LemurOverlord Yay...I made someone happy....my good deed for the year. Now...back to Simon drooling. Oh, did anyone notice how hot he was in Ariel? Power is a good thing for him. Ooh, I love that episode! Given that my favorite characters are (in order): 1. Kaylee (I must be her clone or something: we are so similar in pretty much everything. Except I can't fix anything.) 2. Simon 3. River Any episode featuring any of them is a favorite.

I dressed up as Kaylee for Halloween last year. I had the long sleeved colorful shirt and the jumpsuit thingy with a teddy bear patch and I smeared grease on my face. It as awesome!

I loved the opening sequence of the movie when Simon says "She used to dance so beautifully." It's such a perfect picture of the complete devotion he has towards River. It makes me wonder if they were so inseperable growing up, or if they were more like normal siblings.

I didn't like Simon at first because he was so oblivious to Kaylee, but after the show progressed I really started to like him.

*Drools over the pictures* I liked Simon before I saw him shirtless. I've always liked the smart ones. Also, he's really sarcastic, as most of them are, and I love that kind of humor.
River: But Jayne is a girl's name.
Jayne: Well, Jayne ain't a girl! She starts in on that Jayne is a girl's name crap, I'll show her I got man parts.
Simon: I'm trying to think of a way for you to be cruder. Nothing is coming to mind...
I'm paraphrazing because I can't remember what episode it's from.

I thought it was kind of cute how every time Simon Tries Something, he's either dead drunk (Jaynestown), or completely manages to shoot himself in the foot, metaphorically speaking. But as I haven't seen the entire series, he may well still pull that one off... And yes, to whoever said it, he was EXTREMELY sexy in Ariel, especially when he was yelling at the federal marshall dude, and when he was saving that guys' life, and when he'd just woken up from being "dead..." gorram it, he was sexy the entire episode! I also like that one moment in "Safe" when he realizes that he can't fight off all the pyromaniac villagers, so he gets up on the pyre, puts his arms around River, and says "Light it."

He was amazing in Ariel. And I love that he would fight and die for his family. He's a lot like Mal in that sense, because Mal's crew is his family. Anyway...I'm sure we all agree that Simon shined in Objects in Space. He was just so sarcastic, which I believe was already mentioned. I think some of his best lines are in this episode. "My sister's a ship. We had a complicated childhood."

He's so furious that that is all he can come up with to insult Jayne xd xd Because usually he fires off some really great sarcastic comments, that are better thought out than that.

^_^ I can see myself being a fangirl for Simon! I can obvioulsy be a fangirl *points to sig* so why not for Simon? Plus that first picture posted made me sit up strait very quickly! xd So now I declare myself a Simon fangirl!
Anyway, I agree about him being very sexy in Ariel! Just watched that episode myself a day or two ago.
Oh yeah, and I love Simon & Kaylee together! Especially that part in Janyestown.
