“Jen come on…You know I’ve never touched any type of drugs in my life - well besides one or two cigs every now and then….” Hiroki sighed. “Can you chalk it down as a I owe you one? Plus. I know this boy isn’t bad. If he was just given a chance you know he would be fine in the real world. He says you and I are the only people he trusts. We are the only people he feels he can open up to. Why would he leave us?” He moved to walk into her office, stopping her from leaving. “You care about him. I know you do….Even if its just a little bit. You want to see how he reacts to a world he’s never seen before. You’re like a curious kitten.”
Eva smiled. "No worries....well except for those guards." She said softly as she waited for the other's to join them on the roof.

She looked at Hiroki and hung up her phone as he stopped her from leaving. "I might be able to swing it if I get approval for these collars." She says after a moment pulling a prototype out of her bag. "Then maybe I can sign off on it as a test run of it in the real world on a mutant we know wouldn't hurt anyone.... If he's still the same Zachery after tommorow anyway...." She sighs a bit thinking it through slowly in her head.
Beau turned to the kitty girl, waiting for her to go up first.
Lupe looked down and tilted her head. "Come on Beau!"

Ming nodded as Beau waited for her to climb up before him. She swiftly scaled the first set of steps on the fire escape. She looked up at Lupe as she did so, smiling. "It's okay... you wouldn't have been able to catch me anyway!" she said playfully with a wink. "You can try sometime when we're safer if you'd like." she said, her grin widening as she followed Lupe up the second set of steps.
Alaina wrapped her dark wings around her for more warmth, and pulled her blanket up to her chin. She closed her eyes in an attempt to sleep, but struggled and ended up staring at her wall for quite some time.

"What are you talking about." Hiroki said as he watcher her expressions change. "What do you mean 'After tomorrow." What are you going to do?" A worried look had crossed his face. He wasnt liking the woman's tone.
Eva smiled at them before looking down towards the ally entrance. "Hurry! they're almost right on top of us!"

"I'm not going to do anything to him... A government sponsor is interesed in obediant mutants for a speicial program. John Marshell wants him, you know how much pull he has, you can't exactly say no to him without your job being on the line. Zachery's known compliance may be his undoing, you know how Marshell likes to send them back two inches from death." She sighed looking up at the man, before taking off her glasses and cleaning them with a cloth from her pocket. "I've never pushed Zachery that far, I don't know what it will do to him...I've never had to rough handle him at all, he's aways just come with me, and when I thought he'd had enough for the day call it quits... The more I think about it the more concern I have for him... But I'm not signing Zachery over to him completly, just letting him use him for the program."
Beau sighed as he looked at the ally entrance and he looked at the power lines above the allyway entrance, he looked at the street lamp and held out his hand, where the lines connected to the street lamp at the entrance the lines suddenly began sparking, a shower of sparks falling down at the ally entrance to deter anyone from coming down for a few minutes. "Lupe Keep them moving..." He says before climbing up after them.
Lupe nodded. "Kitty wants to play with the big bad wolf..." Her tail wagged onceunder the coat, before she nodded to beau. "Come on ladies, Beau will handle the diversion." She trotted accross the roof top to check to see if the coast was clear on the other side.
Zachery watched the lights grow dimmer, which was a signal he guessed for the scientists that their day was done and they could go home. It usually happend right befor everyone left. Zachery climbed onto his matress and sighed, he hated when it went 'all lights out' as he referred to it. Zachery hated total darkness, he always had.

Ming grinned at Lupe's bounciness as she finished her ascent of the stairs. She ran up beside Lupe and grinned, "I do want to play with the big bad wolf... but we'll play later..." she then looked over the edge of the roof. "Wow... we're really high up..." she mumbled as she backed away from the edge slightly and turned to face the stairs, waiting for Beau to follow them up.
While Alaina struggled with falling asleep. A patrol of police were outside her house, their lights kept flashing outside her window. "Ugh..." Alaina muttered as the flashing lights woke her up out of a few minutes of sleep she had been having. She rolled over away from the window and squeezed her eyes shut, hoping she could fall back asleep.
Meanwhile, there was a knock at the door downstairs... Alaina's mother, who was still up in the living room, wandered over and peeked through the window to see who it was before cracking open the door and peering at a police officer... "Can I help you?" she asked slowly... suspicious of why her was there.

