Adela reluctantly sheathed her katana. She glanced at Lash and back at the door to the person who just recently introduced himself as Tassadarus. Her hands were still twitching for the comforting weight of her katana. Adela started to trust Tassadarus already and caught herself. She bowed nonetheless and said, "I am Adela." She grimaced. Why do all these people suffer from something or other? Meeting all these new people also opened them up to her pain, and with all of them combined, it was a bit much. Unless they continued with the journey and she distracted herself, she would crumble apart soon.

Lash took his hand from her shoulder and drew up his hood. "Let's go." He stated waiting for others to leave. He had no idea where Omha was but he soon would.

"Lead the way." Tassadarus says, stepping back so he's out of the way. This group was certainly going after a noble cause, but he feared that their king was already dead.

Adela's eyebrows raised. He's coming? She sighed. Just another person to trust as usual. This person shouldn't be an exception. She glanced testily at Tassadarus. Dragoon... why? She quickly looked away, glancing at Nick for the next command.

Nicholas nodded, and started to go out of the door, but paused and turned around. "We will have to go on foot. Unless our dear Knight," he gestured towards Victoria, "has somehow commissioned some horses to come with us." With that, he left to lead them out of the castle, winding around the corridors to get to the courtyard. Most of the calvary were already in pursuit of any news of the king's whereabouts, and the other horses that would have remained were already claimed, or were killed in the suppression of the uprising. Well, that was as far as he knew.

"Good." Tassadarus says quietly. "I don't like horses." Following Nicholas, he asks "Where are we looking first?"

Nicholas glanced at Tassadarus. 'Doesn't like horses,' the simple fact getting stored away in his mind for possible future reference. Then he spoke, "We are heading towards the beautiful scenic village of Omha to try and see if we can find any trace of where he went." They had made it to a long, central hall that lead out to the main courtyard.

"Sounds like you already did. Why Omha?" Tassadarus asks, looking around the hall to note any of the entrances and exits. He wouldn't want to be stuck in here.

Nicholas nodded. Lash payed attention. Good. But to how much did he pay attention to? And how good were his powers of observation? Nicholas felt he had to ask these sorts of questions in his mind to keep himself sharp. They made their way closer and closer to the doors leading out of the castle. "The chances of him going there are pretty remote, but it still is a chance."

((Then how does the possessive form of 'their' fit into that sentence? "Because the king has a summer home their." Their? Who their? Wouldn't the location homophone be more aptly suited for that sentence? So it would then read "Because the king has a summer home there." The second sentence makes more sense to me. I am rarely ever mistaken. You must have thought I meant the second 'their' in that post. I meant the first one.))
((And also, it would be "you're" as in "you are" in your rebuttal against me, as in the sentence "Your mistaken". Your is the possessive form of you. Now, if it read "Your mistake", I could excuse the possessive form because it give something for the you to possess. Bad Bad DeeJay.))

(Bad both of you. Noftin, at least DJ didn't charge onto a ledge filled with kobolds and dragons- drakes, sorry- with a character with NO MELEE. Fill you in later DJ, and no Noftin, we will never let you live that down.)
"What's the chance that if he isn't there, we'll be able to find out where he is?" Tassadarus asks. "If the king ran away, it would seem logical that someone their would know. But if he didn't run..."
And yes, I meant to do that.

~DJ, I'm on Noftin's side. It should really be "there" instead of "their". Oh, and Dasmittel, you made the same mistake.~
Adela thought about it. "There are very good chances of the king just running away, though, from what I hear, he sounds very steadfast. Maybe unsure of his actions, but riveted on helping his domain. Why would he run away if he wanted to help?" She thought out loud so that others could comment, something that she just recently started to do.

"Maybe he didn't run away." Tassadarus says to himself quietly, not intending anyone else to hear. He looks ahead, noticing that they seem to be heading for the front doors. This obviously wasn't a secret mission.
