be screwed." Max joked, barely making an effort to lug Capoi around. As they walked up the stairs, Max tried to make conversation. "Well, I'm sure we can get in the castle now, eh?"

"I dunno, but we gotta make sure to be very careful." Justin looked at Capoi, who was a lot less annoying being unconscious. "We are holding the Deku prince, so let's not give the Deku the wrong impression." He cringed at the thought of what may happen if the King found them with an unconscious Capoi and got the wrong idea.
He walked up the stairs behind Max, "Let's just hope that the brat wakes up and doesn't turn on us before we get there"

Cole looked at the group as he sighed. " Well there is technically a way out that isn't a door. " Cole said as he pointed up. " That hole takes you about about fifty yards away from the palace of the Dekus. Thats where the bird came in and thats where I saw the palace when it dropped me. " Cole said as he smiled. " But how to get up there... "

"I don't feel like climbing all the way up there. If we ever come back, which I really hope we don't..." Max nodded. "Then we'll figure it out then." He started heading towards the exit of the dungeon. "We'll just find our way from the entrance." Max added bluntly, sheathing his sword and re-adjusting Capoi on his backside so the wooden child would be more comfortable to carry.

"I know that I'm coming back someday, that sword means a lot to me and I won't just leave it there forever" He looked back at the sword, it represents his dream and has been his own sword since he rebelled against his father's wishes.
"Soon enough I'll find a way to come back and get my sword."