Hiroki's eyes widened. "If you know how horriable Marshell is with his test subjects.....Why would you subject the poor boy to that?! He is a good kid, why would you put him in such a position to turn on us?!" His eyebrows began to furro in frustation. "That boy has been nothing but kind to you no matter how much hell you put him through." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Hurry up with those collars then. I want to take him out tomorrow."
A man looked up slowly from his text book as he heard a child's scream. Setting down the book quickly, he made his way over to the crying child. "Are you alright?" Concern laced through his voice as he checked over the arm the little girl was clutching.
"I....I fell" The little girl said through tears.
"Is you parents around?"
"No.."
The man sighed and fished through his white coat pocket. He pulled out a Hello Kitty bandaid. "You should be more careful next time miss." he smiled as he applied the bandaid to the scratched elbow. "You need to get yourself a prince before you find yourself in danger."
"A prince?"
"Yes.... A prince always saves the princess, always catches her when she falls."
The little girl thought about it for a moment, before looking at him with determined eyes. "Will you be my prince kind sir?!!!!!"
The man blinked before smiling. "I'm sorry..." he said as he moved a stray hair out of her eyes. "I already have a princess in which I need to protect."
The little girl pouted before running off as she spotted another little boy around her age. "Will YOU BE MY PRINCE?!!"
The young man sighed, standing up and walking back over to his book. Opening it back up, he looked at his book marker. Looking back at him were light brown eyes and a blushing face. "Mmm Princess Hiroki..." He chuckled to himself before going back to reading his book.
Eva heasitated to follow. "Will he be alright by himself Lupe?!" She said quickly as she watched the other create the sparks. "She didnt want to lose any of her new friends.

"It's Marshell... He's the head guy here, I don't want to loose my job Hiroki..." She sighed and bit her lip a moment think for a moment. She put her glasses back on being silent a minute. "If your so worried about him, go get him before the light's go out... You and he are coming with me to a meeting first... then you can have him till tomorrow. Make sure he comes back. This collar will work, just not on him... Electric shocks don't hurt Zachery... What Marshell doesn't know is that these collars need to be adapted for individual use... Each Mutant is different." She sighed ans shook her head. "After all I don't know how mobile he will be after tomorrow."
Lupe ran to the other side, checking to make sure the next Ally way was clear before she moved to the roof access of the building and fiddled with the lock till it opened. "Its Beau, their electric Poles have no hold on him, he can short circuit them, He'll be along in a few minutes as soon as he deters them from coming down the ally."
Beau waited atop the first flight of stairs, watching the men pause at the sparking telephone pole and then back away to call the electric company. Beau sighed before following up behind the girls slowly. He sighed. "Ladies first." He said bowing his head and gesturing for them to follow after Lupe."
Zachery turned and looked at the space between his bed and the wall, where a little stick on object in the shape of a moon was stuck. It absorbed energy from the light then glowed in the dark all night, Dr. Watson had given it to him when she'd noticed how terrified the boy got in complete darkness. His heart rate would always be racing first thing in the morning.
Nathon sighed as he made it to the little coffee shop where he was supposed to be meeting Dr. Watson. "She's going to be late... Hmm First time she's late and I'm on time... What do you know." He says before leaning against the wall outside and sighing, watching the clouds up high.

Hiroki paused before nodding. "Thank you Jen.... I owe you one.." He said as he moved to run back towards Zachery's cell. Knocking on the door once, he quickly slid his key card and opened the door. After taking a few quick breaths he walked inside. "Zachery?" The smile on his face faltered some as he spotted on the boy. He had never had a chance to visit him more then once every day. He never knew how the other reacted to the dark. "Zachery..." He moved towards the other, sitting on the edge of the other's bed.
Eva sighed before nodding. "You should be careful when you do those kind of things.... What if they spotted you?" She then gave him a little smile. "We would all have to bail you out of trouble then."

Ming grinned and followed after Lupe, stopping behind her at the roof access door. "We're going inside?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. She had never been inside this building before and she didn't know how safe it would be.
Alaina's eyes snapped open at the sound of her mother speaking and opening the door. "What the... oh no..." she said with a gasp as she rose from her bed and went to lock her bedroom door. I can't let them find me... oh no oh no oh no...
The police officer sighed. Because she's not acting suspicious at all... he thought to himself as he rolled his eyes once. He then spoke, "I have suspicions that you are hiding a mutant in your home ma'am." he said firmly.
Alaina's mom opened the door more so she could look at him better. "I can assure you that you are mistaken sir..." she replied slowly. "I live here with my son who is asleep right now... so I'd appreciate it if you leave so as to not wake him up... he is young." she said, clearly angry at the intrusion of her home at such an hour.

