"ETA is 15 minutes ladies!" Ikari said back to them. He looked over his shoulder at Grik and said, "And just who the hell do you think I am? I never get shot down! Now, i've had to do drops where the LZ is hot, but you guys just have to jump out at about 3 feet while the chopper's moving" He looked back through the windshield and said, "I'll keep you posted on time."
Hayes re-opened his eyes and looked around at the rest of the squad. "Come on guys, it won't be that bad. We just gotta go in, take some guys out and leave. We'll have air support from the general anyway, he'll take care of us. Won't you general?" Hayes asked. Ikari nodded his head.

"Yes I'm aware of the air support situation Hayes. But think about the ground troops. No offense to any of the men on this mission but we have 2 rookies, you, and me. I was expecting Delta, Kloner, Skujax, and maybe RazGriz to go with us. Ikari, Hayes, and me are the only guys who aren't fresh out of boot camp. If any of us get shot we'll lose one fourth of our fighting force. Not the best odds I've had. Not the worst though..."

as the helecopter flys over the jungle, wraith notices a few potrol guards here and there, but show no sign of noticing their approach. "this should be good to our advantage." wraith thinks to himself. "we can come in and catch the enemy by surprise." wraith does one last check on his gear, and looks around the helecopter at his other fellow soliders and memorizes their faces to make sure he doesnt aim at any of his friends.

"ETA is five minutes boys. Intel just radioed me and they say the LZ is hot. I repeat, the LZ is hot. We will come in low and fast, you'll have to jump out and roll" Ikari said to the men.

"Oh boy. Did you hear that rookies? We're going to encounter resistance as soon as we land. Why is it that the LZ is always hot? Why can't we ever be dropped in a safe environment?"

hearing this, wraith slings his sniper rifle over his back and pulls out his silenced G3, cocking it. its only a matter of time before we're droped. "looks like i won't be sniping any time soon."

Hey Kloner. Joining or just watching this one?
And as to your sitrep request Ikari is about to drop myself, Wraith, General Grik, and Hayes at the LZ. The EtA is less than 5 minutes. The LZ has confirmed hostiles. We could use some backup (you) and anybody else you can find. (delta and RazGriz.) ((if he's actually on))

((Ok, slanter, put parentheses around things that aren't ment to be included in the actual mission. Such as I'm doing now. Neither Ikari or Hayes is saying this, or doing this, so there are parentheses around it. I'll have Ikari send a chopper for you if you want Kloner))

"Alright men this is it. You're about to enter into combat. Your enemy will show you no mercy so don't ask for any. And don't give any because we're not here to take prisoners. I want you to say on your toes and shoot them before they shoot us. And I don't want any heroes trying to take on the whole enemy force by themselves. Don't be reckless because that will only get you killed. Wraith I'm counting on you to be our eyes. I need you to be on the lookout for enemy snipers. (After we land and kill the hostiles that are in the immediate vicinity) Slanter for the present fight I need you to use your explosives to destroy any machine gun nests (if any) and to take out large clusters of hostiles. (you should also have a gun handy as a precautionary) Hayes I need you to back me up and to make sure that if anybody gets wounded you let us all know. We will then give you covering fire so that you can get the wounded man out of the action. Make sure that we don't lose anybody. My job will be to kill hostile who so much as points a gun in our direction. Do you men understand your roles in this battle?"
