try lvl 130 chaos. but u can only equip one of that star rank. which character r u using? becuase most of seph's atacks are rather slow and a fast character can dodge left and right fast enough to get out of them. ifr ur using a spell caster then he shouldnt be geting close to you. and a slower character like cloud himself just mean you need to keep to he ground and time your attacks as you two come closer to each other. and upgrades are always nice. many times i kept losing due to bad gear.

It's not true. You can equip as many star ranks as you want, and get the full effects. I learned this from the Cloud ghost. Like I said before, I use Squall, who is not especially fast, and is a close-range expert.
EDIT: I want to correct myself about the accessories. You can only have one star rank of any one accessory. But you can still equip as many star ranks as you want, as long as they're not identical.

ooo good luck there. jecht is awesome power wise but its hard to get his charges to really go at full power. and that in my opinion is where he is truly good. try using terra get her up to that level. shes prety bad a** with holy and all that.

hmm i wish i could help i honestly cant stand using him, and thus i wouldnt know. but i would say prolly about the same as the others summon wise. i always use omega, or iron giant. gear the best you can equip on him. lvl 100 gr. and what suits you on the accesories all depends on you as well same with abilties and what not its all about play style with him. tho i will say take less hp hits for more brave hits hes got a lot of link abilities.

Ah, so Onion Knight's not your forte? Who is? My top three are as follows: Squall, Bartz, and Cloud of Darkness (hooray for lvl 100 ExDeath!).
But I digress. Next question: Is there any particular item or accessory that boosts a character's speed?

Zidane hands down is my man, but then I practiced with terra and exdeath a lot too.
Onto you second question I don't beleive so but there are abilities.
