True i did forget i remember that i waited a few months until they finally made one that wasn't defective. The drive failure i didn't care about once i learned to fix it which was a pain. Also read you could just send it in and they'll fix it for you.

Also the reason i choose the PS2 over XBox was for the games and that i already had many PS games so being able to play them on the PS2 just encouraged it even more. As It goes there really wasn't any XBox exclusive games that i cared for and the there was many exclusive games for the PS2 that i wanted to get.

See... now to me, your last post makes a lot more sense. Just bashing a system because of it's maker is pointless and stupid in my opinion.

A system is only as good as the games available for it... which is why all the people currently arguing all over the damn place that PS3/XBox 360/Revolution it the best/worst system EHH-VARR because it's got X more/less processors and Y times more/less power than the others are morons in my book. Without games, the systems are just expensive paperweights.
