Teara backed up as her nose was broken. It was bleeding thorugh her hand already. The sword flashed for a second, See? He was ready! Kill him now you can do it Teara! Teara gave a curt nod and held her sword up ready to attack again. She took a swing this time knowing he was quick and readyso she took care to make it to where she could counter.

Valen whipped out the blade strapped on his back and instead of trying to counter attack he simply blocked the blow. "What do you want? My quarrel is not with you; leave me be or I will destroy you."

This was it the sword was excited. LIES! "Lies." Teara echoed the swords words. Teara was getting blocked with each swing she gave. She charged him again and this time did an over hand attack to get him. That will get him for sure. The sword awaited the hit from either side. Was it not going to taste blood at all this time?

Valen rolled his eyes in annoyance and plunged his blade into her chest and then he activated it's spell to drain the life from her magically, not to heal his wounds (he did not have any) but to make her die quicker... albeit a bit more horrifically.

Teara couldn't even utter a word as she dropped dead. The sword sighed in disgust. It hated to hear the dying thoughts of such people. The sword quickly reached out to Valen, a vampire was a very useful. One that could live a long time and maybe she wouldn't have to search for a nother master for a long time. Unlike with humans which made it jump from person to person to often. Pick me up. I am much better then the sword you have.
Rae heard a commotion as she was walking to the next town. She saw a girl die as a man stabbed her through the chest. Raising an eyebrow at the scene she figured she better stay hidden for now.

Valen put his foot against the woman's chest and then removed his sword and wiped it off. At hearing the voice in his head he was puzzled. A speaking sword? The sword changed it's form slightly to look like Valen's sword, but with a darker color scheme, instead of the predominantly red color scheme of his existing sword. Valen felt oddly compelled to pick the blade up, "I have never encountered a weapon enchanted like you before... do you have a name?"
(Sorry, but I thought it appropriate to change the sword to make it more appealing to Valen)

(tis fine I do not care this is your roleplsay and we kinda made the sword together.)
Rae widened her eyes at the swords sudden change and the man looking at it with curiousity. Such a sword had to be magical...it would be great for her collection. Rae decided that since this is what she had left her cave for to begin with following this weird smelling human might not be a bad idea.
The sword shimmered,"You can name me if you like. I do not really care for titles but people find it easier to give me one." The now feminine voice replied.

After thinking a moment Valen replied, "Nvira.... I don't know remember where I had heard it, but do you like it?"

"Sounds a lot better then most of the names I have been given." She seemed pleased by it. "Are you going to pick me up now or shall we sit around by a dead body and talk a bit more?" (I am going to say she now because it is now a she for the time being.)

Valen picked Nvira up and removed the sheath from the dead woman. After sheathing Nvira on his back next to his other blade he started digging a shallow grave for the fallen woman, it was a tradition of his when killing other humans and elves.

Nvira watched him dig a grave,"Thank you... she was... a bit erratic I must say but a good owner none the less. I think you looked like someone she hated. So where are we going Master Valen?"

"Right, I haven't introduced myself, I am Valen Gray, you can just call me Valen please, I am no one's master and no one is my master." He paused for a second as he continued to bury her, "we are going to Ostermark, I have some friends whom I am supposed to meet up with there."
(The friends are Tira and Dar, in his profile.... he used to be a loaner until he found those two and cares for them quite a bit.... but he is... unsure about his feelings for others... if you read my short story you will see how feelings for others ended up last time)

Rae watched as this guy buried the woman he had just killed. He seem to be distracted and he was talking to himself...or to the dead body...but Rae was a dragon she knew magical things when she saw them. That sword must be the source. It was brimming with magic. Oh what a prize to have with her collection!
Nvira chuckled a little,"If you talk in your mind I can hear you just fine. No need to talk out loud although most are unaccustomed to the fact its quite fine with me if you want to look like your crazy. I can read surface thoughts of those around us as well as yours and some deeper thoughts as well since you are now my mast...ummm weilder."

Oh, alright then. Valen finished burying the woman and then got up from his knees and he noticed another figure off in the distance, with his superior eyesight he could tell it was another woman. Can you tell who she is? Valen started walking north again, but paid attention with his hearing to see if he was being followed.

Nvira seemed amused,"You saw her then? I thought you hadn't noticed your little watcher." Nvira reached out and skimmed the thoughts. "Hmmm...her name is Raetherstria." Nvira liked playing games. He asked who she was not WHAT she was or what she wanted. Therefore the dragon part would stay a secret.
Rae waited until her started to move up more and then began her slow following of him. She wasn't sure when she would pounce to take the weapon. Night? Most humans couldn't see by that time....