Jen sighed and sat down in her office chair. "What am I doing?" She shook her head and put batteries in the collar and the remote that went with it. "I don't know why I'm doing this..." She sighed and pulled out papers to fill out an explanation for the temporary release of the mutant.
Zachery was surprised to see Hiroki back so soon it showed on his face however, he moved towards Hiroki slowly and sat next to him. "Doc?" He asks softly. "What's going on?"
Beau blinked as Eva pointed out what he did was a little reckless. "Eh guess its been a while since anyone has cared about my saftey..." He scratches his head. "No worries They have to work hard to catch me..."
"Yep yep inside we go!" Lupe laughed. "Don't shake his hand when he's standing in bare feet on carpet he'll giveyou a shock!."
"That happend once LUPE!" Beau rolled his eyes and gave the girls a smile. "Lets get going before they decide to put out that fire hazard and check out why that happend."

Hiroki touched the other's head gently. "I told you I was going to take you out didnt I?" He smiled gently. "Dr. Watson gave me the ok, but we have to be quiet about it...." He sighed. "She wants you to wear this new collar though... she says it wont do anything to you sice electric things dont work against you" He streched his arms over his head. "It will be fun to show you around the area! Perhaps you would enjoy a home cooked meal too? Naoaki is a great cook....I'm sure he wouldnt mind cooking for one more.... We dont usually have guests over so it will be new for all of us I guess." His smile grew larger as he talked about the strange man named Naoaki. "Well anways...Is there anything that you would like to bring with you?"
"Naoaki!" A round looking man from behind the counter called out as the other stopped aranging a set of flowers.
"Yes?" Naoaki asked as he continued looking down at the breath taking white roses in his hands.
"Where were you this afternoon?" The man asked as he looked down at a magizine.
"Saving a lonely princess."
"Naoaki..." The man shook his head. "You playboy." A perverted grin moved onto his face. "how many girls have banged you handsome stud?"
Naoaki rolled his eyes. "That isnt any of your business.." He said as he wrapped a Red Ribbion around the boquet of Roses. "I'm going to clock out for the night louis ok?"
The other man nodded before flipping to the comic section of the newspaper on his desk. "Run home to your Boo.."
"That really happened?" Eva looked a bit shocked before laughing lightly and following after them. "Well you better get used to someone caring about you... We dont need to lose you that fast..."

Zachery blinked a bit, he looked in shock. "Really?" He wasn't sure how to describe the feeling he had. He paused. "Wow... Uh..." He reached between the bed and the wall and pulled out the palm sized cresent moon and pushed it into his pocket. "This is... SO... AWsome!" He said with an almost laugh.
Jen sighed as she finisehd the paperwork and sat back in her chair.
Beau shrugged. "They haven't caught me yet." He followed after the girls shutting the door to make sure they didn't leave a trail.
Lupe laughed as she led the way down the stairs. "

Ming followed Lupe down the stairs cautiously. "Where exactly are we going?" she asked the wolf-girl as they made their way down the stairs.
The police officer scowled. "Don't talk to an officer like that ma'am..." he said as he set a foot inside the door. "I'm here to search your house. If I don't find any trace of a mutant... I'll leave you alone." he said sternly as he gently shoved her aside and stepped inside the house.
Alaina's mom sighed and nodded as the officer let himself into her house. She hoped that Alaina had heard the encounter and had taken precautions in her room.
Alaina frantically moved about her room, putting on clothes and trying her hardest to conceal her wings underneath. She then made sure her door was still locked, and climbed back in bed, pretending to be asleep.

"I'm glad you think so..." Hiroki smiled. "Are you ready to go then? Jen just wants us to go to a meeting with her first, but then we have free reign ok?" He moved to stand up and streached once more..."We should hurry before she changes her mind ne?" He held out his hand to the other to take hold of so they could wake back to Jen's office with out questioning.
Eva shooked her head. "Lets hope they never do..." She said to him as she stepped inside and followed after the other girls.
