Princess Yuffie Kisaragi Kenshin Belmont That would be the crissaegrim. I believe a sword was named exactly that way in DoS but it wasn't the same, it was a really lousy version if you ask me. thanks for helping me remember its name! 4laugh Sure, it was no trouble for me cuz I have it always in the tip of my tongue. wink xo-Snow White Queen-xo hypnocrown Hey Queen! Can you be more specific? I have no idea which one you mean... sweatdrop I really wish I could remember what it was called. I think you either get it out of candles or when you kill an enemy. It's a floating glowing cross and when you 'pick it up' there's a flash and all of the enemies are gone. I've only seen it in LoIYuffie is right, it's the rosary (rosario) and that's not a weapon per say. It's actually a one use item that you have to find (you can't keep it either) so I'm afraid it doesn't count as a favorite weapon. Sorry Queen! Did you know that not all CV games have it? It was used mostly in the first games and the only recent game where it was still used was Lament. I can't recall if it was used in CoD as well though...

I also liked the Holy Water in the earlier games. You'd throw it and it would burn a little blue flame. whee

But the thread is about main weapons like the vampire killer, not about sub-weapons.
*sighs* I suppose we can always change the title of the thread to include sub-weapons as well, huh? rolleyes

Ok, I'll go take care of that now!
BTW, how come nobody has mentioned any new weapons like the glyphs in Ecclesia? I wonder if anybody here likes the bow glyphs or even the sickle ones. You know?

You mean the cross item crash? Nowadays there's plenty of ways that the cross has been used. If you recall, in LoI you had 5 crystals and you had 5 ways of using them in a similar manner as in HoD. Sadly, I can only remember the one that was similar to Richter's item crash when he summoned crosses all around him. I can't remember any of the other effects for some reason.

hypnocrown Yeah, grand cross sounds like a match, yes. Hasn't anyone wondered what happened to all the different stuff the Belmonts or non Belmonts have used over the years to fight Drac with? I mean, think about it! What became of the spheres after Leon used them? What about Simon's stuff? The huge diamond, the garlic, the laurel leaves, the special daggers, all that stuff he used! What about Juste's books? Do you suppose there's a warehouse or museum that contains them to this day? Of course I'm talking within the saga, not that I'm implying there's an actual place where all that stuff is, I'm not crazy. mrgreen I imagine it went something like this. "And this, son, is our ancestral weapon, which was used to defeat Dracu--" "*plink* Oops." "... you .... you BROKE it?! stressed " Provided they survived, however, I imagine it would make very a very interesting episode of Antiques Roadshow.

Ha-ha! That's a good one K! I can totally see that happening to Leon's Spheres for sure. However, I don't think that applies to certain things such as Juste's books or the huge diamond Simon used to carry around in his "Quest". As you know, diamonds can't really break like that.
I wonder if anyone else has ever wondered about any of the unique style of items that have been introduced by Belmonts and non Belmont heroes alike. I mean, there's got to be someone else in the world that could use a system like Soma, don't you think? Usually, in TV shows you see how sooner or later another character shows up that can do pretty much the same as the main character can. That's almost always a given, am I right or what?
