Rinoa Heartily Vice Captain

Rinoa watches the man carefully as he responds. "Look, in my vest pocket there's a letter to me with specific instructions on what I am to do here, just look that over and that should be all the information you need."
She searches where shes instructed and sure enough there is a letter waiting for her. Delicate fingers open the letter while watchful eyes remain on the prisoner. She pulls out the contents and reads it over and she grimaces. Though quiet again for a while she finally speaks. "I'm really sorry... Henry is it?" She folds up everything and replaces it before taking the man down and undoing the ropes. She really didn't know what to say to him. For the most part she was just disappointed that she didnt find any information, but also she was disappointed in herself a great deal because of what she'd done. The level that she had let herself fall to. She looks over to the man "Hold still, I'm going to try to make this right." Gently she puts an hand to the mans cheek and closes her eyes. The man pulls away a little due to the sting but he does as instructed to the best of his abilities.
Henry simply blinked with confusion and looks to Rinoa, she had done something that the others couldnt see... yet. With a small wince she smiles to him and sighs. "I really am terribly sorry about the confusion Sir, about all this really. This isnt like me at all. Please forgive me."
The man shakes his head and shrugs. "I suppose it's alright since you seem to have taken care of the throbbing pain in my face and the back of my head. I have to say though I was a little paniced to say the least. I think I can forgive you though. Also, to make all this worth your time, I'll keep my ears open to what little information I can gather about that incident too, if you'd like."
Her face lights up a quickly. "You will? I... after what..." She sighs and simply say "Thank you." She thinks a minute and looks to him. "Can I get you anything before you go? Food, water, a drink perhaps?"

Zejx breathes a sigh of relief as things seemed to be calming down. He was actually about to join them when he remembered the other spectator. He used his flash step ability to get behind him. Slowly, he drew his katana and held it out to his side. When he decided he was ready, Zejx allowed himself to become visible. It was time he found out what this guy wanted with Rinoa. "Sorry to bother sir, but I must know one thing. Be you friend or foe to that young lady down there?"

Varaxis's face took on a crooked smile and he simply, but softly replied. "As disappointing as tonight's events have become, ally seems more the case than foe." Slowly turning around. "After all, she did take my advice..." He gestures behind himself to the kidnapping.

"Advice? You suggested her to this madness?" His grip on his katana tightened. So this was the man responsible for this. He caused Rinoa to act the way she did. The only question was why. Zejx took a deep breath to calm himself, but his grip did not loosen. "What is you game here?"

Varaxis echo's Zejx "Game..." he laughs a little to himself. "no better choice of word to be put to this situation. I simply wish to see what this young lady can do, what kind of commotion she can truly stir in this little burg. All I'm after, if you really wish to know, is the chance to enjoy myself in my 'game'. Rinoa seems to want to play." His head tips to one side and he gives a foul grin "do you?"

Lore watches the people outside pass by and head into their houses for the evening. After a few minutes more Lore finishes his dinner and heads up to his room to sleep bidding the nice innkeeper goodnight.

Lore wakes up and goes outside after eating something for breakfast.
Lore:Hmm, there isn't much going on here I guess I will head out then.
He wanders to the edge of town and looks at his map seeing where he wants to go he closes his eyes and concentrates holding his hand before him weaving strands of energy together to form a doorway before him with a star on it.
Lore: This should take me there in no time.
He turns the doorknob and opens the door stepping inside and closing the door behind him which spins around like a top before disappearing.
Lore walks down a sparkling path surrounded by stars and comets for about 15 minutes and comes upon another door which he passes through.
