exclaim gonk question I found a few songs by Dream Theater... they're okay... but I think I'll stick to Nightwish. ninja Replace these in the above statement: Dream Theater with Type O Negative and Nightwish with Moonspell. Infact, maybe I'll just stick to Planka for the time being. *wanders off listening to Zabyla Ne Pomnyu*

Jelouse? domokun Voracity I found a few songs by Dream Theater... they're okay... but I think I'll stick to Nightwish. ninja Try "6.00", "Eternal Sacrifice" and "lie" from Dream Theater, even still I can admit it's not anywhere near the style of Nightwish, so it's still a matter of tastes. Oh by the way, I notice the singer, Marcela Bovio, from Stream of Passion, sounds very alike to the style of Nightwish/Evanesence/Nemesea/Within Temptation, and all the likes xp Though the composing from Arjen Lucassen does give a nice originality to it ^_~ Voracity Replace these in the above statement: Dream Theater with Type O Negative and Nightwish with Moonspell. Lilith, you make me smile. 3nodding I tried to get the songs by Dream Theater you suggested, but all have a line, and I'm position 6-7 on all of them. ._. Joy... As for Stream of Passion sounding similar to Nightwish... eh, nah, not really. Female vocals, but they don't sound alike. They kicked the singer form Nightwish out recently (reason: supposedly she's a b***h), so I may find you right in the near future, haha. As for Zabyla Ne Pomnyu... I doubt you'd like it. And when I say I doubt you'd like it, I mean I'm more than certain you wouldn't like it. But, if you want to hear it, I can send it to you somehow. I can guarantee you'll never find it on a p2p network. domokun

I don't really like death metal or anything like that. The closest gothy-like music I like is Nightwish stuff...
I'm not huge into rock. System of a Down still owns my heart, but other than that, I really don't stick to one kind of music.
I like J-Rock, somewhat, but the more upbeat stuff. I'm a huge Miyavi fan.
J-Pop... Orange Range, Ulfuls, and a select few others rock my socks...
I like a lot of international stuff. Russian, Romanian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.
American rap really does suck nowadays, but I like French, Japanese, and Korean rap. There's still meaning to most of those beyond hoes, drugs, gangs, and sex. I like some Spanish rap as well.
I like traditional (Irish) music... Danny Boy is an all-time-favorite.
Orchestrated compositions... Especially Japanese in descent, I am in love with. Yuki Kajiura, Nobuo Uematsu, and what have you... They're all geniuses, and orchestrate (as well as sing, in Kajiura's case) beautiful music.
I like some classic American stuff. Sinatra mostly. I love his stuff... Luck be a Lady, Fly Me to the Moon, and Singin' in the Rain.
I can't think of much else at the moment...

That's quite a collection of titles there Yig, can't quite say I share your taste, but it's nice to see someone listen such a big variation of music.
I recently ordered 3 of Le'rue Delashay's cd's, wich I know see might've been a bit too early, cause I could've put his newest cd "the revelations of wave and form" in the same order if I waited a little longer, cause he's about to release his new cd.
That, and I just received the single "Blind for You" by Di-rect and Wibi Soerjadi, wich I planned to cover with some friends. Friend was searching for a lead guitarist and a vocalist, and since I didn't have the skills for the guitar, yet, I applied for vocalist.
Nata Kefka applied aswell x3 so practicaly, I'm not sure who's going to sing it yet. xd

You know, if I can get enough money to become an official member of the CoS, and actually attend a grotto, I think I would have the fortune of meeting LeRue... He's from Minneapolis, MN. biggrin That would be most cool. Any of you guys like J-Rock, J-Pop, J-Hiphop, etc? Good ol' Japanese bands. Miyavi, Dir En Grey, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Malice Mizer (at least when Gackt was the front man. I didn't like Klaha... But you know, it's all about Mana! heart ), Orange Range, Hikaru Utada, EE Jump, Rip Slyme, Zeebra, M-Flo, etc etc... ^That was all an excuse to post those pictures and stuff. Anyone like any of the above?

Odd song. ^_^
Gackt's new videos and music style sort of scare me. I mean, he went from gothic rocky bandy-death classic w00t, to bubbly blonde pop star waaiii, to lawlz hip hop pop rock cornrow man...
He's going to be in Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus... Just imposed into the game... Think Roger Rabbit... I'm not sure if I should be psyched or disappointed. I miss the old Gackt, and still love him to death, but I hate the new Gackt...
