Legolas shook his head, "No. We were warned by Legede to never strike another bargain with you, Melkor. We will not start now."
She sighed, as if sad. "Then he will die. It is a shame too... all his anger and rage is quite appealing and amusing to watch." the evil Vala smiled. "You... Thranduilion... will not live to see another sunrise."
With that, Melkor disappeared, her body bursting into flames that quickly licked the ceiling of Sallia's room and spread into the hall.
Legolas was about to shout a warning, but the beam above Sallia's head broke from the sorching fires. He pushed hard, shoving his love away as he was suddenly buried under the debris.
Outside, crying and screams of terror errupted from the city.
Eden Cuil... was ablaze...

"Legolas!" Sario cried, holding a hand over her head as sparks began to fall on the group. She winced, eyes wide at the fire that blazed all around them.
What was going on?

Sallia was shocked, forgetting to breath. Everything happened in a blur....
Xarik'n, realizing the peril, reacted with more accuracy and speed than his elven friend. Snatching Legolas not even a second before the beams smashed, he teleported, reappearing beside Sallia.
"Better take better care of him..." he tried to joke, despite the seriousness of the situation. "Evacuate, or try to put the fire out?!!!" he asked, but Sallia was already down the hall to start waking up the others.
"Well?" He looked at Legolas and Sario.

"I will put it out!" the Maia screamed over the roaring of the blazes, holding up her hands as she glowed a bright white. "Just get people out, Xarik'n! Starting with Legolas, get him to safety!"

"NO!" Legolas shouted, "I can not abandon my people! I have to find my father, Legolia, Haldir and his brothers and everyone else! They must be warned!"

"Then stay with Xarik'n!" Sario turned to Legolas, her features softening before she focused up at the fire, her aura flashing, she pushed back the flames that licked dangerously close to the group.

Sario ran after Legolas, but then turned at a different direction, focused on controling the worst of the blazes.
