Masumi laughed
"Thats your punishment? Hours of prayer...righht"
he had his prayers down pat, it wasnt much of a punishment, but usually he asked the gods for strength and he already got it, they answered prayer, would they answer more?

"Prayer, worship, service, the whole deal brat. Better wish for some brains while you're there it might help you a bit." Kahten snarled as he dragged Masumi across the dessert sands to the old temples.

"And its not like i dont know how to pray, go to service, worship, ive done it all, my parents tried to punish me with that when i was a kid, im an expert at it by now" he smirked

Kahten rolled his eyes, he knew how the pharoah tried to punish his own kids. But he wouldn't give up. "Don't worry, with your short intention span I'm sure I can find someway to make it hell for you."

he smiled and recited theese words in the language of his peoples prayers "but i hope your ready for a challenge"

Kahten quirked an eyebrow at Masumi's strange comment. He shook his head and walked into the temple removing his sandles. "Go start." Kahten commanded. "I'll be watching you." He released Masumi's hair. If the boy even tried to escape this one, he'd regret it.

Masumi walked into the temple doors, he went around the corner of the aisle, and he slipped into a confessional quickly, he always had a decoy for occasions like this
He foudn a boy, who from the back, looks exactly like him
The boy was always working at the church, Masumi went to the boy and the boy and him switched clothing and the boy went to the front of the prayer aisle and knelt down, masumi looked up to see kahten watching his decoy
he smiled and made his way outside in the robes

Kahten blinked and rubbed his eyes as he watched Masumi. Something was different about him. He looked slimmer.
Realizing what had happened Kahten growled. "Masumi.."He hissed between clenched teeth. Once again he took off to chase the spoilt prince of Egypt.

Masumi had made his way to the market
He smiled at one girl and she blushed and ra naway giggling
He chuckled to himself
Looking over the odds and ends, the market was always so lively, so bright and colorful
Then he came across a slave tent, he didn't like it, he looked at all the accessories on the wals for taming the slaves, there were shackles, gags, ropes, whips. HE moved to the next tent, not wanting to see any more, if he could he would buy every slave and release them.

Kahten ran out of the temple and down to the square. He knew this was where Masumi would be. He hated being here, and would take his anger out on Masumi's hide once he found him. Damn these despicable wrenches. They couldn't even work for their own food let alone work their way up the social lader.

Masumi passed a tent with fire dancers and he stopped to watch
They moved so graceful, and the fire was almost hypnotizing.
He smiled and continued on down the tents
He stopped by the pet tent
HE always loved animal's he wished he could have one

Tasumi sighed and walked out of the temple. "When is he ever going to just give up?" He walked towards the stable then went to his horse. "This is starting to no longer be a race to become pharoah..." He took the horse out then got on its back and headed into town. The people loved him because he was always so kind to them so they smiled when he came by. They could tell it was him and not his brother just by how he held himself and smiled at the others.

Masumi continued through the town, looking aroudn at things but keeping his cloaks hood up.
He heard a horse and he turned to see his brother riding through the town
"Hey Tasu!"
he ran over to the horse awving
"Hey, hows it going?" he asked smilling to finalyl see his brother, he hadnt seen him all day

Kahten was tired. He'd wondered around this dump for what seemed like hours trying to find the little runt. Finally he gave up. The brat wasn't worth that much anyways, his brother would get the throne. That's who he should be worried about.
Kahten headed home passing the stables as he walked.
