"Wait, so the dig's confirmed? I thought it was simply a possibility," she said, following him down the hall. "This is great! I can't wait," she exclaimed happily, moving at a slightly faster pace.

*The elevator arrived and Emeraled skipped out from inside, stopping in the dark hall and looking around*

*She picked one of the corridors at random and walked off down it*

*MK emerged from the dark, a team of several men dressed up in military gear tagging behind. They were led by Samson, the current Head of Security for the Terran operations. They made their way along the level at a fairly brisk pace.*

Tiana exited her lab, still in the process of slipping on her coat when she saw MK heading down the hall with a group of men. "Oh! Do- MK!" she called, starting after them quickly. "Is this for the excavation? I'm still interested in joining," she said, nodding and smiling.

*MK stepped to the side of the hall a moment as the rest of the men kept on walking toward the elevator*
This is the Recon Team that I've been readying for the trip. They will go on ahead of us and ensure that it is safe to go. We will follow in behind them if the report is good. Come along!

"Oh...It should be safe though, right?" she asked, eyeing the men warily. They did seem to be ready for anything, but she didn't think the site would be that dangerous. Nodding slightly, she followed them to the elevator, the excited smile returning to her face.

Should be, though we don't like to take any chances.
*MK caught back up to the group, and they all gathered close in the main elevator; MK, Tiana, Samson, and his 4 men. They then ascended to the main level*

 A DRK portal ripped open in the seventh level's hallway and moments later the blonde girl slipped out of it, a silver revolver clutched tightly in one hand. She looked about, recognizing the way to MK's lab almost instantly and starting for it.

An orb of DRK followed Goosie out of the portal, and striking the hand which held the gun. An angry looking Evijan emerged also, lowering the hand that released the NRGY, balling her hands into fists.

"Ah!" She yelped, dropping the gun from mere shock and spinning around to be met with Evijan's very unhappy figure approaching. In a panic, she hastily scooped the gun back up and yelled "Stop! Y-you don't understand, d-destroying this wouldn't do any good!" as she started taking steps backward and away from the oncoming dragon-girl.

'I'm not explaining it again; no matter how many times it's drilled into your head, rational thought just will not permeate that thick skull of yours. So are you going to hand it over, or do I have to force it off you?' Evijan said, hands aglow with NRGY once more.

She shook her head furtively, looking behind her toward MK's lab and then back at Evijan. In a panic, she concentrated hard, closing her eyes and letting a second portal start to form behind her as she took a step into it.
